Konsekvenser av energimodellerad arkitektur
The interest in building low energy houses has increased along with the rising engagement inthe climate questions. With the advancing energy prices it is highly suitably for those whobuild and administer their buildings in long-term to build energy-saving houses. 40 % ofSweden?s total energy consumption constitutes of the energy in residences, therefore it iscrucial to take advantage of all the free energy as we possibly can. With crucial questions likequality of living and profit low energy building is a subject that concerns us all.Three proposals for apartment blocks are presented in this work on a real estate in Stockholm.Each proposal is developed through unique processes of design with the purpose to displaypossibilities to deal with the energy requirements of today and tomorrow through energybased architecture.The first proposal is an apartment block based on a traditional design process, the demands ofthe property owner and it?s affected by opinions from architects.

DataWarehouse which is a central part of Business Intelligence can be built in severalways but the methods presented by Ralph Kimball and Bill Inmons are considered thetwo main methods. The solution provided by Inmon focuses on integrating the entirebusiness into one large database using relational database development. Kimballhowever proposes dimensional database modeling by creating one or more data martsand integrating these using a data bus. Previous research has shown that the quality ofa Data Warehouse can be measured through critical factors such as data quality andsystem quality.

En central del i ett systemutvecklingsprojekt är de tekniker som används för att strukturera organisationer och informationen i dessa. I flera årtionden har traditionella tekniker utvecklats. Exempel på tekniker som anses traditionella är ER-modellering och dataflödesdiagram. Idag används objektorienterade programspråk mer och mer för att implementera databaser. Det har dock inte funnits stöd för att analysera ett system objektorienterat förrän i början på 1990-talet.
Värdering av anbud vid kommunala upphandlingar av byggprojekt
The thesis deals with evaluation of tenders for communal construction procurement. Each year the public procurement equals the value of millions of Swedish kronors, of which construction projects makes up a large proportion. These projects tend to often exceed their budgets. The aim with the thesis is to investigate if there are faults in the tender evaluation process. The theoretical framework for the study partly consists of a review on how the communal evaluation work is described in law and practice.
Grammar teaching - to be or not to be, that is the question : En kvalitativ studie om grammatikundervisningens plats i språkundervisning i grundskolans tidigare år
???This research traces the trajectory of those methods of teaching grammar that five different teachers in Swedish from Stockholm municipality use in their practice. ?Their both constructive and negative attitudes towards grammar were in fokus when looking after the connection between their own experience of learning/teaching native language grammar and the methods that they are actually using in their own classes. I was trying to gain knowledge and achieve the purpose of this research by means of a qualitativ method.
Användarfall ur ett spårbarhetsperspektiv
I detta arbete har en undersökning genomförts angående hur spårbarhet upprätthålls vid användning av användarfall. Rapporten behandlar spårbarhet och användarfall separat för att belysa viktiga fakta inom båda områdena. Syftet med arbetet var att ta reda på hur olika tillvägagångssätt för att representera användarfall upprätthöll spårbarhet mellan olika krav, och mellan krav och dess ursprung. Informationen inom problemområdet samlades in genom en litteraturstudie. I undersökningen identifierades flera olika typer av spårbarhet, vilka sedan låg till underlag för identifiering av spårbarhet i användarfall.

Estimation of the variation in the integrated hydraulic conductivity around the Tunåsen infiltration facility - An investigation of the effects of uncertainties in existing informationAlmost half of Sweden?s drinking water volume is produced from groundwater. The main fraction of this is extracted from eskers, some of which allow for very large extraction rates. Despite this, the groundwater volume is not sufficient in some areas. This has led to an extensive use of artificial recharge.In Uppsala, the total volume added through artificial recharge is divided between four infiltration facilities.
BIM på Trafikverket : Förslag till en utvidgad investeringsprocess
2013 a decision was made that all projects at the Swedish Transport Administration shoulduse BIM (Building Information Modeling) to some extent from 2015. BIM is an approachthat allows for streamlining of projects by the use of a 3D-model created in an early stage ofthe project. The 3D-model can carry information about the facility throughout its life cyclefrom planning to management. The use of a 3D-model can help the project to detect errors inearly stages of the project when it is easy and cheap to fix the error instead of finding theerror in the construction phase when it is costly and time consuming to fix it. 3D-models alsolead to improved communication both within the project groups and with the public.
Association between animal-based measures and register-based welfare indicators in dairy cows : a study of the advisory service "Ask the Cow" and the web report "Animal Welfare Signals"
Animal welfare can be measured in several different ways; for example by using animal-based measurements. It has been shown that register data from the Swedish Official Milk Recording Scheme can be helpful when identifying herds at risk of having poor animal welfare, which led to a development of the advisory service of ?Ask the Cow? and the web report ?Animal Welfare Signals?. The aim of this project was to find out if register data from ?Animal Welfare Signals? can be used as a screening tool for detecting herds at risk of having poor animal welfare and in need of an ?Ask the Cow?.
Representativitet av snödjup vid marktemperaturmätningar under snö för permafrostmodellering i området kring Tarfaladalen, norra Sverige
Snö och permafrost är två interagerande komponenter i Kryosfären. Studien undersökersnödjupets representativitet vid marktemperaturmätningar under snötäcket (BTS) föridentifiering av permafrost i Tarfala, norra Sverige. Snödjupsmätningar har utfördes itvå korsande 20 m transekter i nordsydlig (NS) samt östvästlig (ÖV) riktning utifrån enBTS-punkt. Totalt har 37 BTS (snödjup > 80 cm) med tillhörande snödjupsmätningarregistrerats och analyserats. Snödjupet varierar både lokalt kring mätpunkten ochregionalt i mättransekter men är ändå ett representativt snödjup för en punkt.Representativa BTS, sett ur ett snödjupsperspektiv, bör registreras på platser medmåttlig snödjupsvariation som på platser med homogent markunderlag, vindskyddadeområden, lä bakom ryggar och sluttningar vinkelräta mot den dominerandevindriktningen.BTS provplatser bör också ta hänsyn till de mest förekommande klasserna avparametrarna altitud, sluttning och slutningsriktning för att erhålla representativa BTS.Detta baserat på jämförelse mellan två strategier för insamling av BTS genompermafrostmodellering mellan två dataset.
Användning av BIM-modeller vid kommunikation mellan olika parter
Trafikverket vill ta reda på hur de skaimplementera BIM (Building information modeling) som ett arbetssätt i sinorganisation vid projektering, byggande och förvaltning. Syftet med det härexamensarbetet är att ta reda på hur Trafikverket kommunicerar med BIM-modelleridag och hur man kan utvecklas.Det är få människor i anläggningsbranschen som idag har erfarenhet av att arbeta med BIM. Även i de projekt som jobbar med BIM idag så behövs det alltid en BIM-samordnare som håller i trådarna. För att få ett bra slutresultat så måste kommunikationen i ett projekt fungera bra. En förutsättning för detta är att alla inblandade parter har samma mål med projektet, t.ex.
Inferno Shield : Konstruktion av avtryckare med sladd
This thesis was performed at Indusec ABin Stockholm. Indusec AB is a companythat develops security solutions.Together with the Police of Sweden theyhave gotten the assignment to develop anapplication based on one of theiralready existing product Inferno soundbarrier. This application is supposed tobe mounted on a ballistic shield thatthe police use, the application consistsof a speaker box (the sound barrier) anda trigger with wire. The trigger withwire is the part that will be addressedin this thesis. The application willthen be used as a tool to surprise atarget at various skirmishes.The project consists of three majorphases, pre-study, concept generationand modeling.
A comparison of two certification schemes for dairy cow welfare in relation to resource-based, management-based and animal-based measures
Traditionally risk-based measures have been used to assess animal welfare in legislation and certification schemes. With increased knowledge and research, debate today tends to focus on and advocate the use of animal-based measures. However this is not a panacea for welfare and the most sound conclusion should be that assessment of animal welfare needs both. The aim of this thesis is to identify the points that need to be taken into consideration to find the optimal balance in the use of input and outcome measures according to the aim of the assessment and how these should be applied when designing a certification scheme? To answer this, a comparison of the use of resource-based, management-based and animal-based measures in two certification schemes for dairy cow welfare, Freedom Food (UK) and Svenskt Sigill (SWE), was made.
