AbstractThis report discusses how the intranet as a communication tool can bedeveloped to become a daily work tool. An intranet can help the organization to get information out to the employees fast, and the employees can choose when they want to take part of the information. This report also discusses how the functions and the presented information can be developed to be even better. The proposals has been developed out from information gathered from a survey,the people who has answered the survey has been given their point of view of the intranet, and also proposals for improvements, which we have implemented in to our theory part. There is no company or organization that uses the exact same intranet solution.

I denna studie undersöks danslärares och danspedagogers uppfattning avSimonsontekniken och hur den kan användas i dansundervisningen på gymnasieskolans estetiska program för att öka måluppfyllelsen gällande målen inom anatomi, kroppens funktion och den egna kroppens funktion enligt Gy11. Studien är en intervjustudie där gymnasielärare och pedagoger med erfarenhet av Simonsontekniken intervjuades.Resultatet visar att anatomi, och hur de förhåller sig till anatomi, är en viktig aspekt i deras dansundervisning. Ett framgångsrikt sätt att förstå anatomi är att integrera det i dansen istället för att endast behandla det teoretiskt. This report was written in an attempt to summarize old and new theories and scientific results regarding FORL (Feline Odontoclastic Resorptive Lesions). Several different kinds of treatment are presented in this study. Among them teeth extraction and crown amputation seems to give the best long-term results. It seems clear that the domestic cat of today have no trouble digesting dry foods without their teeth. The most accurate way to diagnose FORL is by using intraoral dental radiology technique.

Syftet med arbetet är att se hur begreppet hållbar utveckling presenteras i svenska läroböcker inom ämnet geografi vid gymnasiet. Jag har även haft som syfte att undersöka förhållandet mellan läroböckernas texter med det rådande forskningsläget kring begreppet hållbar utveckling. För att få svar på frågeställningen har jag använt mig av en textanalytisk metod av tre läroböcker som är vanligt förekommande i undervisning i geografi vid gymnasiet. Resultatet visar på att man använt sig av en ytlig presentation av begreppet hållbar utveckling, vilket stämmer väl in på hur man valt att presentera nya händelser som tex. konferenser, rapporter etc.

Sara Lidman?s first novel, Tjärdalen (The Tar Pit, 1953), addresses ethical issues in a remote village in the north of Sweden. This essay discusses the novel?s narrative technique and the ethical aspects implied by the narration and aesthetic design. The approach is based on Adam Zachary Newton?s narrative ethics, which links narrative theory and method with an ethical perspective.

In this thesis some different modulation schemes for xDSL-techniques are compared. The investigated techniques are ADSL, G.lite, ADSL2, HDSL, SHDSL and VDSL. The modulation methods used are DMT, CAP and different versions of PAM. Several broadband techniques also use Trellis Coded Modulation (TCM) to increase the coding gain of the transmission. For each one of the different modulation methods the signal-to-noise ratio is calculated for generating a bit error rate probability of 10-7.

The goal and purpose of this essay is to study if and how multimodality is used within a Swedish school in Kalmar. This is accomplished by observing the different modalities inside the classroom and how the use of different modalities affects the teaching. Unstructured observations combined with a material-based thematic presentation leads up to an analysis based on social semiotics and multimodality. Syftet med min uppsats är att försöka förmedla hur man ser på anime, ett så typiskt japanskt fenomen, här i väst? Vidare så har jag genom litteraturstudier försökt presentera för läsaren vad anime är för något. Detta görs genom en kort historisk presentation av anime för att sedan djupare visa strukturen i anime, karaktärer, innehåll och slutligen huruvida anime återspeglar nutida oro i det egna samhället. Även en viss diskussion förs gällande anime och dess legitimitet som japanskt kulturarv. Mina informanter får också berätta hur dom tycker att anime särskiljer sig från övriga animationer, då främst från väst samt hur den svenska marknaden och dess tittare ställer sig till anime..

Simplicity, intimacy, freedom and one single threadcharacterize the knitting technique.In my project, I have studied ways of creating three-dimensional shape and structure using single threads and various knitting techniques. I applied my ideas in a collaboration with the singer Sofia Karlsson. The focus has been to design a portable object that can be used in pictures for the cover and promotion of her upcoming album.The material I studied, processed and used in creating the three-part object was linen. In the center stands a collar, that changes expression depending on how it is worn and which side is turned towards the outside. The collar interacts with a cylinder for her hands and a hairnet.

The aim of the work was to investigate the possibility to combine information from PPG and bio-acoustic technology to extract information that is related to the blood pressure. The measurements have been carried out with several different configurations. First the relation between arterial sounds and the PPG-signal was studied. After those measurements with both PPG and the bio- acoustic technique was concluded on people in different positions and after riding a bike. The goal was to vary the blood pressure.

The following paper looks into MaternityPaternity leave and how the parents make use of it. The underlying reasons for the paper, is a pattern of unequal division of leave between the mother and father.By using a qualitative in depth interview technique with couples that have children between 2 and 3 years old we have looked for reasons why the decisions, around the division of leave, have been taken, and what factors influence the outcome.We have found that great importance is attached to, how, the negotiations are carried out between the parents, although these negotiations are influenced by a series of circumstances where the families economic situation influenced by the employment market are important factors.The results from the empiric part of the study showed a link between the childs age and which parent stayed home. Furthermore, the results show the families place in relationship to the structure of society also plays an important part in the concluding division of leave..

Respondenter var studenter vidmusikerutbildning inriktning improvisation på Högskolan för scen ochmusik, Göteborg. En kvalitativ intervjustudie genomfördes enligt criticalincident technique och tematiserades med tematisk analys. Intervjudeltagarebeskrev olika typer av oro och nervositet inför musikaliska prestationer ochdet föreslogs att detta kan förstås som 4 potentiella subtyper av musikaliskprestationsångest; Publik, Social, Teknisk och Kreativ musikaliskprestationsångest.
