This essay is about the staff in integrated homes very complex profession and this is illustrated through twelve interviews in five integrated homes for disabled people. The profession changed when the institution closed and especially when the Law of Support and Service (LSS) was introduced in 1994.The purpose of this survey is to study how staff works with LSS intentions in integrated homes for disabled people and to increase the awareness about the structure of power and how this affects the daily life for those who live there.The main objective in this survey is to find out which the differences that lie between LSS intentions and the work that take place in integrated homes for disabled people. This survey tries to illustrate when and why these differences occur. This survey has a multidisciplinary perspective, where three models of disability and theories from Foucault, Sibley and Wendell have been included. The result shows that the staffs work is difficult, full of responsibility and has many facets.

I have examined acclimatization models in pre-school. My emphasis is on the shorter acclimatization models. To begin pre-school is a big change, not only for small children, for the whole family as well. It is important to get a good acclimatization in pre-school, and one of the things it takes to achieve that is to interact with the parents. The reason why I chose this subject was because we have not studied much literature about this subject during our education to become pre-school teachers.

This master thesis was conducted during the spring of 2014 at Atlas Copco Rock Drills AB in Örebro. The purpose of the thesis was to develop a simulation model of the rotation system for a hydraulic rock drill. In the future, the model will be used to investigate the phenomena called ?jerky rotation?. In order to validate the simulation model a test bench was designed and tests were made.

Abstract The main purpose of this study was to investigate if and how the employees in elderly care experience stress and which underlying causes they understand to be important in their work situation. The purpose was also to investigate whether Karaseks and Theorells demands and control models could be used to explain the employees feelings of stress and to see in which categories the participants are in. Furthermore, the purpose was also to understand the participants work situation and to describe the factors and remedies the employees perceive to contribute to the stress levels at their workplace. 81 questionnaires were distributed at three different locations, two of which were in Ronneby and one in Örebro. 56 people answered the questionnaires.

Studien syftar även till att visa på de viktigaste delområdena och faktorerna man bör fokusera på för att portföljstyrningen ska bli framgångsrik inom den verksamhet som ämnar använda sig av arbetsättet. Studien är dock avgränsad till vad projektportföljstyrning är, dels genom teori, men även enligt portföljchefer, konsulter och projektledare då det är dessa typer av aktörer som vi genom bekvämlighets och kedjeurval har intervjuat.

For the theoretical and technical description of laser cutting literature studies are the primary source of information. The empirical basis for the mapping of the Swedish industry for laser cutting is grounded on a survey; this includes Swedish companies that use laser cutting in their production.

There are several methods and models within the areas of software engineering on how to proceed during a software development process. For each of these methods and models there are benefits and drawbacks, depending on how you choose to look at them. A difference of principle between the different models is that they either advocate iterative development or not. In parts of software engineering one makes use of different methods depending on which is most fitting in a specific situation. Today, there are a number of different models and methods used to estimate the equity value of a company. A common tool for valuating stock prices is the usage of different multiples. This is a method used to determine the value of a company, by examining and comparing the financial ratios of relevant peer groups. The disadvantage with this method is that it does not take all the important aspects, such as risk, investments and capital structure, into consideration. However, this study investigates if the key value, called discounted cash flow (DCF), can be integrated with the valuation of the multiples.

Den här uppsatsen behandlar organisering av applikationsportföljer. En applikationsportfölj är enligtvår definition i denna uppsats det samlade antalet applikationer som finns inom en verksamhet ochen applikation är ett informationssystem som används direkt i verksamheten. Med organisering menar vi i denna uppsats hur ett systemstöd för styrning av en applikationsportfölj kan strukturerasoch vad det bör finnas för information om varje applikation.Uppsatsen redogör för ett antal undersökningar som vi har genomfört på olika affärsenheter inomSaab Group i Linköping och Huskvarna samt en undersökning på ett referensföretag undersommaren 2009. Syftet med uppsatsen är således att undersöka hur en koncern kan organisera engemensam applikationsportfölj. Vi kommer dra nytta av lärdomar från de olika affärsenheterna och tre teoretiska fält i vår undersökning: Application Portfolio Management, ITIL och affärsmässigförvaltningsstyrning.

Managementmodeller med inriktning mot processorientering blev populära i slutet av 1980-talet och början av 1990-talet och ett flertal olika modeller togs fram, marknadsfördes ivrigt av konsulter samt implementerades i många företag. Några av dessa modeller fick större genomslagskraft än andra. Många av dessa modeller blev så kallade managementtrender som fick stor uppmärksamhet under en period men sedan försvann. Litteraturstudier förde oss in på att Total Quality Management (TQM) och Business Process Reengineering (BPR) är två modeller som rönt stor uppmärksamhet. Det som intresserade oss vid litteraturstudierna var att studera hur dessa modeller upplevs i näringslivet idag, 10-15 år efter att de slagit igenom.
