Examensarbetet är en litteraturstudie som handlar om att förebygga post-operativa komplikationer hos hund i samband med anestesi, symtom på dessa och hur de åtgärdas.Anestesi är ett reversibelt tillstånd av medvetslöshet frambringat för att kunna utföra operationer och diagnostiska tester. Det är viktigt att anpassa anestesin efter varje djur och ha kunskap för olika läkemedels önskade effekt och biverkningar. Vid val av anestesi bör hänsyn tas till olika faktorer, som till exempel ras, ålder, sjukdom och beteende.Problem kan uppstå i alla stadier av anestesi, från pre-medicineringen till uppvaket. Vanliga komplikationer är kräkning, regurgitation, krampanfall, excitation, dyspne, hypotermi och förlängt uppvaknande. Individuellt kan problemen innebära små konsekvenser, men tillsammans orsaka fara.

Syftet med examensarbetet var att ta fram ett webbaserat säljstödssystem åt Koneo i Gävle.Systemet skulle underlätta för säljarna i deras dagliga arbete med att samla information om kunder på ett ställe. Vidare kan de där redigera information, skicka e-post, ta fram olika dokument m.m. De tekniker vi använt oss av är ASP.NET, SQL-lagrade procedurer,JavaScript, CSS och VBScript. Resultatet av arbetet är ett fullt fungerande system som kommer att tas i bruk av företaget inom kort..

Joint injury (inflammation) or osteoarthritis is the most common cause of poor performance in the athletic horse. Osteoarthritis is the ensuing degeneration of joint cartilage due to inflammation/injury. The single most important factor in the inflammation cascade of joint injuries is interleukin-1 (IL-1). Until recently, these injuries have been treated with products like hyaluronic acid, cortisone and polysulphated glycosaminoglycans (PSGAG). Several studies have not been able to demonstrate a significant difference in the clinical improvement of joint injuries treated with hyaluronic acid or PSGAG and saline.

The post-modern western city is going through two central changes in the organization of paid labour. One is the switch from production of goods to production of services, and the other is the increasing rift between well-paid labour with permanent jobs, and temporarily employed workers with low wages. Both of these processes are rasified and gendered, and strike harder against women, young persons and people of emigrant background. The flexible capitalism creates an informalization of the economy, breaking with earlier regulations of the labour markets, in which workers also need to find informal strategies in their individual and collective struggles. In this paper, I search for these ?new? experiences of living and working in late capitalist society, by doing open interviews with three women of Latin-American origin, working without official permission (without documents) in the informal economy of Stockholm.

To be ableto grasp these thoughts in full I have undergone an investigation not only on the writingsof Slavoj ?i?ek, but also on the philosophers to whom he owe much of his theories,such as G.W.F. Hegel, Friedriech Schelling, Karl Marx and Jaques Lacan.In the study I have shown how the subject is, according to ?i?eks psychoanalytictheories, decentered.

If so, where does its unifying quality lie? How does art connect with the individual, the community and society? My interpretation of the political climate regarding the arts has resulted in an exploration of the question: What role does art have in society today?The artistic ego as an altruism ? within the title of this thesis lies an absolute paradox ? a paradox that through this paper is tested, reviewed and demonstrated as a way of describing art and its workings. Prosody is the melody and rhythm of speech and language. Prosodic ability is of great importance for communication, and has been shown to be affected in adults with acquired brain injury. Studies have shown that Swedish children with specific language impairment have prosodic  difficulties to a greater extent than e.g. English speaking peers. It is thereby possible that prosodic ability is more vulnerable also in Swedish speaking adults with acquired brain injury.The aim of the present study was to assess prosodic ability in adults with acquired brain injury, and to evaluate the prosodic assessment procedure that was used.

I dagens segregationsdiskurs läggs fokus ofta på de storskaliga miljonprogrammen. De människor som bor där beskylls ofta för att själva vara orsaken till segregationsproblemen. En vanlig uppfattning är att dessa människor genom egna val bidragit till de segregationsmönster vi har idag. Sällan belyses andra gruppers val som orsak till fenomenet.
