ABSTRACTThe purpose of the study was to examine, from the point of view of former research findings, what impact physical activity had on learning. I chose to make an explorative/inductive research, to get as much knowledge as possible from the studied Presentation of problem, not to limit myself to a specific research theory. The result proved, that school personal and student experienced many positive effects from daily physical activities. The pupils were more pleased. There was more piece and quiet in the classroom.

Den här rapporten redogör för utvecklingen av ett designförslag till en CD-spelare. Uppdraget kommer från det relativt lilla handelsbolaget Transient Design i Alingsås, och går ut på att hjälpa företaget att ta fram ett designförslag på en CD-spelare i så kallad high end-klass. Fokus i projektet ligger på gränssnittet mellan användaren och produkten, samt formgivning av chassi och CD-lucka. Rapporten inleds med en förstudie som bjuder på en kort introduktion till hifi, identifiering av målgruppen och dess krav och önskemål på en CD-spelare. Vidare studeras tekniker för framförallt design av visuella gränssnitt och metoder för insamling av data samt kreativitetsstimulerande metoder.

The area of Lycksabäcken northwest of Lycksele is a national interest of natural conservationbecause of its geological values with many unique landforms. Many of these landforms indicatethat the deglaciation process in the area was very complex. However, the deglaciation process inthe area has not previously been fully understood. The aim is to add to the knowledge of theevents that took place during the last deglaciation. To do this, the glaciofluvial landforms in thearea were mapped by studying aerial photographs with a Wild Aviopreter and a five-day fieldinventory of key areas for the interpretation.

Many companies do not register all the stops that occur in a production plant, it often takes longer to report than to fix the problem. If no problems are registered, you cannot trace where the problems arise.This master thesis was performed at AcobiaFLUX and they have noticed an increased demand from their customers to trace problems raised in their processes. The aim of the thesis was to find out how a tool to monitor a process best could be developed. Then the most essential from the theoretical base was developed into a useful tool for operators. For the operators to know if the process utilizes the full capacity of a process, the tool presents a measure of the Overall Equipment Efficiency, OEE.

The work with Agenda 21 resulted in a larger focus on local participation and deliberation. The Swedish implementation of Agenda 21 is a result of these local governments´ political agendas and policies.The purpose with this paper is to examine the relationship between the citizen and the local government. It focuses on three theories of citizenship and how the view of "the environmental aware citizen?; in the local government?s municipalities policies differ and from which theory of citizenship do they come from.The analysis is of a valuing and comparing nature. The municipalities´ web pages have been the main source to generate an understanding of their view on the normative environmental work.

This essay investigates how the author Oline Stig creates identities for her main characters in three short stories; Midsommar, Polly Maggoo and Den längsta dagen from the collection Den andra himlen (2007).My investigation is based on concepts chosen from psychology and narratology: First, Jonas Stier?s definition of human identity. In his definition he focuses on a person?s social context. He also considers identity formation as an ongoing, ever- changing process.

The purpose of our thesis has been to study Social Workers view of children?s needs and how they work with children?s needs when they are orphaned because of HIV/Aids in South Africa. The question formulations we used to answer our purpose are:? What needs do the Social Workers consider the children to have?? How do the Social Workers work with children?s needs?We have a qualitative methodological approach in the thesis, where we have performed four interviews with four Social Workers on different organizations in and around Cape Town, South Africa. The amount of web APIs that are open to the public is increasing fast. Both the free web APIs as well as the ones that cost money to access. Both bigger and smaller organizations, professional and non-professional developers use these web APIs to add value to their systems or use it to create new applications. This is an area study where alot of research has been done in the last few years. In spite of this there are still no user-centered evaluation methods for web APIs.

Vårt syfte med denna uppsats har varit att undersöka hur sex pedagoger i förskola och skola ser på och arbetar med bildskapande i verksamheterna. Vi ville också undersöka vilka likheter och skillnader vi kunde finna hos de två kategorierna av pedagoger. Vår undersökning har vi gjort med hjälp av kvalitativa djupintervjuer med de sex pedagogerna. Uppsatsen är även utförd med fortlöpande litteraturstudier kopplat till vårt ämne. I vår litteraturgenomgång ger vi först en historisk tillbakablick på bildskapandet i den svenska förskolan och skolan.

This paper analyses what effect an application of a specific poststructural feminist theory has on the Swedish classification system SAB. The purpose is to study if it is possible to open up the current rePresentation of gender towards a more multiple one. The study is both theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part include a short Presentation of both classification theory and feminist theory. The study also presents the critic that poststructual feminists submit.

The purpose of this master?s thesis is to examine the activity at the library and preschool at Kristineberg (a part of the town of Borås) and its underlying approach. How do the activities agree with the ideological attitudes of the 1970s? To answer these questions I have carried out a case study based on qualitative interviews.
