Denna undersökning tar sig an problematiken i översättning från danska till svenska. Då litteratur och tidigare forskning i ämnet är mycket sparsam, bygger undersökningen framförallt på erfarenheter från verksamma dansk-svenska översättare. Även språkvetare och en förlagsredaktör har bidragit med sina kunskaper kring översättning i allmänhet och hur danskan och svenskan skiljer sig i uttryckssätt. Innan resultaten sammanställdes utfördes teoretiska studier i dansk och svensk språkhistoria och översättningsproblematik. Intervjuer har genomförts både genom direkta samtal och via e-post.

Background: In the schools today it is common that teachers talk about children with special needs and children with ?Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder? ? ADHD. You can often hear people discuss about children with ADHD from the teachers point of view, that pupils are hard to handle and that they do not know how to create a good relationship with them. But you seldom hear anyone talk about school from the children?s perspective, how they feel, think and experience their school attendance. Purpose: The purpose of this qualitative study was to examine how a functional disability like ADHD can effect a childs schooling and also to show how pupils with ADHD themselves experience their school attendance and how they are being treated by teachers and other pupils.Method: In order to investigate this, five interviews was carried out with students in the the ages of 16-25.

This research is about different perspectives, offered by three mother tongue teachers, one principal and also featuring a representative from Skolverket, on the subject: teacher legitimation for mother tongue teachers, mother tongue teachers opportunity for competence education and the future of mother tongue education in Sweden.The theoretical framework is mother tongue language, globalization, the post-colonial theory, power and social inequality. A qualitative approach was used including five interviews taken place in Stockholm, the results does not however represent the whole country nor the community of Stockholm itself.The result shows that mother tongue teachers thinks the teacher legitimation does not mean anything regarding their already low-status. Even principal and representative from Skolverket express their concern towards the 'non-demand' for mother tongue teachers to get their legitimation and they feel there is a lack of ambition from decisonmakers to include the mother tongue teachers.As per today there is no higher education for mother tongue teachers leading towards an exam. Mother tongue teachers are worried about their future although principal and representant takes a bright outlook. .

Abstract Children with neuropsychiatric disorders often require special arrangements from the society. These measures could target the child itself, its parents, or other parts of the social network surrounding the child. Parents of children with neuropsychiatric disorders are often deeply engaged both in their child and in these measures.Three parents of children with neuropsychiatric disorders, and four counselors in different habilitation centers, were interviewed. The purpose of this qualitative interview study was to describe the methods with which the counselors worked to support parents of children with neuropsychiatric disorders, and to understand how the parents experienced this support offered by the counselors.The qualitative interviews with counselors and parents followed a thematic interview guide. A structured interview form was used.

This thesis analyses the literature debate in the overlooked Swedish magazine Samtid och Framtid 1944?1949. The magazine was first published at the end of World War II on the initiative of publisher Johan Hansson. After an interesting start, the terms of the debate in the magazine were changed after a power struggle on the editorial level. Thus, the magazine never became the influential arena for literary discussions that it first had potential of becoming.

Aim With this study we want to highlight and analyze the media spin of the PR campaign Miss Skinny by clarifying; a diffusion pattern which covers posts published by bloggers and journalists; a framing pattern from the first audited post to the last; how journalists are influenced by user generated content, and what consequences this may have for the news coverage.Method We have conducted a studied of news posts and blog posts about the Swedish PR campaign Miss Skinny through content analysis, diffusion analysis and mapped direct links between blog posts and news posts.Main result We found that a surprisingly large amount of news postings contained direct links to previous blog posts and that the former media serial no longer can be applied on today's modern media where journalists and other players come together on the converged media arena. .

Bakgrund: Självskadebeteende startar ofta i tidiga tonåren men orsaken grundar sig i traumatiska upplevelser i barndomen. Beteendet är en medveten handling som utförs för att dämpa den psykiska smärtan och resulterar i en vävnadsskada. Patienterna anser sig ofta bli stigmatiserade och behandlade som objekt när de istället behöver känna stöd och förståelse från personalen i omvårdnaden. Syfte: Att belysa patienter med självskadebeteende, deras upplevelser av sitt beteende och av omvårdnadspersonalens förhållningssätt vid mötet i omvårdnaden. Metod: En litteraturstudie baserad på 11 vetenskapliga artiklar.

I Sverige föds varje år drygt 100 barn med Downs syndrom. Föräldrarna till dessa barn kan vid beskedet om att deras barn inte är friskt uppleva en omvälvande tid i sina liv eftersom de förväntningar de hade på sitt barn och sitt föräldraskap inte förverkligas. När vårdpersonal träffar dessa familjer behöver de kunskap om hur föräldrarna upplever sin situation. Syftet med denna studie är därför att belysa upplevelsen av att vara förälder till barn med Downs syndrom. Uppsatsen baseras på analys av nio vetenskapliga artiklar med kvalitativ ansats, vilkas resultat har granskats och sammanställts i teman som tillsammans bildar uppsatsens resultat.

The study examines conceptions of identity among girls with foreign background. The aim was to study how identity is understood by the girls based on ethnicity, images of the origin, the value of gender and the meaning of the family. The theoretical approach was post-colonial theory based on Stuart Hall in combination with gender theory by Yvonne Hirdman. The study was conducted using qualitative individual interviews of open character with six girls. They were aged 17-18 years old and were born in Sweden or had lived here since the age of six.

SyfteSyftet är att skapa förståelse för affärssystemets roll för att skapa en centraliserad beslutsprocess och utforma strategisk ekonomistyrning. BakgrundOrganisationer är konkurrensutsatta och behöver därmed anpassa mål, strategi och organisationsstruktur till en omvärld i förändring. Om organisationen tror på sin strategi måste de utveckla en ekonomistyrning som påverkar de anställda att tänka och agera i den riktning som strategin utstakar. En förutsättning för att kunna utforma strategisk ekonomistyrning är att strukturera informationssflödet vilket kan göras möjligt av ett affärssystem.Ett affärssystems viktigaste egenskaper på organisationen i övrigt är dess förmåga att knyta samman och integrera organisationens enheter i samma informationssystem. Vidare skapar val av organisationsstruktur olika förutsättningar att utnyttja ekonomistyrningen och kräver olika slags informationsflödeshantering, som i sin tur måste stödjas av affärssystemet.MetodUndersökningen har utförts genom en fallstudie på ett välkänt svenskt företag inom detaljhandeln.

This essay aims to explore the possibilities for elderly in nursing homes in Örebro municipality toreceive other treatments besides medication in case of depression or anxiety. Issues associated withthe object in this paper and which are discussed are prevalence of drug usage, opportunities forelderlies to receive other treatments, prevalence of other treatments and the elderlies own power orinfluence over the choice of treatment. The survey has been conducted with questionnaires sent outby post to nurses at every nursing home for elderly in Örebro municipality. The results showed thatdrugs are used extensively when treating depression or anxiety among the nursing home residents,and other treatments are never or only occasionally being discussed at more than half of the nursinghomes in this study. The results also show that reminiscence therapy and problem-solving therapyhas been used occasionally, while alternative therapies are used more frequently.

Undersökningen syftar till att undersöka hur åtta personer upplever sin arbetssituation som tidig bedömare av sjukpenningsärenden på Försäkringskassan. I och med att vi strävar efter en djupare förståelse för intervjupersonernas upplever av sitt arbete har vi naturligtvis använt oss av den kvalitativa metoden. Vi har belyst den tidiga bedömargruppen (TB-gruppen) ur olika sociologiska perspektiv. Å ena sidan har vi försökt att se drag av byråkrati i undersökningsgruppen med hjälp av Weber och Bauman. Å andra sidan har vi använt oss av Hage och Powers för att se eventuella drag av det post-industriella i form av flexibilitet och kreativitet hos TB-gruppen. Relationen mellan det byråkratiska och det flexibla är det genomgående temat i undersökningen. Balansen mellan dessa båda faktorer är något som TB-gruppen ställs inför varje dag.

The master's thesis investigates how the concept traditional knowledge is represented by international organizations that are influential in development work and policy making. Departing from a theoretical framework drawing on Michel Foucault, constructed aspects of knowledge and the power relations knowledge production implies are highlighted.A recent interest within library and information science and practice to document this kind of knowledge raises questions about how traditional knowledge differs from other forms of knowledge and how knowledge organizational tools can be applied. Investigations, which critically explore the concept traditional knowledge, the power relations the concept creates as well as the interests and purposes it serves, have been surprisingly absent within the discipline. The focus in this master's thesis is how traditional knowledge is conceptualized by international organizations. A discourse analytical approach reveals the power relations that are inherent in their descriptions of traditional knowledge and how they describe the relevance of the concept for their work.

The landscape in the interior of Norrland has undergone dramatic changes since the deglaciation as a consequence of faultings, earthquakes and tilting of the landscape westwards. Archaeological investigations along former shorelines by the use of models of isostatic land uplift, have revealed many Mesolitic settlements in northern Sweden. Döudden, in the county of Arjeplog, has been investigated by archaeologists that identified settlements from 5200 BC. The objective of this study was to analyse the history of the vegetation and if the vegetation showed traces of human activity during early Holocene, by pollen analysis.
