Försäkringsgivarens regressrätt

Huvudsyftet med uppsatsen var att utreda försäkringsgivares regressrätt mot privatpersoner och företag vid skade- och personförsäkring. Regressrätten regleras i 25 § FAL. Bestämmelsen avtalas dock bort i de flesta fall av försäkringsgivaren i syfte att utöka möjligheterna till regress. För att rationalisera och effektivisera regressförfarandet bolagen emellan har flera bolag anslutit sig till en regressöverenskommelse. Samtliga bolag är dock inte anslutna till denna överenskommelse vilket innebär att bolagen ej följer samma policy.

Generös föräldraledighetspolicy - en konkurrensfördel?

En studie om huruvida en generös föräldraledighetspolicy kan bidra till att skapa konkurrensfördelar. Uppsatsen behandlar ett urval av organisationer med erkänd generös föräldraledighetspolicy inbäddad i företagskulturen. Efter en inledande redogörelse av bakgrundsbilden för detta ämne, följer en beskrivning av respektive organisations policy och process. Dessa, tillsammans med teorier huvudsakligen hämtade från området Human Resource Management, är ämnade att utgöra underlag för den analys av och diskussion kring hur ovan nämnda organisationer kan använda sin föräldraledighetspolicy för att skapa långsiktiga konkurrensfördelar. My thesis is based on a qualitative study in which I have selected six professional teachers in a school in Greater Stockholm, and their views on the phenomenon of conflict management. My questions were the following.How teachers perceive the phenomenon of conflict in the world of school?What strategies do teachers use to resolve conflicts with students?In order to analyze my informants, I have chosen different books that deal with conflict man-agement, policy documents and books on the teaching profession meaning. Through my investigation I found that some teachers used tools and strategies through expe-rience and reflections, and resolve conflicts together or individually. My informants described that there are some teachers how choose to hide and pretend not to see the problem.

English title: Part-time work among women in Sweden ? what influences choice of working hours? In the 1960s and 70s a large growth in part-time work amongst women in the Swedish labour market took place. A net inflow of workers into the labour market has been suggested as the main source. However, part-time work is still a common phenomenon among Swedish women; in 2004 almost 40% of all women worked part-time, and women are clearly dominating the part-time sector. A gradual changeover from house work to market work is hardly a valid explanation anymore.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate how students relates to and perceives the schoolswork with the value base. To answer my purpose has been two studies conducted. The first study aimed at finding out students' perceptions regarding the content and concretization of the value base and on their perceptions of participation and retention of this work. This study was conducted using a questionnaire survey.The second study has aimed to highlight the approach embodied by the schools' plans and treatment plans. This sudy has been conducted trough a review of policy documents available on the websites of education departments, municipalities and schools.

Fackförbunden och livslångt lärande : Kritisk analys av livslångt lärande ur ett fackligt perspektiv

Lifelong learning (LLL), a concept dating back to the 1920s, is much used both by the OECD, UNESCO and the EU. But while intergovernmental think-tanks and supranational organisations often use the term in a positive sense, many (not least scholars) are critical of the term. The critique either deals with the lack of a universal definition, that the implicit responsibility for LLL has shifted onto the individual, or that the meaning of the term has shifted from a humanistic one linked to the personal development and a better society to a neoliberal one that involves growth, competition, globalisation and human capital theory. This study is based on interviews with nine trade union representatives on their understandings of lifelong learning. The results showed that while LLL was positively viewed by most, there was virtually no communication vis-à-vis members on the topic, most trade unions have no policy regarding LLL, and responses from representatives were sometimes self-conflicting..

Incentive programmes – a corporate governance perspective on Swedish commercial state owned firms

We would like to learn more about how the restrictive policy against incentive programmes affects the board’s of Swedish state owned commercial firms ability to govern management in an efficient way. We also want to find out if there are different consequences in reference to this that are not directly linked to corporate governance issues. Our empiric observations have been made in order to profoundly explore the subject and examine it through the eyes of professional individuals, all expressing different views and standpoints. We conclude that the most efficient structure is when an active board is complemented by a well structured and individualised incentive programme. However, this thesis conclude that this structure is not possible given the current guidelines and policies employed by the state, which in turn might lead to sub optimizations in the governing..

In a global context the traditional democratic process is facing new challenges. Scholars are talking about a transition from government to governance, where local and regional networks as well as international collaboration are an important part in how regional policy is produced and implemented. In this paper the processes in regional projects funded by the European Union are considered, and related to the traditional democratic process. The study has been fulfilled through informant interviews with representatives from four EU-projects. The interviews are supplemented by a qualitative text analysis of current statutes.

Med arbete i sikte : En studie om sfi-bransch i Linköpings kommun

Syftet med uppsatsen är att analysera huruvida sfi (svenskundervisning för invandrare)-bransch har varit en lyckad socialpolitisk satsning från Linköpings kommuns sida. Med intervjuer som det största empiriska materialet behandlar uppsatsen ämnen som anses vara relevanta för eleven på sfi-bransch. Regionala obalanser och matchningseffektivitet i Sverige 1983-2004

Denna uppsats analyserar matchningseffektiviteten mellan lediga jobb (vakanser) och arbetslösa. Det faktum att den svenska Beveridgekurvan skiftat utåt under 1990-talet är en indikation på att de arbetslösa inte lika effektivt ?matchas? ihop med de lediga jobb som skapas. I uppsatsen identifieras två faktorer som påverkar matchningseffektiviteten; sökbeteendet hos arbetsgivarna och de arbetslösa, samt regionala obalanser mellan utbud och efterfrågan på arbetskraft.
