Forest enterprises have always searched for ways to improve efficiency. For the past few years there has been an emphasis on stock-keeping levels. Increased demand for fresh round timber and the need to decrease the amount of tied-up capital has made the forest industry reduce its inventory levels. This has brought on a higher demand on the timber supply from the forest management districts concerning both delivery in time and assortment output. As a result, the flow of timber has fluctuated a lot with serious consequence for the timber supply during 1994.

There are no general working processes that can stand for how all the investment process is preceded in the organization of major Swedish banks. It is not a question of investment process but rather a question of, investment processes. How these investment processes operates depends totally on the type and size of the current investment, which unit that is operating the processes and what situation the bank currently finds itself in. There is a written form that describes how the different processes should be operated and which capital budget models that should be used but the usage of these forms can be questioned.

The break up of the family unit leads to new living arrangements and significant changes for children. This can be an extremely upsetting experience for a child, especially if the child is old enough to understand what is happening. New living arrangements can effect a childs fundamental sense of security as well as having consequences later on in life. The object of this research paper was to examine how a group of seven people (children from split families who are now adults), interpreted and described their childhood in relation to the living arrangements they grew up with after the breakdown of the family unit. The main question areas we have examined are: How have the interviewee's living arrangements during childhood affected their understanding of themselves today? In what way has the adult's present day lifestyle been influenced by the split up of the family that they grew up with - using their own words? How do the children from split families describe and interpret concepts such as family and marriage, based on their own experiences? Our research was conducted with the help of seven people from split families who are now adults and who experienced different types of split family arrangements as a child ? permanent residence with mother/father or alternate living with both parents.

Abstract:This thesis work has been conducted at the Real Estate Department in Halmstad.The department consists of a construction/project management-unit and an operation/management-unit.Like many other towns in Sweden, Halmstad has had a long lasting problem with indoor environment. Not at least at their preschools.Today they are constructing from current building regulations. They have learned from negative experiences which have occurred in the indoor environment in older buildings.Focus is now on healthy materials, like low emission value, energy efficiency and optimization of the building, but still with soft parameters such as cleaning, interior and choice of materials.The fixtures is provides by the real estate department and the furnishings are provides by the children and youth administration. Together they are trying to provide a great indoor environment.I have, together with the real estate department and the children and youth administration of Halmstad, investigated how to provide a good indoor environment in the preschools with small funds.In my thesis there is one theoretical part with a questionnaire survey of how the preschool staff is experiencing their indoor environment to determine where the problems often start. And a practical part with measurements to try and come down to a result that analysis the cause of the problems and also to make sure that the ventilation systems are fulfilling projected values.The measurements and the questionnaire surveys was made at Lokes preschool in Frösakull, Askens preschool in Oskarström and Gullbrandstorps preschool.There were some differences between the staff-responses at the three different preschools.At Askens preschool they feel that the premises are cleaned poorly.At Gullbrandstorps preschool they feel that the indoor-air is bad because they can´t open the windows.

Alla patienter som genomgår någon typ av operation där man penetrerar huden har en ökad risk att drabbas av en postoperativ sårinfektion. Syftet var att utforska de preoperativa åtgärderna huddesinfektion och hårborttagning relaterat till uppkomsten av postoperativa sårinfektioner. Metoden var en systematisk litteratur studie där nio artiklar användes som underlag. Resultatet visade att klorhexidin reducerar bakterierna på huden, men ingen signifikant minskning av antalet postoperativa sårinfektioner kunde påvisas. Av hårborttagningsmetoderna rakhyvel, rakapparat och hårborttagningskräm ger rakhyvel upphov till fler små sår..

The occupational group who works in the care of older people in Sweden is an exposed group since the work is often defined as a strenuous profession, both physical and psychically, and this puts comparatively many workers on sick leave. To promote good health, as well as prevent bad health is the main purpose of the work environment development. The attitude of the care manager towards work environment development may have a significant impact on the co-workers health. The purpose of the study was to investigate the attitude of care managers towards work environment development and the co-workers work environment and in the same time get knowledge in what issues they have a salutary approach respectively a pathological approach. Empirics were gathered from semi-structured interviews with six care managers from the care of older people administration in municipality of Kalmar.

Information till patienter är en viktig del av anestesisjuksköterskans arbete och betydelsen av patientinformation som omvårdnadsåtgärd har ökat kraftigt de senaste åren på grund av kortare vårdtider, ökat ålderspann, förändringar i livsstil och samhällsstruktur. En god information kan öka patientens trygghet och förmåga att hantera olika aspekter av en planerad anestesi. Preoperativ oro är ett vanligt förekommande känslotillstånd hos patienter och kan öka förekomsten av postoperativt illamående och postoperativ smärta. En god patientinformation kan mätas i en minskad oro och ängslan inför anestesi. Studiens syfte var att undersöka patienters behov av preoperativ information samt upplevelsen av oro inför anestesi vid elektiv kirurgi.

Höftfrakturer är ett stort hälsoproblem i Sverige. Många patienter har svårigheter att återfå sin tidigare funktionsnivå efter en höftfraktur. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka vad som påverkar höftfrakturpatienters möjligheter att återfå tidigare funktionsnivå. Genom systematisk sökning av artiklar i tre databaser valdes 10 artiklar ut för denna litteraturstudie och granskades med hjälp av ett kvalitetsgranskningsprotokoll. Resultatet visade att smärta, kognitiv funktion, depression, ålder, balans och rädsla för att ramla, annan sjukdom, rörelseförmåga innan frakturen är faktorer som påverkar patienternas återhämtning.

Syftet med denna empiriska studie var att granska hur sjuksköterskan dokumente-rar smärta på en postoperativ avdelning och hur åtgärder i samband med smärt-lindring följs upp. Studien genomfördes på Universitetssjukhuset i Malmö genom granskning av journaler för 14 patienter som givit sitt samtycke att delta i studien. Analysen resulterade i tre kategorier: god/tillfredsställande, delvis tillfredsställan-de och bristfällig/obefintlig dokumentation. Resultatet av studien visade brister gällande dokumentation av smärta. Avsaknad av användning av visuell analog skala, smärtans karaktär och uppföljning av smärtlindring kunde noteras i ett fler-tal journaler.

In the year of 2011, the new CEO of AB Volvo announced a major reorganization. This reorganization was a contributing factor to the start-up of this thesis.Volvo Group Logistics Services (VGLS) is Volvo Group?s global logistics partner, which designs, manages and optimizes all of the group's incoming and outgoing logistics flows. With the reorganization, VGLS started a project regarding responsibilities around railway flows. Within the project a demand to collect logistics requirements occurred.
