CSR is a far reaching concept and practice, whose popularity and diffusion has increased rapidly in recent years. Research indicates that CSR has made an evolutionary journey from primarily being characterized by reactiveness to develop into a risk minimizing and proactive competitive advantage and should be looked upon as an answer to heightened societal pressure and awareness. Based on a review regarding different relevant theoretical perspectives, this master thesis discusses CSR as a concept and practical matter in relation to various strategically chosen representatives of a selection of professions.Moreover, the data were collected through in-depth semi structured interviews. The findings show that CSR is a contemporary and highly context dependent phenomenon whose inherent multiplicity brings a distinct aspect of uncertainty to it, in terms of both meaning and practice. And in some parts there is a reluctance to communicate CSR due to a fear of missing out of important aspects.

Arbetets syfte var att undersöka hur lärare använder miniräknaren i sin undervisning men även hur eleverna använder den och om det finns några skillnader i attityder och användning mellan elever och lärare. Undersökningen gick också ut på att se om användandet har ökat eller minskat i gymnasieskolan. Arbetet syftade också till att undersöka om det finns några skillnader mellan tjejer och killars attityder till miniräknaren och tjejer och killars användning av den. En lärarenkät och en elevenkät delades ut på fem olika skolor och dessa låg till grund för undersökningen. Resultatet pekar på en ökad användning, en mer positiv attityd till miniräknaren hos gymnasielärarna och att alla lärare, i någon form, tar hänsyn till miniräknaren vid prov.

This has been a practical innovation graduation project withthe focus of studying the impacts of downsizing on a learningorganization. The study took place at Karlsson Spools in Sala.This has been a part of an ongoing EU project funded by theEuropean Social Fund, ESF. We have, with the help ofinterviews and surveys, gathered information on the presentsituation and with the help of theoretical studies built aframework on how a learning organization is viewed intheory.During our study we found that there are many componentsto a learning organization. The company in question hasdisplayed some qualities that characterize a learningorganization such as a plan to train and further develop theiremployees. The problem we found was lack of communicationand how this has resulted in a less successful outcome of theongoing courses.

This report is a thesis work for a B.Sc. in Forestry exam at the School for Forest Engineers, SLU. The aim of the work was to compare fuel consumption during work in practical field conditions with a standardized method developed by Skogforsk (The Forestry Research Institute of Sweden), (Brunberg, 2005) for harvesters and forwarders from different manufacturers and of different sizes in order to promote the development of more fuel efficient machines. Two studies were carried out. - Statistics of fuel consumption were collected. - An inquiry was sent out in order to get more detailed information of different aspects influencing the fuel consumption. The studied machines were divided into two classes, large machines (> 150 kW), and average size machines (100 ? 150 kW), and of the manufacturer Timberjack and Valmet. Our results shows a 15 % lower fuel consumption for average size harvesters and an 8 % higher fuel consumption for large harvesters compared with Skogforsks model.

An inquiring study of literature has been conducted, about the human colour perception (theimpression of colours). The colour has been examined, both as conscious and subconscious signal,and reasons for it?s influence have been exammed.The practical parts of the degree project have been carried out in active collaboration with thecustomer, The Association Hedemora Assistansservice (HASS), which offers handicapped persons astimulating spare time by personal assistance. A graphical profile-programme and an informationfolderhave been produced, easy received by both handicapped (with defective vision) and normallysighted persons. The graphical profile-programme was made in collaboration with the customer.Concerning the information-folder HASS took the main responsibility for the choice of photographswhile layout, text writing, colour-reproduction, original-production and connecting printing workswere made independently.

Nätverk med stöd av Internetportaler skulle kunna vara en bra lösning på delar av föreningars kundhanteringsproblem. Det möjliggör skapandet av ökat mervärde på sponsorernas satsade kapital samtidigt som det kan generera ett ökat socialt kapital för de involverade aktörerna. Detta sociala kapital skulle sedan kunna omvandlas till ekonomiskt kapital i en förlängning. Det är dock så att satsningen kräver en del resurser från föreningens sida och ett brinnande engagemang för att fungera tillfredsställande. Föreningen kan dock vinna mycket då nätverket kan skapa en större sammanhållning mellan förening och sponsorer vilket borde öka långsiktigheten i sponsorernas engagemang.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the forest managers view of the edu-cation at the School for Forest management at SLU and the first years of em-ployment. Surveys were sent to batches 05/08, 06/09 and 07/10 a total of 136 question-naires were sent out. 80 people answered the survey, this gives a response rate of 59 percent The former students rated according to a 9-grade scale how satisfied they were with the different courses they had attended during their years as students at the school. The courses in mathematics and statistics got the highest marks with an average of 7.3, while the entry-level course in law only got an average of 4.6. A major part of the former students had in the questionnaire enquired a leader-ship course and a business course with focus on negotiation techniques during their education. There is a wide variety of employment opportunities for the graduated students. Timber buyers and forest managers or planners are just a few positions that for-mer students now possess. The study shows that there is a big difference in the first introduction to a new work place depending on where the student got hired.

Denna uppsats grundar sig i en kvalitativ studie som behandlat fallgropar som återfinns inom projektstyrningen i IT-projekt. Att IT-projekt ofta framställs som över tid och budget och därmed som misslyckade var ett intressant fenomen som vi ville titta närmare på. Vårt fokus låg på själva projektstyrningen av projektet och av den anledningen uteslöts faktorer som utvecklingsmetod eller designaspekter i projektet. Vårt syfte med studien var att undersöka varför IT-projekt inte når framgång ur ett projektstyrningsperspektiv och vår centrala frågeställning var vilken inverkan har projektstyrningens fallgropar på ett IT-projekts framgångar? För att besvara vår uppställda frågeställning utfördes en litteraturstudie där vi tittade på förändring i organisationer, motstånd mot förändring samt de fallgropar som kan återfinnas vid projektstyrningen av ett IT-projekt.

Användningen av mobila tjänster har ökat kraftigt de senaste åren, inte bara med privata abonnemang utan även vid användning med företagsmobiler. Vår undersökning syftar till att öka förståelsen för användande av SMS och MMS inom Svenska storföretag. Den modell vi utarbetat som stöd beskriver spridningen av SMS och MMS i organisationer. Den del av modellen vi undersöker behandlar innovationen, dess attribut och hur den brukas i företagen. Vi har intervjuat 20 representanter från 50 av Sveriges största företag om hur de använder teknologierna i sin kontakt med anställda och samarbetspartners samt vilka för- och nackdelar de ser med teknologierna.

Några av de ändringar som gjordes 2011 i läroplanen för gymnasieskolan var att vektorer lades in i det centrala innehållet för ämnesplanen Matematik 1c. Denna studie behandlar utformandet av uppgifter som testar elevers förståelse för vektorbegreppet där urvalet omfattar gymnasieelever som har läst eller läste kursen Matematik 1c inom perioden för uppsatsen. Metoden som användes var semistrukturerade intervjuer där uppgifterna agerade frågor och eleven fick svara på följdfrågor så att tankebanor, funderingar och hinder skulle kunna observeras.Svaren som eleverna har gett på de uppgifterna har skapat ett brett spektrum av olika svar, en svarsrymd. Denna svarsrymd har sedermera blivit svarsalternativen till det slutliga test som studien har arbetat fram. Testet har således beprövade uppgifter som är skapade med en rad olika områ-den som utgångspunkter.

Studiens syfte var att undersöka hur lärare ser på sambandet mellan läsförmåga och matematiksvårigheter. Aktuella rapporter visar att elevers läsförmåga har försämrats samtidigt som matematiksvårigheterna har ökat. Viss forskning pekar på ett samband mellan dessa två ämnesområden. En halvstrukturerad intervjumetod med fenomenologisk ansats användes och totalt intervjuades fyra erfarna lärare. De intervjuade hade alla mångårig erfarenhet av elevers läs- skriv- och matematikinlärning i ett brett register från förskoleklass till högskolenivå.

The purpose has been to investigate leisure-time centers actual work on children with attention deficit disorder. In addition, the study strives to make leisure-time centers way of working, in relation to their assignments, visible. The study has also compared how the leisure-time centers work and what the research says. The survey was conducted with the help of three exploratory interviews with pedagogues and three-piece observations at the leisure-time centers. It was carried out at three different schools in two counties in Sweden.The results of the survey show that the schools are trying to create clear procedures, though the centers succeed with this in varied degrees.

The aim for this study is to investigate how the cooperation between teachers from nine-years compulsory school and comprehensive upper secondary school is organized in a Swedish municipality, based on the formulation in the Swedish curriculum. My idea is to see how the cooperation is organized, when it comes to information about pupils who haven?t passed the qualifications to upper secondary school, especially in Mathematics.Lennart Lundquist?s basic ideas about the qualities of the one who is guided, in this case the teacher, underlie my study when it comes to the directions from the school board.I carried out my study in a Swedish municipality, where I interviewed teachers at two different compulsory schools and one upper secondary school. I also let the school board become a part of my study, as they received a minor questionnaire.The results of my study points out that there is much to be done when it comes to cooperation between the teachers from different school levels. The interviewed teachers points out that they lack knowledge about each other and they ask for more physical meetings to start cooperation.

The purpose of my essay is to see how teachers are working to integrate the two subjects Art and Swedish in their teaching, and to see how this integration is made. What do teachers think about subject-integration? What are the positive effects of it? Are there any difficulties involved? Do the teachers prioritize cooperation with other subjects?To answer my questions I have interviewed eight teachers, four of them in upper secondary school and four in lower secondary school. I have also studied literature about subject-integration and children?s learning, curriculum?s and syllabi in the subjects of Art and Swedish.The results of my study show that the interviewed teachers are positive when it comes to integrating Art and Swedish and other subjects.

I en allt mer krympande värld, måste organisationer lära sig att snabbt reagera på marknadsförändringar. Medan organisationer blir bättre på att införa nya affärsprocesser, kvarstår problemet med en tungrodd och svårföränderlig IT?miljö. Det hela görs inte bättre av att organisationer blir mer och mer beroende av sin IT?infrastruktur.
