With this study we intend to investigate and analyse three different preschool?s holdings of toys and discuss the result in relation to the creation of subject. The investigation in this study consists of an inventory of the holdings of toys at three different preschools. We have used an already existing system for classification which is composed by Nilsson and Nelson (2002). The results give a detailed survey of collected material in the form of tables in which we indicate the comparisons which are relevant to our purpose.

Syftet med studien är att synliggöra hur barn tänker om liv och död och deras uppfattning om livets uppkomst. Genom att utgå från ett biologiskt- och ett filosofiskt perspektiv så är mitt syfte att synliggöra barns oliktänkande i ämnet. Min valda metod till studien är semistrukturerad intervju integrerat med bildskapande med barn mellan 5-7 år. I resultatet av min studie så synliggörs barns olika sätt att förstå och uttrycka livsnära fenomen på. Resultatet visade också på barns oliktänkande genom en naturalistisk-, evolutionär- eller en skapelsekopplad beskrivning av livets och människans uppkomst.

This essay tells about the meaning of eurhythmics for children?s development and why it is so difficult to draw attention to the value of eurhythmics compared to other activities in preschool. The essay builds upon a story that shows what consequences may follow when the meaning of the eurhythmics in the process of learning is not acknowledged. By looking at the relation between rhythm and human beings in a global perspective, I have examined the meaning of rhythm for the human well-being. The question I have researched is; why does eurhythmics appeal to almost every child in spite of being rejected by so many teachers? By researching the reasons behind these completely different points of views, I have tried to enhance the understanding for the different perspectives.

I have through qualitative interviews and analysis of previous research in the area searched answers to what tablets are used for in preschools and the reason why they are used in this way. In addition, it examines the similarities and differences there are in how teachers and children describe the use of the tool in preschool. The study is also looking for answers on whether and how the plates are used to develop children's scientific knowledge. There are six teachers and 14 children's statement that forms the basis for the analysis. The results indicate that tablets are used for two purposes.

The aim of this study was to investigate whether teachers are involved in children´s play, what their perspectives are on the importance of play and what conditions teachers have to stimulate children in their playing. In this study, I?ve been able to verify that play has a great value for children?s learning development. My method have been interviewing four teachers at a kindergarten in order to examine educators? perspective on the importance of play.The results of my investigation showed that teachers believe that play and role- play have a major impact on children's learning.

Abstract Syftet med studien var att ta reda på och synliggöra hur förskollärare ser på sitt arbete med planerade aktiviteter på två förskolor. Metoderna som användes var intervjuer och videoobservationer. Intervjuerna var ett sätt att få en bild av förskollärares syn på gruppaktiviteter med barn i åldrarna tre till fem år. Videoobservationerna var ett sätt att få möjlighet att fördjupa och förstå hur arbetet ser ut i praktiken. Frågeställningarna för studien bygger på sju centrala begrepp delaktighet, inflytande, gemenskap, samhörighet, utanförskap, barns intresse och nyfikenhet som också var grunden för intervjuerna med förskollärarna.

Today?s Sweden becomes more and more multicultural, with a mixture of many different languages. Many children are raised to learn two or more parent languages. If you work as an educationalist in preschool you will probably come in contact with these children. The question is how you should treat them and ease their development of languages.The purpose with this work is to find answers to the question if bilingual children develop their languages by the same method as monolingual and how one as an educationalist can make these children?s development of language easier.The papers preface is a part of literature that describes different researchers view on the bilingual children?s development of language and how one, as an educationalist, can ease it.To my study I have chosen to interview three educationalists in preschool who all work with bilingual children.

Children?s use of mobile devices is constantly increasing and has become very popular withchildren as young as toddlers. Schools in Sweden have made large investments to expand theuse of information technology (IT), and the use of mobile devices in preschools is already acommon support tool for learning. Children?s use of IT is a relatively new phenomenon,which means that is it also a relatively new area of research.

LENGTH OF STAY IN PRESCHOOLA qualitative study based on nine pre-school teachers.

The purpose of this study is to explore how preschool teachers succeed in their mission to conduct work that will enhance children's interest and knowledge in technology. The study was conducted by qualitative semi-structured interviews among eight teachers at seven preschools in the same municipality. The method was chosen because I wanted to get as detailed and full answers as possible. I also wanted to find out their individual perceptions. The result shows that most of the teachers think that they have insufficient knowledge to practically work with technology. At the same time they?re expressing that technology is a broad area that sometimes is a little more complicated than it needs to be.

The aim of this study is to describe successful strategies to include children in free play activities at the preschool. The methods that pedagogues use to act and work with excluded children will be examined. To get answers to my questions I have conducted interviews with five pedagogues in four preschools. During interviews they mention two different approaches to encourage free play activity. One way was to participate and play along with the children.

Varje dag utförs riskbedömningar inom rättspsykiatri och kriminalvård. Syftet meddenna uppsats är att undersöka det vetenskapliga underlaget för riskbedömningar.Uppsatsen inleds med en kort beskrivning av i vilka sammanhang riskbedömningaranvänds och den traditionella uppfattningen av hur området och instrumenten harutvecklats. Sedan följer en genomgång av olika studier som behandlarbedömningarnas träffsäkerhet generellt samt mellan olika generationer avbedömningar. Därnäst redovisas och framförs kritik mot validiteten i PsychopathyChecklist Revised (PCL-R, Hare, 1991) och dess tillämpning inom riskbedömningar.Avslutningsvis analyseras psykopatibegreppet utifrån Ian Hackings teorier om?human kinds? och ?loopingeffekter? och det förs en kort diskussion av tänkbarakonsekvenser av och farhågor kring användningen av PCL-R och psykopatibegreppetgenerellt..

This study aims to seek knowledge about what preschool teachers think about gender issues, and if it affects their work. The study has been performed in a multicultural district in Stockholm. A working party of three teachers, one male and two females, has been interviewed and observed. The empirical material from the interviews and observations has then been analyzed based on theories about gender, femaleness, maleness and cultural behaviour. The result proves that one of the three teachers considers that there are general typical female and male behaviour.

Vårt syfte var att studera begreppet interkulturellt förhållningssätt och undersöka hur det uppfattas av olika aktörer i förskoleverksamheten i den mångkulturella Stockholmsförorten Vantör. Vi har utgått från ett socialkonstruktivistiskt perspektiv, och utifrån detta tittat på fyra olika delar som vi anser vara viktiga för ett interkulturellt förhållningssätt. De fyra vi valt att titta på är, fysisk och psykisk miljö, språk, barns identitet och föräldrar. Vi har även gjort en kvalitativ undersökning, där vi har intervjuat människor med olika roller i förskoleverksamheten i Vantör. Vi ville höra deras tolkning av begreppet interkulturellt förhållningssätt, och vad de ansåg var viktigt för att få detta att fungera.

According to the immigration service forecasts Sweden faces large refugee influxes in the coming years. This means that educators in the kindergarten, preschool and school, will meat children from the war torn countries. In this study, the purpose is to find out the educators different conceptions of war-affected refugee children, because my theory is that their beliefs influence their actions. I wanted to get answers to their beliefs about the difficulties or challengers that children and educators may be faced with. Furthermore, I wanted to know what educators envisioned about their own role?s importance to the war affected refugee children and their perceptions of the Swedish culture, environment, language and school.
