This report is regarding an electrical installation of an alarm system on a post fishingboat called Andromeda. The background of the installation was an earlier andinadequate alarm system that led to a motor failure. The ship was taken out of serviceand was sold to Björn Magndahl who rebuilt it to a yacht.The project was conducted partly by developing the existing systems, partly bydocumenting the work by means of electrical blue prints. Except the alarm systems, aninstallation of the frequency control unit for the bow thruster was installed.The installation was working fine and the outcome of the documentation was handedover in a form of a binder during the test drive of the systems and the assignment wasapproved..

With a larger awareness of the climate changes and increasing electricity prices, energy efficiency measures in the industry have become more common. By rationalize the activity and by the same time decrease the emission of greenhouse gases the company can both save money and reduce negative environmental impact. For the Swedish industries the electricity price have traditional been relative low, which has resulted in a considerable larger usage than other European countries. By a deregulation of the European electricity market the electricity price will level off between the countries, which will cause a higher electricity price in Sweden than we are use to. To prevent that the Swedish industry don?t lose competitiveness against the other European countries, it will require energy efficiency activities in all different forms.ABB Sweden has decided to decrease their total energy usage with five percent in two years.

The idea for the project emerged when Nilorn wanted to get better control over their supplychain and improve operational efficiency. The company also want to reduce their expenses inthe continuous process of improving profitability. By choosing the right option oftransportation and mode of transport there are large potential savings for the company. Dagkirurgi blir allt vanligare inom den operativa verksamheten. Syftet med studien var att undersöka patientens upplevelser av dagkirurgi i relation till den pre-och postoperativa kontakten med operationssjuksköterskan. I resultatet framkom de två huvudkategorierna: Information och upplevelse som i sin tur resulterade i två underrubriker: Underlättande och försvårande information samt bekräftande och icke bekräftande upplevelse. Patientens och personalens förmåga till kommunikation är betydande vid förberedelserna inför ett operativt ingrepp och den kan företrädesvis utföras per telefon. Bristande kommunikation kan vara ångestskapande.

The defence unit´s archive stretches over a time limit between the middle of 1971 to the end of 1987. The records the archive mainly contains are concerning the civil defence, inspection and construction of shelters, war- and crisis planning. The majority of the records are registered record, as often is the case with an authority?s archives. The main problems that occurred concerned what should or shouldn´t be public, the principle of provenance and what to prioritize; finish the project before deadline or make sure the records are prepared for a storage that ideally should last for several lifetimes..

The objective of this project is to study how two asperger units, one at a junior school and one at a senior-level school are carrying at their work. I have interviewed one pedagouge at each unit to find out how they organize the education at the units and how they work to develop the students' social skills based on the students' functional handicap. The interviews showed that the following factors are providing the foundation for the pedagouges' work with the students: knowledge of the Asperger syndrome and the symptoms shown by each individual, the pedagouges being explicit and well structured as a professional and as adult combined with him/her being humble and showing respect towards the students and self reflection.Keywords: Asperger syndrome, functional handicap, social interaction, attitude..

MobileReader är en mobil RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) applikation. Syftet med denna applikation är att skapa en RFID-läsare som skall gå att bära med sig ute på fältet. I första hand kommer läsaren att kunna läsa passiva RFID-taggar på Lågfrekvens-bandet (LF) samt att vara anpassad för nyare mobiltelefoner av tillverkaren Sony Ericsson. Detta examensarbete resulterade i ett program avsett för en Atmel ATmega16 mikroprocessor. Mikroprocessorn tar emot data från en befintlig LF-läsare via ett protokoll vid namn Wiegand 44.

Hos äldre som vårdas på sjukhus efter en operation är delirium en vanlig komplikation. Tidigare studier visar att postoperativt delirium resulterar i förlängd sjukhusvistelse och ökad mortalitet. Syftet med studien var att beskriva omvårdnad i samband med postoperativt delirium. Metoden var en litteraturstudie byggd på 17 artiklar ur databaserna CINAHL och Medline. Studien genomfördes enligt en modifierad version av Polit och Becks (2012) modell för litteraturstudier.

Bakgrund: Ett förekommande problem i dagens sjukvård är otillräcklig smärtlindring postoperativt. Smärta är en individuell subjektiv upplevelse, vilket medför att den är svår att bedöma. Syfte: Syftet var att belysa postoperativ smärtbedömning ur ett sjuksköterskeperspektiv. Metod: Studien utfördes som en litteraturstudie med tio kvalitativa vetenskapliga artiklar. Vid analysförfarandet användes en kvalitativ manifest innehållsanalys.

Background: To wait on an emergency department is a reflected and well-documented problem. Thou it´s mainly due to a patient perspective should also nurses' perspectives be significant to obtain a faceted perception of the phenomenon.Aim: The purpose of this study was to describe how nurses perceive the phenomenon of anticipation of a somatic emergency department.Method: The analysis was performed using a phenomenological approach. The study was conducted in a medium-sized hospital in southern Sweden, during the latter part of 2005, and had a qualitative approach based on a lifeworld perspective. Data collection consisted of written stories from twelve nurses.Results: The results indicated that the waiting was the scene of the expectations. These expectations led to dilemmas, powerlessness and frustration, the more the phenomenon was allowed to stand.

Smärta är ett vanligt förekommande symtom hos de patienter sjuksköterskan vårdar. Att lindra smärtupplevelsen är en av sjuksköterskans huvuduppgifter. Utöver sedvanlig behandling mot smärta finns komplementära metoder sjuksköterskan kan använda sig av. Taktil massage, en form av mjukmassage, är en metod som kan användas för att lindra smärta. Syftet med denna kandidatuppsats är att belysa vid vilka olika smärttillstånd sjuksköterskan kan använda taktil massage som en omvårdnadsåtgärd vid smärta.

Shivering är ett fenomen som uppstår hos patienterna postoperativt. Det innebär att patienten har okontrollerbara muskelskälvningar som gör att patienten darrar, skälver eller huttrar i mer än 15 sekunder. Shivering påverkar kroppen negativt, men är också obehagligt och ett onödigt lidande för patienten. I takt med den tekniska utvecklingen utarbetas nya operationstekniker och idag utförs flera operationer med laparoskopisk teknik. Pilotstudiens syfte var att undersöka före-komsten av postoperativ shivering hos patienter som opererats med laparoskopisk teknik.

An automatic milking (AM) system should be combined with some form of controlled cow traffic to minimize the time spend on fetching cows to milking and to increase the milking frequency. By restricting the hours spent on pasture per day you optimise the AM system use during pasture period. A reason for this is becuase cows do not return to the stable for milking during night which cause that the milking unit stands empty those hours. In organic production it is required that the cows should be able to graze a certain amount of daily dry matter (DM) intake on the pasture. In the county of Dalarna where the farm is located the yield of the pasture is about 3000 kg DM per grazing season and hectar.This means that the pasture area should be 14,25 hectare to 57 milking cows.
