Africa is expected to go through a rapid urbanization over the next four decades and the demand for food is increasing in the rapidly growing urban and peri-urban (UPU) areas. Keeping livestock in urban areas is in particular associated with health hazards. This is due to close interaction between humans and animals, and it has been shown that zoonotic diseases are increasing in urban areas. The benefits of urban and peri-urban agriculture (UPA) are related to improved food security, in particular among low-income groups. Apart from the negative public health impact of zoonotic diseases, animal disease could have a devastating impact on the economy and food security of many households in these areas. In the present study, three important endemic diseases, including brucellosis, salmonellosis and Bovine viral diarrhea (BVD), were analyzed in regard to seroprevalence and risk factors.

Variations in fertility have caused a problematic situation in Sweden among other European countries. According to the Council of Europe we are facing an economic and demographic challenge, when the baby boomers of the 1940?s are retiring. Economists have for a long time studied the connection between economic factors and fertility, and several studies have found a correlation between business cycles and birth rates. In this essay, I analyze the syllabus for Swedish with specific regard to literature teaching. I identify three different perspectives which carries seperate implications. First, a text-centered perspective, which tends to position the importance of the text as a part of a tradition. However, this seems to distance the reading from the reader, and place the importance of the reading event outside the student. The consequence might be that the student employs an instrumental reading which simply responds to a pre-set idea of meaning.

These three special exposures are fridge, fridge with a sign and sign. The purpose of the study is to test which of these three special exposures that have the greatest impact on sales.

Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet med studien är att göra en målgruppundersökning samt att utifrån den utveckla föreningens arbete med marknadskommunikation mot den aktuella målgruppen. En förbättrad kommunikation med målgruppen skall förhoppningsvis leda till ökat intresse och större publik på hemmamatcherna. Följande frågeställningar har behandlats: Hur uppfattar målgruppen Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC (i fortsättningen förkortat KGFC) budskap? Vilken attityd och vilket beteende kännetecknar målgruppen? Hur skapar KGFC ett ökat intresse hos målgruppen? Vilka kanaler skall KGFC främst satsa på? Hur kan KGFC utveckla sin marknadskommunikation mot målgruppen? MetodVi har använt oss av en kvalitativ metod med stora kvantitativa inslag. Exempel på kvantitativa inslag är en enkätundersökning på föreningens primära målgrupp (tjejer 8-16 år). Till grund för arbetet ligger enkätundersökningen och en intervju med sportchefen Lars Svensson samt befintlig litteratur inom marknadsföring och kommunikation. ResultatSom resultat har vi fått fram att KGFCs budskap är otydligt för målgruppen, att KGFCs främsta kanal för att kommunicera är hemsidan samt att målgruppen har begränsad kunskap om föreningen.

Problem. Sponsorship has increased continuously during the 21st century, however, at the same time the public interest of traditional promotion has been diminishing. The meaning of sponsorship is a very diffuse and therefore the concept needs to be investigated. Due to the multitude of sponsorship and its impreciseness about its financial value, it is difficult to evaluate sponsorship for companies, especially when there is a difficulty in choosing a decent method for evaluation.Purpose. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the concept of sponsorship, motives for sponsorship and evaluation of sponsorship according to the theory and give empirical examples of how these areas are being managed by companies.Method.

EU:s utsläppshandel inleddes i januari 2005 och omfattar ca 1300 anläggningar inom industri och energi produktion. Terminer på utsläppsrätter introducerades i april 2005 och i samband med det öppnades European Climate Exchange som idag är den ledande och mest likvida marknadsplatsen för handel med utsläppsrätter i Europa och internationellt. I enlighet med hur aktiepriser påverkas av utomstående faktorer generellt på aktiemarknader vill författarna undersöka om priserna på utsläppsrätter påverkas av en utomstående faktor.Syfte: Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur priset på utsläppsrätter på ECX spotmarknad reagerar på klimatmötet i Köpenhamn samt om marknaden för utsläppsrätter är effektiv.Metod: Genom att använda finansiella marknadsdata kan en eventstudie mäta vilka följder ett specifikt event har på det undersökta objektet. För att kunna värdera hur eventet påverkar priset på utsläppsrätter tillämpas en uträkning av den abnorma avkastningen, vilket är den verkliga avkastningen minus den normala avkastningen under eventfönstret.Teoretisk referensram: Det teoretiska angreppssättet kommer att utgöras av den effektiva marknadshypotesen.

The tick-borne disease bovine anaplasmosis is primarily caused by Anaplasma marginale. A variety of wild animals act as reservoirs for A. marginale, but the understanding of their role in the epidemiology of A. marginale is yet poor. This cross-sectional study was conducted to establish if proximity of wildlife affect the prevalence of bovine anaplasmosis in cattle.

Denna uppsats handlar om Hallandspostens och Skånska Dagbladets nedskrivna redaktionella policyer för nyhetsjournalistiken. Uppsatsen tar sin utgångspunkt i tre grundfrågor. Vad innehåller policyerna och varför existerar de? Vilken relation till policyerna finns hos chefredaktörer, redaktions- och nyhetschefer samt journalister? Hur väl följer tidningarna sina policyer? Dessa frågor besvarades genom att policydokumenten noggrant analyserades samt att samtalsintervjuer med medarbetarna genomfördes. En kvantitativ innehållsanalys gjordes för att jämföra policydokumentens innehåll med respektive tidnings nyhetsmaterial.

Adapting the concept of the ?popular cultural memory? and its necessary ?context knowledge? established by Karin Kukkonen, this bachelor thesis seeks to examine how this memory is ?at work? and expresses itself in contemporary fiction, by doing an intertextual reading of the swedish author Amanda Svensson's debut Hey Dolly. Within the intertextual structures of Hey Dolly the reader encounters allusions and references that address almost everything from contemporary popular culture to established authors in the swedish canon, mainly as means for the characters to help them express their emotions and thoughts, by ?choosing? from already available content of popular culture to use and modify. The intertextuality alluding to the popular cultural memory does at the same time address the concept of the ideal reader throughout the novel.

Swedish agriculture faces future challenges regarding food production and land use. Increased competition for agricultural land creates complex situations, where conflicts may arise when productive crop land is in demand not only for food production but also energy- and fodder production. On top of that there is an obvious conflict of goals between agricultural production and non-agricultural exploitation of agricultural land. In several emerging economic regions it is noticeable how agricultural land is being expropriated for development of urban settlement and infrastructure, carrying potentially significant long-term effects. During the last decade the exploitation of agricultural land in activities other than food production has increased in Sweden and is expected to continue in the same manor. Approximately 700 hectare of land in Sweden is diverted from food production, annually, and in 2013, the Uppsala Municipality showed the greatest change in land use of all municipalities (SCB, 2013).

Social and emotional learning is getting more and more common to work with in Swedish schools today. That has made it more actual to do studies of how you best can implement a method in health prevention and promotion in schools and how you do for to keep the work sustainable. There are some American studies that describe implementation of methods in schools and a few studies that describe implementation of methods for social and emotional learning in schools. It is important to see implementation as a process and not as an individual event. The process never end but continues as a cycle in three phases; readiness phase, planning phase and implementation phase.The aim of this study was to describe teachers and principals experiences of obstacles and possibilities at implementation of an evidence based program for social an emotional learning in compulsory school as a part of the schools health promotion activities.
