Title: Dormant companies ? Taxation of closely held companiesProblem: Many companies are facing a business transfer and fall within a smaller company with a few owners and therefore that tax jurisdiction is current. They risk facing high taxes but it can be avoid by setting the company in an inactive status for five years.Purpose: The purpose is to describe the inactive company rules and the verdict from the Swedish Supreme Administrative Court. Also to investigate how this verdict will affect company sellers.Method: Based on a case study and by analyzing the Swedish Law conclusions has been determinate.Result: A dormant company must be inactive for five years, and then the company can benefit from a different taxation. The owner and it´s relatives can´t be active in the company during this five year period.

The Public vs. private movement has over the past decades identified numerous significant differences between public and private organizations. The observed differences covers almost every field in administrative economics ranging from organizational structure, management accounting, goal-setting and in the past few years even leadership. Strangely, in the majority of these studies little or no regards are given to organizational characteristics or fundamental differences between compared organizations and if these organizations really are comparable when studying the effect of sector.The aim of this study is to compare leadership in relatively similar organizations from both the public and private sector and so clarify if earlier identified differences in leadership styles still surface when leaders working with approximately the same thing in a similar work context are studied.A sample of 348 Swedish principals was drawn from both municipal and private elementary schools. The respondents answered a web-based survey based on the CPE-model resulting in leadership styles mapped according to three orientations: change, production and employee.

In this essay I point out that the presence of  ?Otherness? plays a key role in the novel The Beach by Alex Garland, and that the text relates to a colonial literary tradition. I?ve mainly used the distinction of Otherness and cultural representation presented by the postcolonial theorist Edward W. Said to guide me.

This bachelor?s degree project in social anthropology examines how teachers and school staffin grades 7-9 navigate between relationship-building work and the maintenance of authority.By studying interactions in both classrooms and informal environments, such as corridors andcommon areas, the study highlights how these dimensions take shape in concrete everydaysituations. The aim is to deepen the understanding of how teachers in practice balance thedemands for closeness and trust against the need for order and boundary-setting. The mainargument of the thesis is that relationship-building and authority do not constitute opposingpoles, but are closely intertwined practices that are constantly shaped and negotiated througheveryday micro-actions. This balancing act, described through the concept of ?hugs withboundaries?, is deeply situational and requires staff to continuously adapt their approachaccording to the specific situation and student group.

Denna studie jämför rapporteringen om naturkatastroferna i Haiti och Pakistan år 2010. Syftet är att förstå hur Svenska Dagbladet och Dagens Nyheter har prioriterat och gestaltat respektive lands katastrof vilket i sin tur skapar en bild av nationens ställning som offer.221 artiklar ligger till grund för mätning av utrymme och placering, varpå 72 artiklar analyserades mer ingående med hjälp av kvantitativ innehållsanalys för att ta fram viktiga aspekter i gestaltningen. Huvudsakliga aspekter var Lidande människor, de Skyldiga och Räddaren.Utifrån teorier om Agenda-Setting fann vi stöd för de resultat vi fann angående utrymme och prioritering. Compassion Fatigue och synen på Vi som en västerländsk norm och De Andra fick stå som teoretisk grund för hur journalister skapar medkänsla hos läsaren för att öka intresset för nyheten.Resultatet visar att katastrofen i Haiti var den som prioriterades högst. Det på grund av att medier prioriterar plötsliga händelser framför långsamma och att Haiti utifrån ett västerländskt perspektiv hade en högre nationell status som offer än Pakistan.

Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva intensivvårdssjuksköterskors erfarenheter av att bedöma och behandla smärta hos patienter som vårdas postoperativt på intensivvårdsavdelning. Sex intensivvårdssjuksköterskor intervjuades. Dataanalys genomfördes med kvalitativ innehållsanalys vilket resulterade i ett tema: en bra relation med patienten är en förutsättning för att lyckas lindra smärta och fyra kategorier: att förstå den enskilda patientens upplevelse av smärta, att lyckas eller misslyckas lindra smärta, att lita på patienten som har ont och ta hjälp av läkare, samt att behandla smärta när farmaka inte räcker till. Reslutatet visar att det var viktigt att kunna se tecken hos patienter som inte verbalt kan uppge att de upplevde smärta. Ilska kunde vara utryck för smärta hos äldre.

Att genomgå en operation innebär en stor fysisk och psykisk påfrestning för patienten. Att genomgå en operation och den efterföljande vistelsen på vårdavdelningen innebär att en individ tas ur sitt sammanhang och detta kan försvåra individens förmåga att uppleva hälsa. Under den postoperativa perioden finns flertalet faktorer som påverkar patienten antingen negativt eller positivt och innebär en direkt förändring i patientens livsvärld. Husserls livsvärldsteori innebär att en individs livsvärld är individuell och att den konstant påverkas av interna och externa faktorer.Syftet med denna uppsats var att beskriva patientens upplevelser av den postoperativa vistelsen på en vårdavdelning. Metoden som använts i denna uppsats var en systematisk litteraturstudie som baserades på tolv artiklar som kvalitetsgranskades och analyserades.Resultatet utgjordes av tre huvudkategorer; Patientens kroppsliga upplevelse under den postoperativa vistelsen på vårdavdelningen, patientens psykiska och emotionella upplevelse under den postoperativa vistelsen på vårdavdelningen samt postoperativa möten och  relationer på vårdavdelningen.

Kvinnor som utsätts för våld i nära relationer är ett globalt folkhälsoproblem, då våldets konsekvenser innebär ett liv av skuld, skam och lidande hos kvinnorna. Hälso- och sjukvårdspersonalen har en unik och viktig roll i att hitta och identifiera kvinnorna. Syftet med studien var att beskriva hur kvinnor som utsätts för våld i nära relationer upplever mötet med hälso- och sjukvården. En litteraturstudie där tolv vetenskapliga artiklar har granskats och analyserats och som ligger till grund för resultatet. Resultatet bygger på tre kategorier: Att inte bli sedd och hörd, Att känna rädsla, skam och skuld samt Att inte känna stöd.

Background: The nursing profession involves meetings and situations which can be stressful. The work environment can cause additional stress in the form of time pressure, lack of support from colleagues, management or disgruntled family members and patients. This places the nurse in a position that requires a sharpened ability to handle stress. It can become overwhelming and unmanageable and cause a serious threat to the nurse's health and wellbeing. To handle stress the nurses uses different coping strategies.Aim: The aim of the review was to gain a better understanding of how nurses deal with occupational stress.Method: A systematic literature overview study based on eleven articles, including both qualitative and quantitative studies.Results: Nurses deal with stress in different ways based on their own resources.

FLUTD - Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease ? is a complex disease and a common sight in the veterinary setting. Although FLUTD excluding urethral obstruction may be discomforting for the cat and its owner due to symptoms such as periuria, stranguria, hematuria, dysuria and pollakiuria, obstruction presents an acute and potentially lethal form of the disease as a result of uremia and disturbances in fluids, electrolytes and acid-base balances. A study of literature has been performed to investigate the causes of FLUTD with urethral obstruction and the actions available to the owner to avert them. Potential causes of obstructive and non-obstructive FLUTD have been found to include infections, uroliths, urethral plugs, neoplasia, anatomic abnormalities, trauma, neurogenic or iatrogenic causes. Most commonly a cause cannot be identified and the terms idiopathic FLUTD or feline idiopathic cystitis are used. As the mortality rate due to urethral obstruction likely is somewhere around 5.8-8.9% and FLUTD including and excluding urethral obstruction constitute great inconveniences, precautionary measures are warranted.

The purpose of this work is to develop and test a design process where quick decisions and model building has a prominent role. The goal is to develop a number of products and build prototypes to be shown during the Carl Malmsten Furniture Studies spring exhibition 2012. I?m also writing a report describing my work.To reach my goal I have each day during the first phase conducted a short research and found a concept based on that days name day. Then I have continued in the workshop and worked with three-dimensional models.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the relationship between space and consumer interaction at WEEKDAY, a contemporary fashion retail store in Malmö, Sweden. The thesis is based on a qualitative case-study and has a social constructionist approach. In order to understand the interaction taking place between consumer and environment we conducted observations guided by Kenneth Burke?s Pentad.The retail servicescape at WEEKDAY is conceived as a metaphorical stage where drama unfolds, analysing and defining the retail space using Kenneth Burke?s pentad of dramatism. We concentrate on the use of two terms of Burke?s pentad, the scene and the act, almost exclusively as we investigate how the scene stimulates the act.

Oavsiktlig lindrig hypotermi förekommer hos upp till 60 % av de patienter som genomgår en operation. Hjärnans förmåga att reglera kroppstemperaturen under ett operativt ingrepp påverkas av läkemedel som ges under anestesi. De åtgärder som vidtas innan och under operationen för att minska temperatursänkning är ofta otillräckliga och behöver förbättras. Idag finns få rutiner för hur oavsiktlig lindrig hypotermi skall undvikas för att minska det lidande som kan uppstå då patienten oavsiktligt utsätts för avkylning perioperativt. Syftet med studien var att påvisa de risker och effekter som uppstår i samband med oavsiktlig lindrig hypotermi perioperativt, samt att belysa framkomna skyddande faktorer.

Bakgrund: En njurtransplantation är nödvändig som behandling om en person drabbas av en irreversibel njursvikt. Det är den vanligaste formen av transplantation i världen. En njur-transplantation förbättrar livskvaliteten avsevärt men efter operationen sker en transition mellan sjukdom och behandling som kan påverka faktorer i patientens livskvalitet. Syfte: Att beskriva patientens erfarenheter av sin livssituation efter en njurtransplantation. Metod: En allmän litteraturstudie.
