The focus is partly on the recent discovery of the Higgs boson, and partly on how software can be used to simulate processes in particle accelerators. This report summarize a simple and efficient way to convert 2D into 3D designs. It explains the benefits of a 3D design compared with 2D, and how those benefits may be used.It will also give the reader a presentation of the company Clean Air Technologies, which for the most part constructs cleaning facilities for power plants. How to create 3D-libraries for some of those facilities will be introduced in this composition.The collaboration with Clean Air Technologies has resulted in several 3D animated movies and rendered images. Implementering av ögonspårning i en virtuell arbetsbänk

Examensarbetet har omfattat en komplett produktutveckling. Detta har lett till en nyprodukt som företaget SenseGraphics ska vidareutveckla och förhoppningsvis producera. Our bachelor thesis is a visualisation made in 3D-graphics of how the horserace track in Tingsryd perhaps will look like in the future, complete with a miletrack, steeplechase, and other horserace courses. Today, the race track is only in it?s building phase. The inner field-group in Tingsryd needed presentation material to show their eventual sponsors, so they contacted us at Media Technology, and we instantly decided to give their idea a try..

Geoteknisk 3D-projektering

På SWECO VBB har ett projekt som kallas Geomodellen pågått ett antal år, projektet syftar till att integrera geotekniska, geohydrologiska, topografiska och miljötekniska förhållanden i en och samma 3D-modell. SWECO VBBs vision med Geomodellen är att skapa ett verktyg där all geoteknisk data i projektet presenteras på ett lättöverskådligt sätt. Detta examensarbete är ett steg i den utvecklingen, arbetets syfte är att undersöka vilka datorverktyg som finns tillgängliga på marknaden, samt att studera vilka av dessa program som kan vara lämpliga att använda för att göra geotekniska 3D-modeller. Med en geoteknisk 3D-modell menas en modell där olika jordlager i ett undersökningsområde representeras av ytor i en 3D- miljö. Önskemålet med dessa modeller är att de i ett projekt skall verka som projekteringsunderlag när förstärkningsåtgärder och dylikt skall dimensioneras, exempelvis pållängder och sponter.
