The main purpose of this paper is to examine how students in school year nine in the Swedish school come in contact with history outside of the school context. The paper also focuses on, if and how the students consider the contact with history as something different than, or similar to the history education that takes place during school hours, the student´s interest in history will also be examined. To gather the student?s opinions on these subjects, I have done interviews with eight students divided into two groups, with one group consisting of four girls and one group with two boys and two girls. The interviews took place at the students school located in a smaller city in Värmlands län, Sweden.

Syfte: Att med hjälp av teorier och olika metoder komma fram med förbättringsförslag till produkten ippi så att den kan bli mer användbar för personer med utvecklingsstörning.Metod: I detta examensarbete användes kvalitativa metoder såsom: intervjuer, workshop, litteraturstudier och analys av produkten.Slutsats: Det framkom i slutet av studien att ljud, färger och bilder är viktiga aspekter vid utveckling av ippi, och som både personalen från verksamheten och FoU i Sörmland skulle uppskatta i ippi..

The present study deals with the scope of action available to a social worker when analyzing, assessing and proposing measures regarding young persons experiencing social problems. The interest in the subject area emanates from the fact that the number of youth placed in different forms of round the clock out-of-home care in Sweden increases, whereas research in the subject shows that such placement gives few positive results and sometimes even has negative consequences for their development.The study investigates how the preconditions of the social worker influence their scope of possible action, in particular as regards their place of work, the situation of the individual dealt with, and the profession itself being one based both on scientific evidence and knowledge gained by experience. Lipsky?s theory on ?street-level bureaucracy? and Hasenfelds theory on human servicing organizations form the theoretical framework of the present study. The empirical input comes from interviews with focus groups of active social workers.The analysis of the interviews shows that social workers generally feel that they have a broad scope of action as far as the regulatory framework and office management are concerned.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to investigate the importance of a school library for youths, age 14-16, from their perspective. We intend to study how they use and experience the school library both for educational- and leisure related purposes. We also intend to inquire their possibility to influence their school library. The literature that has been used consists of material from research concerning youth culture and school library.

Denna studie jämför kvalitativt och kvantitativt fördelningen mellan evidentialer i de uraliska språken med Andersons (1986) kriterier som utgångspunkt och grammatikor skrivna om språken som material. Strategierna för att förmedla evidentialitet består såväl av fristående partiklar som modus och tempus, med en större tendens mot modus i den östra änden av det uraliska språkområdet, tempus i de centrala delarna och partiklar i de västra språken. Samtliga av dessa konstruktioner har i stort sitt ursprung i grammatikaliseringsprocesser, med undantag för eventuella språkkontaktsliga inlånsprocesser i vissa språk..

Effektivitet och rättvisa är det övergripande målet och budgeten är ett viktigt styrinstrument. Enligt Erlingsdottir (1999) överförs idéer urskiljningslöst till offentlig förvaltning från privat sektor, där de förväntas föra med sig den öppna marknadens mest åtråvärda egenskaper. This thesis examines the power of developing countries within the World Trade Organization (WTO). The research question is if there is a change in the power relations between developing countries and developed countries from the establishment of the WTO in 1995 and until mid 2006, and if so, why this change is taking place? The thesis has its theoretical starting-point within regime theory and views it from a critical theoretical perspective. A multidimensional why of dealing with the concept of power is being used to answer if there is a change in the power relations? The conclusion is that there is a small change in the power relations and that the developing countries are gaining more, but limited power.

 The purpose of this study was to investigate registered nurses experiences about giving support to relatives to patients within palliative home care. This study was descriptive with qualitative approach. The data collection was made in the form of semi structured qualitative interviews which took place in a Swedish city of medium size, in an area for palliative homecare. Six registrated nurses were interviewed which all gave informed consent. The study suffered no losses and permission from the director of the concerned department had been given prior to the start of this study.

This essay is focused on the questions of and responsibility for where, when, how and why communication and meetings through archaeology should take place. I have critically studied Swedish public archaeology through three diverse archaeological excava­tions, one took place in the end of the 1980s, and two others in 2012.I have asked for under what circum­stances and with which goals the public efforts become possible. I have inter­viewed leaders for the archaeological excavations and/or the public efforts and questi­o­ned how and why they reached out to the public. I also searched for results and effects in order to problematize and value the public activities.Through interpretation of the resear­ched material it becomes clear that economic issues as well as archaeo­logists interests and engagements are of vital importance for public archaeology. Today, nine out of ten municipalities are active on social media and it has become increasingly popular among municipalities that make use of placemarketing to promote their particular region. A problem that is raised in this study is that the population of the municipalities in northern Sweden often is in decline. The purpose of this study is to investigate how a democratic-controlled organization such as Luleå Municipality uses the social media Facebook in its placemarketing, to highlight a place of scale and to attract new residents and stakeholders to move to or visit the city. In order to answer the purpose I have with the help of a critical discourse analysis examined how Luleå Municipality using social media Facebook in their marketing of Luleå as a place. The results were then analyzed using theories of placemarketing, Norrland and the market-oriented municipality.

Hur företagen tar sitt ansvar för sin inverkan på samhället och visardet utåt blir allt viktigare. Det här refereras till Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR, somidag kan sägas vara ett viktigt verktyg för att uppnå differentiering. För mindre modeföretagkan CSR vara en utmaning på grund av begränsade resurser, men genom att se det som enkälla till möjlighet och innovation bör det implementeras i verksamheten för att på sikt kunnaleda till ökad lönsamhet. Syftet med undersökningen var att undersöka hur mindremodeföretag på svenska marknaden kan implementera CSR och uppfylla CSR-kriterier.

Since Sweden joined the European Union all Swedish fruit and vegetables are classified according to EU Quality standards. One important function is the product description and how it can facilitate the trade; for example in better comparing prices and also to guarantee the quality of the product. This quality standards or product descriptions are written as words of an Act and obligatory for all countries that has joined the EU. It?s often a demand from the customers to be certificated according to some of many certificating systems. One example is the common worldwide GLOBAL GAP-certification system created by the organisation EUREP which represents the leading European retail traders.

Bakgrund/problem: Innovativa entreprenöriella företag skapar både tillväxt och arbetstillfällen i de samhällen de verkar i. Det är därför viktigt för vår välfärd att den typen av företag bildas och lyckas etablera sig. Att starta ett innovativt entreprenöriellt bolag är dock riskfyllt eftersom många nystartade företag går i konkurs. Forskare har på senare år visat att en bra affärsmodell är väldigt viktigt för nystartade företag och modeller har tagits fram för hur en affärsmodell ska utvecklas för att göra ett nystartat företag framgångsrikt. Innovativa entreprenöriella företag möter dock utmaningar som andra företag slipper och de affärsmodeller som tagits fram för vanliga entreprenöriella företag kan därför antas vara otillräckliga för de som ska starta ett innovativt entreprenöriellt företag.
