AbstractVåldtäkt har alltid förekommit i krig och konfliktsituationer men det är först sedan kriget i Bosnien-Hercegovina som våldtäkt i krig har fått allmän uppmärksamhet. Den här uppsatsen avser att genom poststrukturalistisk och Postmodern feministisk teori hjälpa till att förstå varför kvinnor våldtogs systematiskt under kriget 1992-1995 i Bosnien-Hercegovina. Fallstudien har utförts genom en analys av tidigare forskning kring ämnet utifrån ovan nämnda teorier. Genom att titta på de konstruerade manliga och kvinnliga identiteterna i fredstid i Bosnien-Hercegovina har en bättre förståelse fåtts för användningen av dessa konstruktioner i krig och därmed även en förklaringsmodell till varför man våldtog kvinnor under kriget. Resultatet av analysen visar sammanfattningsvis att våldtäkt av kvinnor i kriget i Bosnien-Hercegovina användes som vapen mot mannen lika mycket som kvinnan, mot maskuliniteten som mot femininiteten och även mot nationen, genom attack mot de konstruerade genusidentiteterna..

Syftet med den föreliggande studien har varit att beskriva och skapa en djupare förståelse för vad det innebär att vara sopdykare i ett Postmodernt konsumtionssamhälle. Den teoretiska delen i studien har bestått av Zygmunt Baumans teorier om konsumtionsliv, globalisering och Postmodern etik. Material har bestått av fem intervjuer med två kvinnor och tre män som sopdyker regelbundet. Den metodologiska utgångspunkten har varit att tolka materialet utifrån ett hermeneutiskt förhållningssätt i tre olika nivåer. De begrepp som tillsammans utgör en huvudtolkning om vad det innebär att vara sopdykare i Postmoderniteten är: En ambivalent konsumtion, alternativa kicksökare, den kollektiva gemenskapen, tänk globalt ? agera lokalt, den gode stråtrövaren och gammaldags moral.

This thesis in Educational Sciences consists of a narrative ideology-analysis of the Swedish school's fundamental values with perspectives from the philosophy of Nietzsche and Kant, which also analyzed the same way, with the aim to trace and problematize the ideological foundations of "our society's shared values" that teachers should convey to the students. Based on a theory that a humanism crisis occurs when important values are perceived as threatened, does the introduction of the basic values of the curriculum appear as a response tosocietal changes. Nietzsche and Kant represent completely different idea currents that both have been reflected in the curriculum in which basic values have different meanings. Nietzsche has inspired social criticism, postcolonial and Postmodern thinkers to a critical constructivist approach that is an asset in the multicultural classroom to deconstruct stereotypes and prejudices. That culture, ethnicity, morality and religion do not have an objective essence, but seen as social constructions, using a critical approach is a way of thinking which was developed with inspiration from Nietzsche.

This essay contains a discoursive analysis of fifteen travel reports from five of the largest papers in Sweden. The travel reports contains recaptions from wildlife tourism experiences were the predators are the main target, or at least one of the main targets. By using the cyborg as a structural tool to analyze certain aspects of human interaction with what can be perceived as landscape or landscape architectural elements, this thesis seeks to explore the concept of the cyborg landscape in order to place human practice in the context of Postmodern ideas of the end of true nature. Ever since human kind has externalized evo-lution by using tools and extending the body with technological inventions, we have also taken our surroundings out of their natural trajectory. Everything we do that is conditioned by the use of technology is altering that which we perceive as nature and natural. Since we have been doing this for millennia we have of course also altered our surroundings by the influence of technology.This thesis uses three examples of landscape or landscape architectural elements that are conditioned by the integration of technology to explore this practice through a Postmodern model of analysis based on the concept and basic premises of the cyborg, or the cybernetic organism. A cybernetic organism is in short an organism that has functioning technological parts integrated into its system.

Denna uppsats tittar närmare på fyra verk av Jenny Holzer. Hennes konstnärskap jämförs även med Guerilla Girls. Huvudmetoden utgörs av bildanalyser och jag presenterar också tolkningsmöjligheter utifrån ett genusperspektiv. Utöver detta har jag med en konsthistoriografisk undersökning fått fram hur den generella bilden av Holzer ser ut..

I studien har jag ställt frågorna; vad är masskommunikation och hur kan den beskrivas? Vilken väg transporteras en händelse i massmedias infrastruktur? Ambitionen är att undersöka hur masskommunikationen fungerar, därför har tre specifika händelser valts ut för att studeras. Teoretiskt utgår studien ifrån ett mediefilosofiskt synsätt i en Postmodern tradition med medieteori av McLuhan, Baudrillard och Bourdieu. Undersökningen har genomförts med kvalitativ fallstudie. Tre händelser har identifierats och kategoriserats i empirisk, definitiv och producerad händelse.

Hjalmar Söderberg är en svensk författare vars verk i allra högsta grad lever kvar i våra dagar, vilket visar sig i de mångtaliga omtolkningar på hans romaner som uppkommit under 2000-talet. Med detta arbete vill jag dels analysera Hjalmar Söderbergs mest uppmärksammande roman Doktor Glas (1905), dels utveckla en didaktisering av de sentida pastischer som sprungit ur verket och belysa pastischernas Postmoderna tendenser.Mitt syfte är också att undersöka hur dagens gymnasielärare ser på användandet av Hjalmar Söderbergs texter i sin undervisning. I arbetet intervjuar jag sex yrkesverksamma svensklärare som pekar på olika förtjänster med att använda sig av Söderbergs texter i elevsammanhang, däribland språket, stockholmsskildringen, de etiska och moraliska frågeställningarna som tas upp i texterna samt Söderbergs texter som förmedlare av ett svenskt kulturarv.Därutöver har jag själv gått ut i skolan och provat min didaktisering av de sentida omtolkningarna av Söderbergs Doktor Glas med en elevgrupp. Eleverna har sedermera fått besvara en skriftlig uppgift om pastischerna samt en utvärderande enkät om hur de upplevde mitt lektionsmoment. Utifrån detta diskuterar jag hur och varför Söderbergs texter kan ha en plats i skolundervisningen samt vilka förtjänster det finns med att undervisa om Postmodernistisk litteratur i skolan.Resultatet från lärarintervjuerna och elevenkäterna för mitt resonemang in på hur vissa elever kan ha svårigheter att förstå äldre texter och forna tiders moralsyn, men också nyttan av att utmana sina egna perspektiv och sin egen tids tankesätt.

I detta arbete har vi haft som syfte att utreda om det Postmoderna samhällets värderingar skapar ett behov av att förändra vägledningen i riktning mot en holistiskt inriktad vägledning, i arbetet betecknad som Personlig vägledning. Resultatet i arbetet tycker vi visar att det föreligger ett sådant behov. Mycket talar för att vi till stora delar redan lever i det Postmoderna samhället och därför anser vi att det är angeläget att vi i vägledningskretsar diskuterar detta vidare. In Shop! Daniel Svensson is studying the Public Consume Conversation during the 90´s. Focus is based on two local papers in the Swedish town Norrköping and the Public Media Conversation, which these two represent. What kind of discourses has been dominating this conversation, that is the most important question in Shop! To answer this, Daniel Svensson uses the Critical Discourse Analysis, by Norman Fairclough, as an analytic tool. This method provides him with the possibility to connect the micro level of text with the macro level of the society. But this demands theories of the contemporary society at a macro level.

This essay in Art History treats the former Central Post Office in Gothenburg, Sweden, and its recent transformation into a luxury hotel. The magnificent original building in neo-classical style, inaugurated in 1925, has been supplemented by a twelve stories high tower in Postmodern style containing hotel rooms and suites, creating a complex architecture. The approach of this essay is that of ?lived architecture?, that is, how people experience and act in relation to the building. It is argued that the history of the building is rewritten in the marketing of the hotel and the management?s concept of creating a comfortable ?mini-world?for its guests.
