This study aims to examine how the interventions for homeless persons in the municipality of Kalmar are organized. The study is based on four half-structured qualitative interviews with both representatives from different instances and also from persons who have experience of being homeless.The theoretical bases we have used to analyze the material are organization theory, specifically the concept of bureaucracy. Our results show that homelessness is not seen as a problem in itself, since the general view is that homeless people often have a complex problem scenario where drug- and alcohol abuse and mental illness are common.It is often the latter that takes priority in the interventions and the housing question is therefore neglected. We also found that social services do not have a satisfactory structure around the organization of the work on homelessness. They do not have any specific device in Kalmar that focus on homelessness issues with the result that the existing units are forced to take care of the work of homelessness.

Six qualitative interviews with such professionals were performed and subsequently analyzed. Since the method of this study is qualitative, no claim of generalizability is made. The interview material has been categorized into themes by means of coding. The result of the study is presented according to those themes.

Korruptionen i Kina beror på flera olika faktorer där de huvudsakliga är ekonomiska, kulturella och kontrollmässiga. Det finns klara korrelationer mellan att Kina är ett relativt fattigt land och det faktum att där finns en utbredd korruption, något som däremot inte är exklusivt för Kina. Något som dock är mer unikt för Kina, och som vi också funnit påverkar korruptionen, är det kulturella fenomenet guanxi som verkar i gränslandet mellan det lagliga och det vi anser korrupt. Den utbredda korruptionen i landet urholkar också det juridiska IP-skyddet och leder till att skyddet måste övervägs på fler plan än bara det rent juridiska. För att förebygga och motverka pågående intrång av IP är goda kontakter med statliga myndigheter både på central och på lokal nivå mycket viktiga.

The aim with this paper is to study Karl Popper?s view on realism and relativism. Further aim is to see whether those ideas have been consistent over the years. The paper argues that Popper since his first interest in philosophy has taken a realistic and antirelativistic attitude. Only his arguments for this position have been developed to meet his critics.Common sense speaks for realism but can neither be proven nor refuted.
