Many of the schools premises are neglected and the physical environment has not been prioritised. Instead the focus is set on scientific learning methods and pedagogic. The need for an environmental shift has not got an essential place in the governing documents for schools, although the focus on school premises should be suited to the purpose of the activity and for the pupils needs. Today the interest and the need of research within the physical environment is evermore increasing. The Swedish Work Environment Authority, present in their activityplan for 2006, that the schools premises and equipment is not adjusting to today?s activity and it is in bad condition that can lead to work-related injuries.The purpose of this essay is to bring to light a different pedagogic train of thought around the surrounding environments importance, for students learning and to compare these with our study of a selection of classrooms and what the teachers to these classrooms consider about the environments importance.

Denna undersökning syftar till att undersöka och utvärdera den agila projektmetodiken med inriktning på Scrum. Vattenfallsmetoden berörs även med avsikt att tjäna som kontrast till agil projektmetodik och Scrum. Att arbeta utefter en specifik projektmetod eller anamma ett agilt förhållningssätt kan bidra till att rätt produkt utvecklas och att undvika att projektet misslyckas. Undersökningen baseras på tre grundpelare; litteraturstudie, intervjuer och undersökning av befintliga studier. Dessa ligger till grund för de resultat som presenteras och diskuteras i uppsatsen med avsikt att kartlägga förekommande fenomen i projekt bedrivna efter en agil metod. I uppsatsen redogörs för och diskuteras resultatet av bedrivna intervjuer med personer i IT-branschen samt resultatet av befintliga studier utförda på bland annat Microsoft och Adobe Systems.

The aim of this essay is to examine three separate Swedish public libraries and their respective websites on the grounds of the usability sciences. I firstly had to summarize the main properties of the usability-field in order to gain an extended knowledge of its purposes and possible usage for today?s library systems. I was then able to apply the extended knowledge in the examination of the three library websites and the purpose of determining whether or not they were designed according to the standards set by the usability-sciences.Usability is a rather new science that deals with the dissection and examination of computer-based systems, in order to find the key components that make systems user-friendlier. With user needs being the main focus of its research, usability tries to meet all the different needs of the modern user and construct systems that are less system-centered and more user-centered.

The purpose of this thesis is to study the relationship between the definition and bibliographical classification of a certain academic subject; social anthropology. The theoretical framework consists of views held in Information Science regarding the definition and classification of subjects. The methodological onset is based on hermeneutical concepts that allow an extended analysis of abstract structures of thought. This analysis comprises of two parts; a descriptive analysis and a comparative analysis. The result of the descriptive analysis, whose aim is to describe the academic subject social anthropology, shows that this is not easy to define, instead it is nowadays almost the same as cultural anthropology.

Abuse of alcohol is one of the biggest problems that society faces today. There are between three and four hundred thousand abusers in Sweden. In addition there are about three hundred thousand over consumers. The government bill proposed in 1977 gave the labour market most of the responsibility to solve the problem. They thought a meaningful job and a spirit of community were the most important factors to decrease abuse of alcohol and social rejection.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att undersöka om konsekvenserna av uppsägning på grund av arbetsbrist blir ett arbetsmiljöproblem för de anställda som blir kvar på en arbetsplats efter en massuppsägning. Anledningen till att jag har valt att skriva den här uppsatsen är att jag är intresserad av frågor om arbetsmiljö och hur anställda påverkas av en ökad arbetsbelastning och vilka faktorer som påverkar den psykosociala arbetsmiljön.

The essay deals with the understanding of the two key concepts from Sein und Zeit (SZ) mentioned in the headline, including a debate on the issue of das Man in Inquiry: an Interdisciplinary Journal of Philosophy. The essay deals with gender aspects on climate change adaption. The aspects consist of the fact that women in Sweden drive cars less than men, and that women in the developing world are more affected by natural disasters arising from global warming. This study was carried out in the municipality of Huddinge, a suburb to Stockholm, by interviewing one Agenda 21 coordinator, one planner and one student in genderstudies. I also attended a meeting in the Committee for built environment in the Huddinge Municipality, to ask the politicians questions and observe gender structures during the meeting. The results also consist of a search for gender-related words in the documents used in the essay.The results are analysed using ecofeminsim, a theory that connects woman subordination and environmental destruction.
