Syftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka den lokala fackföreningsrörelsens politiska verksamhet i relation till dess ekonomiska och politiska bedömningar i gruvindustrin under perioden 1933-1945. Avsikten var att belysa den situation de organiserade arbetarna befann sig i där solidaritet och ideologi ställdes mot arbetstillgång och höjda löner till följd av Nazitysklands stora behov av svensk järnmalm. För att uppnå detta har i huvudsak mötesprotokoll och verksamhetsberättelser för organisationerna Gruvindustriarbetarförbundet avdelning 1 och Grängesberg LS studerats. I undersökningen utgick jag från fackföreningarna som språkrör för gruvarbetarna och undersökte dem därför som kollektiva aktörer. För att operationalisera undersökningens syfte och problem ställdes tre frågeställningar till respektive organisations källmaterial angående hur organisationerna bedömde den ekonomiska utvecklingen och den politiska situationen samt vilken politisk verksamhet som bedrevs.När det gällde resultaten för organisationernas ekonomiska bedömningar visade dessa att den ekonomiska utvecklingen bedömdes utifrån givna variabler.

One of these theories is Normative power Europe. A theory whose main argument is that the EU is best perceived as a changer of norms. My aim with this thesis is to test this claim and to see if the Union should be regarded as a normative power.

AbstractInom forskningen kring personliga hemsidor på Internet har fokus främst riktats mot identitetskonstruktion, hur jaget presenteras och de psykologiska och sociologiska orsakerna som ligger bakom. Min studie tar ett steg ifrån detta och integrerar studiet av den personliga hemsidan med studiet av den politiska hemsidan. Jag undersöker relationen mellan det personliga och det politiska på svenska privata feministiska hemsidor. Jag har intervjuat fyra skapare och analyserat sju hemsidor. Sammantaget utgör min studie en empirisk neddykning i de svenska privata feministiska hemsidor som finns tillgängliga på Internet anno höst 2003 och vår 2004.

In this essay I examine how a municipal- and an independent upper secondary school compare to the ideal types the Company and the Political organization and how that affects the school practise as it?s described in policy documents. The conclusions are that the municipal school on a number of variables correlate to the ideal type the Political organization. Denna studie handlar om lärares förhållningssätt där syftet är att beskriva och analysera vilka strategier lärare använder för att utmana elevens lärande. Studien baseras på kvalitativ undersökning i form av intervjuer av sju grundskolelärare. Vi valde att hämta vårt empiriska material på olika skolor med hopp om att få kvalitativt skilda utsagor.I teoridelen redogörs det dels för hur läraryrket styrs utifrån gällande politisk styrning samt ekonomiska aspekter. Studien belyser betydelsen av att variera metod och material för att bemöta alla elevers olikheter och olika inlärningsstilar. Individuell utvecklingsplan och portfolio är två redskap för läraren i syfte att dokumentera elevens lärande och utveckling.

The out-of-town retail establishments are part of the dramatic structural changes in the retailing of food and groceries. There are however strong indications suggesting these establishments result in negative externalities concerning areas such as pollution and urban environment. The purpose of this study is to describe and, from an economic perspective, analyse the Swedish political regulations and planning policies concerning the out-of-town supermarkets. The analysis establishes that the current regulations regarding out-of-town retailing do not, due to the occurrence of market failures, produce an optimal situation. It might therefore be necessary to change the planning policies in a more restrictive direction.

In this essay I discuss and analyse if we can witness any signs on regional dimension due to regional representation from our elected representatives in the five constituencies Malmö, Blekinge, Norrbotten, Uppsala and Stockholm. Two seperate terms of office between 1991-94 and 1998-2002 has been compared. In political science there has been much debate about the relationship between voters and their elected. By measuring each and everyone elected representatives in the work of produce introduced bills towards their own constitiency during both terms I have tried to see if there is an occurence of a regional dimension.The theory that´s been applied is based on geographical representation where one might aspect that central metropolitan areas and peripheral regions is somewhat over-represented in legislatures. By using a method of comparison between the five chosen constituencies and theirs elected representatives I have come the the conclusion that there is a weak tendency that this might be the case seen to a regional dimension perspective..

Abstract:The aim of this study has been to investigate (theoretically as well as empirically) the problematic notions of state neutrality and political perfectionism and, in particular, the potentially vast continuum existing between these concepts both in theory and in actual political practice. In order to accomplish this, a conceptual analysis has examined (some of) the arguments for and against state neutrality and political perfectionism, different aspects of neutralism and perfectionism as well as the exact definition of the concepts of ?neutrality of justification? and ?conceptions of the good?. Using a specific (though not entirely uncontested) definition of these concepts, an empirical analysis was made of Swedish parliamentary parties and their cultural policies. The empirical part of the study seemed to confirm one of the basic premises of this study; that state neutrality and perfectionism are often (as has indeed been recognized by critics of state neutrality) intertwined in the business of everyday politics..
