"Förbrända men icke förintade" : en osteologisk analys av kremerade individer från förromersk järnålder från gravfältet Smörkullen, Alvastra, Östergötland

Cremated remains have long been regarded as a highly complex material that often provides unsatisfactory results. This essay discusses the problems that arise when methods commonly used on unburned bone material are used in a cremated skeletal material. The present essay discusses the results from osteological analysis of seven cremations from Pre-Roman Iron Age from a large cemetery in Alvastra, Smörkullen. Several methods were ultimately not applied in the present study as they were insufficient for application on the relevant material. Since the methods were inapplicable and fragments available for gender assessments too low, no sex assessments were made.

Chemical Looping Combustion (CLC) is a CO2 capture technologywith the CCS framework, and at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg,Sweden, a 100 kW chemical looping combustor has been built.This project aimed to investigate to what degree air can replace helium as the uidizinggas for uid dynamical studies in a CLC cold ow model of the above mentioned 100 kWfacility. Experiments were performed using air and helium separately as uidizing gas andpressure data were obtained, which formed the basis for the comparison. The project alsoaimed to investigate uid dynamics in the uidized bed and study when the risk of sluggingoccuring was greatest. The results were presented in the form of figures and tables dividedinto pressure, concentration and standard deviation of the pressure.The results obtained showed that air as uidizing gas did not create the same uid dynamicsas helium over the entire fuel reactor.

Traumatiserade flyktingar i socialt arbete

According to the Swedish Red Cross, there are over 40 million people fleeing from war and conflict around the world. Some of these individuals are suffering from a disorder named PTSD (Post Traumatic Disorder Syndrome). This disorder is caused by previous experience incurred by war, conflict and violence. My intention with this study has been to increase the knowledge about refugees in Sweden suffering from PTSD syndrome. I have performed a study based on a project named Exigo.

Denna uppsats behandlar problematiken som uppstår när ett avtal skickas i via elektronisk post som blir oläsligt för mottagaren på grund av inkompatibilitet. Om ett meddelande är inkompatibelt, när ska det ha ansetts kommit fram till motparten? Uppsatsen börjar med att problematisera faktumet att avtalslagen är skriven med pappersbaserade dokument som utgångspunkt och att det därför finns en möjlighet att de lösningar som gäller för brev (t.ex. reglerna om förklaringsmisstag) inte är lika lämpliga vad gäller elektroniska meddelanden. På ytan torde det inte vara några problem, eftersom både en IT-utredning (SOU 1996:40) och den svenska doktrinen inom området mestadels tyder på att de skillnader som kan uppstå inte gör en särskild lagstiftning nödvändig.Efter analys av vad inkompatibilitet innebär framkommer det dock att det är ett fenomen som inte kan jämföras blint med liknande situationer där pappersbrev används.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka styrningen av unga vuxna inom ett av Sveriges ledande försäkringsbolag. Den problematik som legat till grund för studiens ämnesval är den uppmärksamhet svensk och internationell media på senare tid skapat kring dagens nyinträdda arbetskraft. Den unga arbetskraften beskrivs som individer som ställer betydande krav på sitt arbete i form av självständighet och flexibilitet. Samtidigt som tidigare studier visar på att traditionell, byråkratisk organisering finns kvar inom dagens organisationer. Resultat som motsätter sig den unga arbetskraftens krav om självständighet och flexibilitet.

A number of environmental laws and increcing energy prices have improved the prerequisites for increasing the use of these materials. At Seskarö sawmill they burn the sludgebark and a great deal of the bark in the sawmill furnace. The sludgebark has a number of disadvantages compared to bark during burning. The sludgebark is often wet which means the energy net from burning often gets low.
