The aims of this project were to describe the circumstances around dogs being left alone in cars, to investigate owners? knowledge of the risks associated with leaving dogs in cars and the relevant legislation and, finally, to study how changes in the air temperature and air composition in the car affect the dog. The project consisted of a survey of the literature, a questionnaire part and an experimental part. An important conclusion is the importance of the level of knowledge of owners, since there are several ways in which an owner can prevent their dog from heat stroke and, in the case of an eventual accident, their action can have direct consequences in minimizing the long-term damage to the dog and even whether or not it survives. Fewer than half of the owners in the study knew that for a dog suffering heat stroke, the most important thing is to bring the body temperature down. Only a third of dog owners knew that if a dog is left in a warm car and showing signs of heat stress, then the police should be contacted and the dog quickly helped out of the car.

Groupquestionnaires with open questions was formed and three year one classes in uppersecondary school participated. In the process of making the questions a testquestionnaire was tested with one of the three classes as particpants. Information has also been collected throug an interview over the phone with the school´s welfare officer, and the school´s policy dokuments have been read. Social work in schools is mentioned in the study as preventive measures with youths when it comes to bullying, alcohol, drugs, sex and coexistance and tobacco.

I have always been interested in sports, so when it was time to write the paper I chose to write about sports and economic.It has led to this problem: How is the function of management control and planning problems in sports?   Sports clubs are non-profit association and non-profit organizations aim to support members? moral and economic interests. A financial manager will lead the accounting department and have the final responsibility. The finance manager has to work to produce financial results, reports and custom operations (Högfeldt, 2011). A sports club use economic tools, usually budget.

Animal welfare during transport has for a long time been a problem around the world. Many animals are transported in stressful environments for slaughter. Even during Roman and Antiquity times wild animals were transported from Africa to the amusement parks in Rome. The aim of our work was to compare how well Sweden and Denmark are performing their inspections of transports of cattle and pigs for slaughter. Today, overloaded transports and poor treatment is not uncommon in Europe and every year 22 million animals are transported between countries.

This project was initiated by a desire to improve our knowledge about animal welfare. It is a part of a series of projects involving the way dogs are kept in today?s society. The aim of this project was to investigate the dog?s behaviour when left alone in a parked car.

SAMMANFATTNINGLändryggsbesvär är generellt vanligt förekommande i befolkningen och samhällsekonomiskt kostsamt. Riskfaktorer för ländryggsbesvär beskrivs vara flerdimensionella, där nämns främst arbetsrelaterade och psykosociala faktorer. Poliser är en yrkesgrupp där arbetssjukdomar rapporteras vanligt förekommande oavsett kön. Trots det är polisers arbetssituation dåligt utforskad. Syftet med studien är att kartlägga upplevt hälsotillstånd och arbetssituation bland utryckningspoliser med fokus på ländryggsbesvär, som underlag för preventiva åtgärder.

Akademiseringen av officersyrket i Sverige fick sitt genombrott när Försvarshögskolan fick examensrätt 2007. Föreliggande uppsats syftar till att undersöka akademiseringsprocessen inom Försvarsmakten och, om görligt, beskriva vilka konsekvenser och möjligheter akademiseringen gav. Ett vidare syfte är att beskriva vilka bevekelsegrunder som förelåg beslutet att akademisera officersutbildningen.Frågeställningarna är följande: Hur kan, utifrån valda huvuddokument och handlingar, akademiseringen av officersprofessionen i Sverige beskrivas? Vilka jämförelser gjordes med andra nationer och vilka effekter, vilken påverkan, fick detta för framtagandet av strukturen för Försvarshögskolans nuvarande militära utbildningar? Om vi betraktar officersutbildningen som en akademisk yrkesexamen, hur skulle då en alternativ utbildning med en civil akademisk examen och en kortare militär yrkesutbildning kunna vara uppbyggd?Arbetsmetoden är att kritiskt undersöka innehållet i källmaterialet och som mätinstrument används statsvetaren Nils Andréns teoretiska modell för säkerhetspolitisk analys. Arbetet utgår från hypotesen att långsiktiga politiska beslut avseende Försvarsmakten grundas på objektivitet och rationalitet.Undersökningen visar att akademiseringsprocessen löpt i två parallella spår med sinsemellan skilda motiv och tidsrymder.

In the year of 2012, a police project called ?REVA? was established in Sweden. The goal was to increase efficiency in deporting undocumented migrants from Sweden. Two articles relating to the project were published in Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter. One was an open letter to Attorney General Beatrice Ask, written by the famous author Jonas Hassen Khemiri.

AbstractThe purpose of this paper is to examine how the population living in Christiania considers their residential area in relation to the surrounding society, and why you as an individual choose to live there. We have used the qualitative method and we have performed interviews with a total of six persons. We have used Tönnies two notions regarding gemeinschaft and gesellschaft, and Goffmans theory about stigma. We choose these theories because we thought that they were most relevant for our study. Our question at issue is: Why does a person seek to live in an alternative society, with different norms in comparison to the majority society? Through our interview persons we learned their stories and their opinions considering their residential area and we concluded that Christiania differs from the remaining society in several ways.

Strid i bebyggelse är en del av nutidens krigsföring. Uppsatsen handlar om vilka fysiska egenskaper som krävs i strid i bebyggelse, vilka fysiska krav som ställs på en stadsskyttesoldat samt hur man som plutonchef kan lägga upp träningen för sina soldater så att de når dessa krav, hur man kan hantera skador samt skapa motivation.Syftet med denna uppsats är, att identifiera de fysiska egenskaper som krävs i strid i bebyggelse, eventuella brister i de nuvarande särskilda kraven kopplat till tjänstens stridsmiljö och uppgifter, föreslå en utveckling av dessa krav samt föreslå ett periodiserat träningsprogram som kan möjliggöra att nå dessa krav för att på ett enkelt sätt fungera som ett stöd till en officer som är ansvarig för den fysiska utvecklingen i en stadsskyttepluton.Uppsatsen avsåg att undersöka hur ett periodiserat träningsprogram kan se ut genom att identifiera och beskriva de fysiska egenskaper som krävs i strid i bebyggelse. Därigenom erhölls slutsatser som kunde nyttjas för att föreslå ett periodiserat träningsprogram.Uppsatsens resultat kan sammanfattas på följande sätt: Stadsskyttestriden är intensiv och omväxlande i en föränderlig och ofta oländig miljö och terräng.Striden kräver en soldat med god kondition och förmåga att tempoväxla. Genom att höja de krav som idag ställs på stadsskyttesoldater och inrikta dem närmare tjänstens verklighet, medför en målinriktad träning, bättre motivation samt ett bättre slutresultat. På detta sätt kan vi få fram fler soldater som orkar göra rätt under striden.

This analysis explores the psychosocial aspects in relationship to the occupational role as a correctional officer in Sweden. Historically prisons are hierarchically structured with a military organisation used as the basis for a role model. This military type structured organisation is designed to keep the prisoners under constant observation, thus providing direct authority and control by the prison guards over the prison inmates. Data obtained from investigations conducted by the Swedish Government indicate a direct link between the prisoners's living conditions and the prison employee's work duties and environment. The data strongly suggests that the work needs of prison guards have significant priority over the general work conditions of inmates, thus showing that the status for the occupational role was relatively low.

The aim of the study was to examine which approach future social workers have regarding specific competence in the meeting with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer clients. Previous research shows that LGBTQ people have a low confidence towards social services, police and courts and say they face discrimination and degrading treatment to a greater extent than the heterosexual population. Research shows that education and better skills of LGBTQ culture among professionals can change the situation.The essay is based on a model of cultural competence in working with sexual minorities and people with a transgender expression. The model defines the meaning of an LGBTQ perspective and is designed to improve social work with LGBTQ clients.The study is quantitative and empirical data consists of 203 survey responses from students with a long experience of the social work education. The analysis of the results is based on the cultural competence three principles; attitudes, knowledge and skills.

The aim of this essay is to describe and analyse the legal complications that arise in connection with preliminary investigations involving several juvenile offenders, where all suspected persons have not attained the age of criminal liability. It is also intended to give a broad analysis of the concept preliminary investigation, with particular emphasis on juvenile offenders. It further analyses the legislation and legal complications on the basis of a rule of law perspective. The method previously used is court dogmatic, where in front law text, preparatory work, case law and legal doctrine have been used in order to present the existing sources relating to the subject matter of discussion. The criminal investigative bodies consider juvenile offenders are regulated under the Swedish RB 23 - 28 chapters, FUK and LUL.

Bakgrund och problemformulering: Revisions-­ och konsultbyrån Grant Thornton genomförde i september 2008 en undersökning med 400 VD:ar i svenska företag. Resultatet visade att svenska företag är tämligen duktiga på att kunna fo?rutspå omvärldsförändringar men att det alltför sällan leder till någon form av strategisk planering och handling. Företagets Chief Financial Officer (CFO), som ansvarig för ekonomifunktionen och som den med bäst insyn i företagets finansiella ställning, har en nyckelroll i företagets förmåga att hantera omvärldsförändringar. Det är därför vitalt att CFO arbetar strategiskt och kan vidta snabba åtgärder vid behov och därmed inte bedriver en reaktiv styrning där åtgärder vidtas först när problem redan har hunnit uppstå.

Syfte: Uppsatsen syftar till att förklara hur byggherreföretag investerar i konstnärlig gestaltning. Genom analysen besvaras undersökningsfrågorna som handlar om vilka investeringar och strategier som tillämpas av byggherrarna för konstnärlig gestaltning, samt vilka faktorer som påverkar deras beslut att arbeta med konst och kultur.Teoretiskt perspektiv: Studien görs ur ett företagsperspektiv med hjälp av teorier om hur olika värden kan genereras utifrån kulturen tillsammans med teorier om strategier, investering och beslutsfattande.  Metod: Vi har gjort en kvalitativ studie med en abduktiv ansats. Undersökningen är gjord som en explorativ fallstudie. I en kommun har vi valt tre verksamma byggföretag med pågående byggprojekt.
