This study examines the background and nature of the credit default index swaption (CDIS) and presentsrelevant methods for modelling credit risk. A CDIS is a credit derivative contract that gives the buyerright to enter into a credit default index swap (CDS index) contract at a given point in time. ACDS index, in turn, is a multi-name credit default swap (CDS). Within the eld of research, thisthesis identi es the CDIS pricing models presented by Jackson (2005), Rutkowski & Armstrong (2009)and Morini & Brigo (2011) as the most recognized and developed. These models are evaluated byreconstruction in a numerical software environment.

Hur bra koll har de egentligen? : Intentioner och användning av elevdokumentation i skolan

Syftet med detta arbete var att undersöka hur elevdokumentation så som portfolio, individuella utvecklingsplaner samt loggböcker fungerar i praktiken och dess värde vid överlämnande samt övertagande av elever från år 6 till 7. Undersökningen är grundad på kvalitativa intervjuer genomförda i två olika kommuner med lärare i år 6 och 7 samt rektorer på två F-9 skolor. Enligt skolans styrdokument ska lärarna följa upp eleverna och möta dem där de är genom att anpassa undervisningen efter varje individuellt behov. Olika faktorer som försvårar detta kan vara för få lärare i för stora klasser. Ute på skolorna finns olika verktyg för att hjälpa lärare att uppnå detta mål, men problemet som uppstått är att olika skolor/lärare arbetar på väldigt olika sätt och att innehållet i elevdokumentationen då blir väldigt varierande och därför inte tas tillvara vid övertagandet av elever i år 7.

Parametriserad modell av motorprototyp med Solidworks

The purpose of this thesis has been to build a parameterized model of a prototype motor in the program Solidworks, to use in future optimization of aspects of effectiveness and weight. The result were two models. The first model were one minor part of the whole design in 2D, to be able to optimize and study the minor part with a faster loss simulation. The second model was the whole design in 3D. The whole model were done with the three programs Solidworks, Comsol and Matlab.

In modern industrial robots the components in the transmission contain nonlinearities. These nonlinearities need to be to estimated either for better control or to use the parameters for diagnosis of the system. There is a lot of work done within system identification and mainly within the field of iterative parameter estimation.This thesis considers recursive grey-box identification for a nonlinear model of the transmission in an industrial robot. The nonlinearities that are identified are friction, spring stiffnes, hysteresis and backlash. These nonlinearities are a part of the models that are presented in this thesis.

A multivariate cross-sectional model is used in this thesis to proxy for expected earnings and to estimate return on equity for 214 companies over the period 2009-2013, using Swedish data. The model, which has never been tested on Swedish data before, is first confirmed to function as a forecasting model for expected return. Furthermore, the model is evaluated through a comparison with two univariate models based on the assumption that return on equity follows a mean reversion process. Forecast accuracy is calculated as the difference of estimated returns and actual returns. The results show that the univariate models' forecasts are superior to the multivariate model's..
