Följande examensarbete är ett gestaltningsinriktat planförslag för en ny stationsnära stadsdel i Landskrona stad som vidareutvecklar områdets kollektivtrafiknära läge. Den fysiska utformningen bygger på en nätstruktur med gena stråk och fysiska rumsbildningar som skapar målpunkter, grönstruktur och utblickar i landskapet. Planförslaget baseras på en diskussion om skala, utformning och synintryck med slutsats att den fysiska grundutformningen och byggnadernas arkitektur hör ihop, där nyckeln är variation, mänsklig skala och mängden synintryck som miljön erbjuder. Landskrona är en sundsnära mellanstor stenstad i Skåne med karaktär av befästningsstad, parker, kolonier och tydliga bebyggelseårsringar. Staden har också en industrihistoria som varvsstad där varvskrisen på 1970-talet slog hårt mot staden med stor arbetslöshet till följd. Än idag finns ett verksamt varv kvar och kranmastar utgör ett tydligt riktmärke i staden. I arbetet ligger fokus på skala och utformning, två nybyggnadsprojekt har analyserats, stadsdelen Örestad i Köpenhamn och Bo01-området, Västra Hamnen, Malmö. Även skala och stadsplanemönster i Landskrona har studerats.

Företag och organisationer har sedan industrialismens första år arbetat med att försöka effektivisera produktionen. Effektiv produktion leder till billigare produkter, som i sin tur leder till ökad försäljning. Ett bra hjälpmedel för att uppnå denna effektivisering är införande av ett MPS-system. Systemet hjälper till att planera, organisera, samordna, styra och kontrollera materialflödet i företaget.Införandet av detta system är dock inte alldeles trivialt. Många experter säger att implementering av MPS-system är svårare än att introducera en ny produkt eller att etablera sig på en helt ny marknad.

This paper studies, from a client perspective, how three Swedish municipalities work with information about a voucher system in homecare. The paper is a qualitative study using structured informant interviews and analysis of documents. The interviewees are responsible of information about the voucher system in the municipalities. The studied documents describe and clarify the voucher system of the municipality. Neo-institutional organization theory is used to analyse the result.

This thesis aims to discuss how an information system and its users may adapt to each other. The main discussion is how to create an information system that is adaptable without losing its organising properties. The thesis uses a holistic approach to the topic and the areas being dealt with are information architecture, interactive information retrieval and information searching. The practical work consisted of constructing a database for Autoliv?s Research and Development branch.

Nowdays an efficient production is critical to achieve for companies competing on the market for steel cutting tools. One of such companies is Halmstad based Tooling Support Halmstad AB that manufactures threading-taps, threading-dies and parting off tools, towards a centralized warehouse in Schiedam, Holland. The large amount of different products, approximately 2500 is a big contributor to the problem along with a new order system that creates a demand of low setup times. Previously the company was forwarded orders through quarter based prognoses which enabled planning of the production over a longer time span. Currently the newer order system ZENIT is in use and the company thereby gets their orders weekly.

The aim of this study is to investigate how mathematics teachers use formative assessment to make the course objectives clear to the student. This is part of a wider aim in Sweden to find ways for improving mathematics teaching. Qualitative semi-structrured interviews and observations were used for collecting data. Different approaches to integrate formative assessment in their classrooms is discussed: questioning, discussions in whole-class, group work and assessment and feedback. The analysis of the results indicated that the teachers thought differently about how to integrate the course objectives in their planning.

The Swedish Aviation Safety Authority has decided to standardise a classification system for reporting deviations found in inspections. The purpose of a classification system is that similar deviations always should be reported in the same way since this will enable better decisions regarding different risk areas. The inspectors are therefore constrained to use a standardised classification system and are not free to use their own words when reporting deviations. A hierarchal classification system with predefined phrases is in aviation referred to as taxonomy. Taxonomy is already in use when reporting accidents and incidents but not when reporting deviations found in inspections.

During the past few years an increased attention has been paid to environmental issues in the construction and property sector in Sweden. In order to simplify the work with these issues a Swedish environmental certification system for buildings called Miljöbyggnad has been developed. This thesis aims to investigate the opinion of a selected number of selected property owners of Miljöbyggnad. From that basis recommendations and actions for the future work with the system will be presented.The investigation has been conducted through personal interviews with five property owners. The main issues that the interviews have been based on are their purpose, experiences, perceived complications and future prospects in terms of certification using Miljöbyggnad.The system intends to be cost-effective, simple and to offer a relevant environmental assessment of buildings and the result from the report indicates that this is largely fulfilled.

Simulation is a vital tool during development of JAS 39 Gripen, since money and time can be saved.The Auxiliary and Emergency Power System, AEPS, is a subsystem of the secondary power system in Gripen. It has the function of providing the aircraft with electrical and hydraulical power before activation and after deactivation of the main engine. The system also functions as backup in case of a safety critical problem in the main power supply system. The system basically consists of a control unit and an auxiliary gearbox. The gearbox is driven by an air turbine.

Ronneby torg är beläget centralt i Ronneby stadskärna i sydöstra Blekinge. På denna plats går det att identifiera tre problem som utgör brist på människor (social hållbarhet), rumslighet (mötesplats) och vegetation (ekologisk hållbarhet). Tidigare har torgets södra del innefattat en stadspark vid namn ?Gröna Torget? medan hela torget idag utgörs av en hårdgjord yta med inslag av träd i dess kanter. Det finns ett behov från Ronneby kommun att utveckla torget som en mötesplats, då kommunen utlyst en förslagstävling av just denna anledning.

The aim of this study is to describe and analyse the creation and the design of a new public library. In order to concretize this, the study sets out from two examples, the public libraries in Simrishamn and Landskrona. The material used to attain the purpose of the study consists partly of interviews, partly of literature on the subject. To be able to put these two libraries in their historical context, the essay also provides a short overview of the development of public library buildings in Sweden during the 20th century. Another aspect that is discussed is the actual procedure of planning a public library from scratch.

The accounting information system comprises budgeting, accounting, and costing. The accounting information system has, traditionally, constituted an integrated system where the different elements collaborate. If ABC is introduced this order is disturbed, since ABC is based on another logic which cannot easily be integrated with budget and accounting. ABC, therefore, is usually used parallely to the conventional costing method. There are, however, companies that have taken its ABC one step further by letting it replace the old costing model and integrate it with the accounting information system.

Ett nytt musik- och teaterhus byggs vid Munksjön i centrala Jönköping. Dit ska Smålands Musik och Teater (SMoT) flytta sin verksamhet. Den nya byggnaden kommer att innehålla ett flertal scener varav två av dessa scener ska utrustas med ett automatiserat övermaskineri: Teaterscenen och Konsertscenen. De ska utrustas med samma system fast den senare i en mindre omfattande installation. Detta arbete innehåller en studie av ett generellt system och en analys av dess delfunktioner.

Tanken bakom examensarbetet var att undersöka huruvida de äldre system som finns i bruk ute i organisationer idag uppfattas som ett problem samt vad som i sådana fall görs åt problemet. Ett flertal författare har under åren förklarat hur förändringar i system leder till en försämrad struktur vilket förr eller senare orsakar ett försvårat underhållsarbete av system. För att ta reda på hur väl litteraturen stämmer överrens med svenska organisationer så har vi intervjuat fyra respondenter för att få deras syn på problematiken. Denna har sedan jämförts och diskuterats mot de premisser vi funnit i litteraturen. Det har framkommit att det litteraturen inom området menar, stämmer till stor del med det våra respondenter berättat.

This exam report contains studies about how the weather affects the construction site from a planning and productivity perspective. In 1960?s the contractors started to build during the winter, since then the demands to obtain a good construction has been higher on both the contractor and then promoter.In this report you will see how the different actors at the construction site handle the weather problems. By several interviews of the actors at the construction site there have been opinions about the weather situation which has been collected. To get a wide perspective of the problem, field studies from four different construction sites been made.Weather statistics over Halmstad is a mayor part of this report.
