The aim with this essay is to investigate the attitude that employers have towards conflicts at the workplace and how this affects their way to prevent and deal with conflicts among employees. Another part of the essay is to discuss pedagogical issues related to learning through conflicts. With this aim and these questions of issues, we have found out which attitude employers have towards conflicts at the workplace as well as how they prevent and deal with them. We have also investigated which opportunities for further development employers sees in situations of conflict. This study is based on qualitative interviews with six women who are head of units within the communal area.

This thesis investigates lacks in today?s use of the ERP-system Mapaz Affärssystem inthe production planning at Solna Pressgjuteri, and possible improvements. Today thedates calculated by the program to plan the orders are inaccurate and the ordersequence is not optimal, and therefore continuous manual corrections are needed.The approach was to study the program Mapaz to understand how it works, andidentify available parameters for input and output in the different tools offered in theprogram. By studying old lists of planned orders and relevant parameters in Mapaz forindividual orders, production groups, products and operations, the connectionbetween input and output parameters could be understood.Participating in planning meetings and discussions with the company behind theERP-system identified the current usage, desideratum and possibilities with theavailable tools. These were then matched to describe the reasons to the insufficientplanning and form possible actions for improvement.The work has showed poor understanding for the ERP-system and its functions, assome tools intended to assist the planning were not used, and some even usedincorrectly.

This paper deals with the problems that can occur during the move of an entire collection. Thecollection discussed is located at the Gothenburg Maritime Museum and it has beenconsidered to move the collection to a storage where the other collections of the museum iskept. No decisions are taken but this is a suggestion of how it could be done. The collectionwhich is studied contains of different kinds of objects like for example paintings, work onpaper and photographs. The whole moving project is looked into and all the different parts areanalyzed.

Sweden adopted a new anti-discrimination legislation 2009, DiskL, which aim to prevent direct and indirect discrimination in matters of employment and occupation.According to directives and practices from EU, pregnant workers are entitled a special protection from discrimination during employment situations. The purpose of this essay is to study the legal protection for pregnant workers in employment situations and also analyze whether male workers have similar protection when they plan parental leave. Both regulations from the EU-law and the Swedish law are presented and discussed. This because Swedish discrimination legislation is largely influenced by the EU-law.The study confirms that pregnant workers have a strong legal protection against discrimination through directives from the EU and DiskL. Employers must include this protection in employment situations.

Bakgrund: Urininkontinens beskrivs som ett vanligt problem och medför ofta både fysiskt och psykiskt lidande. För att förstå dessa kvinnor krävs en inblick i hur de uppfattar sitt dagliga liv. Syfte: Syftet med denna litteraturöversikt var att belysa kvinnors erfarenheter av att leva med urininkontinens. Metod: En litteraturöversikt gjordes och 13 resultatartiklar inkluderades. Analysarbetet genomfördes med hjälp av kvalitativ innehållsanalys och resulterade i tre teman och åtta underteman.

Kriser och allvarliga händelser sker på svenska företag varje år. Krisplanernas förekomst inom privata företag är låg jämfört med den offentliga sektorn, vilket kan medföra att kriberedskapen hos privata företag inte är så god som den skulle kunna vara. Syftet med denna studie är att fånga uppfattningen av hur man på olika nivåer i privata företag beskriver förekomst, användande och implementering av krisplaner. De roller som studien undersöker är chef, mellanchef samt medarbetare. Totalt har sju stycken kvalitativa intervjuer genomförts och analyserats utifrån innehållsanalys med meningsbärande enheter, koder och kategorier.

The purpose of this paper is to examine how the revised Planning and Building Act (SFS 2010:900) have influenced the comprehensive planning in Swedish municipalities. A focus is directed at examining how the new law regulates a greater consideration to climate aspects and the what consequences this results in regarding the implementation of the law in Swedish municipalities comprehensive plans.The paper is a case study, containing both quantitative and qualitative methods. The case study is based on three municipal comprehensive plans. Based on quantitative material three municipalities have been selected to constitute the sample of this study. These municipalities are A?lvsbyn, Sollentuna and Olofstro?m.

In 1999 the childbearing increased, which in combination with the closure of a number ofpreschools led to the shortage and reduced capacity in available places for youngchildren. The lack of places in preschools has led us to try to find a solution to theproblem and in order to solve the problem we have interviewed personnel of preschoolsin Halmstad. The persons we met were asked to list advantages and disadvantages oftheir preschool and also to come up with innovative solutions and new ideas of how todevelop a satisfactory preschool. This was the basis for us when we drew our drawingsand our main objective was to find a new template for the development of pre-fabricatedpreschools.When drawing a new and modern preschool a number of considerations have to be made,first of all the main objective for the children is play and playtime, a second objective issound reduction and laws about sound reduction. Another consideration is how toconstruct the building and which method to be used, for instance should industrialtechniques be considered and pros and cons be listed.The main disappointment amongst the preschool personnel was that they had noinfluence in the planning stage of the new development of the preschool.

Problem: How has Nordea been adapted and influenced by the change of Basel II and how have the employees reacted on the new change?Purpose: This essay has a purpose to study how Basel II has influenced the credit rating at Nordea. We also want to study how the employees have reacted to the new change.Method: To receive the information that was necessary for this study interviews were performed with the employees at Nordea. The interviews were an effective way to start a discussion and by that we received important information.Basel II is new capital cover rules that the Swedish banks have introduced. These new rules mean that it will become more important with safety when it comes to risk management and credit giving.

Utvecklingen av seriekulturen har genomgått en drastisk förändring i och med streamingtjänsternas intåg på marknaden. Konsumtionen av serier har skjutit i höjden och produktionsbolag sänder ut nya serier på löpande band. Människor har även funnit nya sätt att konsumera sina serier på. Men är denna utveckling positiv för människors vanor och levnadsmönster i vardagen?  Denna uppsats behandlar ett ännu relativt outforskat område inom mediekulturen och syftar till att skapa en språngbräda för framtida studier inom ämnet.Uppsatsen innehåller en hypotes om att människor idag har påverkats av den nya utvecklingen av streamingtjänster och att deras vanor och mönster har förändrats.

Kiruna stad kom till år 1900 då kronan antog stadsplanen. Stadens grundare är gruvföretaget LKAB (Luossavaara-Kiirunavaara Aktiebolag). Det är tack vare järnmalmen i Kiruna som gruvföretaget etablerade sig där och samhället växte fram. LKABs förste disponent Hjalmar Lundbohm anses vara skaparen av Kiruna då han såg till så att samhället blev ett mönstersamhälle.Järnmalmen bryts i en av världens största underjordiska gruva, denna gruva lutar in mot staden vilket har gjort att sprickor och deformationer har drabbat marken. Detta har lett till att det måste ske en stadsomvandling, nya Kiruna flyttas österut mot Tuolluvaara.

Ravelsmarks gård have now reached the stage when there are few options for the future. The options are either a construction of completely new farm buildings or a winding up of the milk production. Present on the farm today there is 65 dairy cows plus recruitment. 44 cows stand in long-stalls and 20 cows stand in short-stalls. The objective of this study was to examine the profitability of a completely new cowshed. In order to get costs for investments different milking systems and equipment for feedstuff have been compared. The systems in the investment budget have been chosen on recommendations from advisers, salesmen and on the basis on what is suitable for the farm. One system where a so-called mix feeder wagon is used for the roughage seemed to be best suited for Ravelsmark. The different prices obtained for the manure well show that there are possibilities to decrease the investment costs.

En ny strandskyddslag träder i kraft den 1 juli 2009. Anledningen till att ett nytt lagförslag har vuxit fram är att det har ansetts finnas brister i nuvarande strandskyddsregler och det har medfört att dagens regler är på väg att urholkas. Stränderna vid kusten och runt de större sjöarna kommer att få ett förstärkt skydd medan lättnader i strandskyddet kan bli aktuellt vid sjöar på landsbygden. Den nya lagen möjliggör en ökad samordning av miljöbalken och plan- och bygglagen genom att kommunerna kommer att få ansvar för upphävande och dispens från strandskyddet vilket gör att strandskyddsfrågorna blir en naturlig del av den kommunala samhällsplaneringen. Kommunerna ska dessutom i sin översiktsplan utse områden som kommer att bli aktuella för lättnader i strandskyddet på landsbygden.

The purpose of the study is to show the conditions there are by working with aesthetic expressions in pre-school and how these activities are implemented. Questions that we are going to discuss are: What are the conditions for working with aesthetics in pre-school? How is the work implemented when it comes to aesthetic expressions? Our ambition has been to study what conditions it takes to use aesthetic expressions in a way that is meaningful for the children and also show the conditions and alternative methods that are present in different schools. We have used a web survey to reach a result in the study. This web survey includes questions about the different aesthetic activities and has given us the answers to the questions above. The result shows that there are different ways of working and different views at aesthetic expressions.

With this as a background it is of interest for the forest owner association to know how forest owners think about voluntary retentions, the methods of increasing production and quality and if there are differences between those who have chosen to certify their forest and those who haven?t. This kind of knowledge is of importance, to in an effectively and adjusted way, help the forest owners achieve a profitable forestry. The objective of this master thesis is to increase knowledge about private forest owners? opinions of the methods of increasing production and quality and to what extent these methods are used.
