The purpose of this study was to examine how young managers (26-32 years old) in municipal old-age care organizations, in Skåne and Blekinge, experience their professional roles as managers in relation to their age. One of the questions asked in this study was whether managers experienced that their age affected their managerial position, and in that case, how? In order to investigate this, a qualitative method was used, including interviews and observations. Seven interviews with young managers were conducted. My approach in the working process was influenced by Grounded theory as defined by Glaser and Strauss (1968).

Studien syftar till att få en djupare förståelse för hur sångare använder och upplever olika verktyg för att forma och kommunicera musik, vilka verktyg de prioriterar samt vilken funktion dessa verktyg fyller. För att undersöka detta har jag utgått från olika teorier om musikalisk kommunikation samt ett multimodalt och socialsemiotiskt perspektiv med fokus på kommunikation som en social process av teckenskapande. Jag har genomfört åtta kvalitativa intervjuer med sångare som arbetar/arbetat professionellt med sång inom olika genrer. Resultaten visar att sångarnas musikaliska kommunikation formas och uttrycks genom ett användande av flera olika verktyg varav röstteknik, samspel, publikens förväntningar, personlighet och tradition är de viktigaste. Sångarnas användande och prioritering av dessa olika verktyg kan sammanfattas i olika övergripande förhållningssätt som sångarna har till sin musikaliska kommunikation, varav tradition och personlighet är de mest framträdande förhållningssätten.

Abstract? Background: ?Breast?cancer is the?most?common cancer for?women,?with?over 8000?of?cancer?cases?per?year.?Surgery?is the?most?common form?of?treatment. Basis?of?illness?and?the?loss?of?a?breast?can?be a?big?trauma for the?individual?and?affect?many?aspects.?Aim: The?aim?of?this?study?was?to?investigate?health-related?quality?of?life?and?psychosocial?situation and the?need?for support and?care?for?women?who?undergone?a?mastectomy?with?or?without?reconstruction.?Method: The?study?design?was?a?descriptive?study?with?qualitative?approach.?The?selection?was?strategically?consisting?of?the?eight?women?from?five?cities?which?had?undergone?mastectomy?with?or?without?reconstruction. The?interviews?were?semi-structured?individual?that?analyzed?using? content?analysis.?Results:All?of?the?women?felt?that?the?body?changed?after?the?mastectomy.? Feelings?of?insecurity?and?discomfort?were?common.?Among?those?who?underwent?reconstruction?were?all?dissatisfied?with?the?results.

Tidigare forskning (t.ex. Miller & Lynam, 2001) har påvisat att intagna i fängelse harlägre nivåer i personlighetsegenskapen samvetsgrannhet än ostraffade individer. Enstudie i Sverige (Eriksson, 2010) har funnit motsatsen. Det råder viss oenighet inomvetenskapen om sambanden mellan samvetsgrannhet och psykopati hos kriminella. Syftetmed föreliggande studie var att undersöka skillnaderna mellan straffade och ostraffadeindivider samt utreda motstridigheterna i litteraturen.

BACKGROUND Until 1988, it was forbidden to neuter male dogs in Sweden without a veterinary medical cause, so there is clearly no long tradition of this procedure in healthy dogs. According to the website of The Swedish Kennel Club (SKK), February 11, 2011, there has been an increase of castrated male dogs in Sweden. They see this increase as worrying, especially in cases of the less common breeds, where it is most important to maintain the gene pool. The SKK expresses concern that castration is used as a tool to influence the personality of dogs, instead of training and education of the dog. They write that castration should be preceded by a discussion initiated by the veterinarian, where the pros and cons of castration are weighed against each other.

A study of how the sculpture group Ecstasy of Saint Teresaand the Cornaro chapel have been described and used in literature of art history.This study aims to investigate how the sculpture group Ecstasy of Saint Teresa and the Cornarochapel has been written about and presented in literature about art history. The method has been tostudy literature, to visit the Cornaro chapel, and to make comparisons between pictures, texts andown experiences.The questions set out to be answered was; How has the Cornaro chapel and the Ecstasy of SaintTeresa been described and interpreted in literature of art history? What kind of pictures are beingused to illustrate the chapel? What is in focus and what is withheld in the presentation of the chapel,in text and in pictures? Is it possible to see a change, in how art historians write about the Cornarochapel, over time?Reading and comparing the texts and pictures that illustrates the literature, makes visible how thebaroque period, Gianlorenzo Bernini, Teresa av Avila and the Cornaro chapel has been presented inthe chosen literature, and answered the questions.The similarities between the Cornaro chapel and a theater stage, Bernini's interest in the theaterand his devout Catholicism, as well as the Counter-reformation's use of art to reach their goal ofmaking people more devout to Catholicism, is in focus. Abstrakt:Syftet med föreliggande akademiska studie är att kartlägga vad självskadebeteende innebär, varför det utförs och vilken behandling det finns att få. Resultatet som togs fram genom kvalitativa, semistrukturerade djupintervjuer, både med personer som själva har erfarenhet av självskadebeteende (de primära informanterna) och yrkeskvinnor (de sekundära informanterna) som kommer i kontakt med det. Resultatet går ej att generalisera då antalet informanter inte kan representera hela populationen. Goffman förklarar i boken ?Jaget och maskerna? på ett bra sätt individernas agerande och handlingar i samhället och Mead beskriver med sin teori ?The self? de primära informanternas personlighet.

This thesis highlights starting points underlying the notions of two feminist utopians, Christine de Pizan and Charlotte Perkins Gilman. In approaching their texts, it focuses on the notions central to understand their writings. These would be historical, social, and cultural contexts. Defining concepts as utopian in its varying forms and feminism has been of significance. A feministic approach grounded in Simone de Beauvoirs philosophical phenomenology in the study of feministic utopia's visibility, has contributed to the understanding of the power structures to which women are tethered. In order to understand the way women are presented, it has become obvious that The Book of the City of Ladies and Herland are literary works that are related not only by their authors? background and personality but by the society in which they lived. Through their engagement in the contemporary intellectual debate on all social planes, both authors contributed to shifting the focus of their own contemporary notions of a woman to the notion of a woman equal to men. Woman, in Christine de Pizans utopia, is given specific properties and through themes of issues given meaning. She is not free in the sense that Simone de Beauvoir says.  She has a broader repertoire than was historically assigned, but her freedom is not arbitrary, contingent, and temporary and judged by her actions.

This essay contains a discoursive analysis of fifteen travel reports from five of the largest papers in Sweden. The travel reports contains recaptions from wildlife tourism experiences were the predators are the main target, or at least one of the main targets. Seven of the reports are from Sweden and eight of them from Russia, Rumania, Finland, Turkey and the United States. Predators in this essay aims to those in Sweden called ?the big five?, these are: bears, wolves, lynxes , wolverines and golden eagles.

I dagsläget har alla människor en sorts relation till sin bank. Relationen kan vara alltifrån sparande, lån, aktier och med mera. Produkter och tjänster mellan de olika bankerna har blivit likartade efter avregleringen år 1986. Detta har medfört att det har blivit alltmer viktigare för banker att vara konkurrenskraftiga i sina produkter och tjänster till sina kunder. I detta fall har fler banker investerat mycket på sina resurser för att få lojala kunder.

Det är idag väldigt vanligt att en rekryteringsprocess inkluderar ett personlighetstest som hjälpmedel för att hitta den rätta personen för jobbet. Av denna anledning är det intressant att studera vad för funktion personlighetstester har. Därför har denna studie genomförts i syfte att undersöka vilken betydelse personlighetstester har som verktyg i en rekryteringsprocess, och hur man kan bedöma yrkeskompetensen hos en person med hjälp av ett personlighetstest.För att ta reda på detta har jag använt mig av en kvalitativ metod där sex personer har intervjuats. Samtliga jobbar på samma företag som rekryterare av något slag och använder personlighetstest i deras vardagliga arbete. Resultaten av dessa intervjupersoners utsagor har sedan analyserats utifrån Keens och Ellströms teorier om kompetens.Studiens resultat visar att personlighetstest används olika från rekryterare till rekryterare och att det ibland kan ge väldigt värdefull information om kandidaten som söker jobbet, och ibland kan det även vara helt oanvändbart.

Närstående får ofta en minskad livskvalitet pga. de stora påfrestningar de utsätts för. De behöver stöd från vården för att orka vara delaktiga i den sjukes liv. Syfte: Att beskriva upplevelser av att vara närstående till en person som har schizofreni och på så vis öka sjuksköterskans förståelse för denna individgrupp.

They can develop a close bond towards other dogs, almost like a relationship among siblings, which can be a high valuable resource for good relations and cooperation?s. Dominance in dogs is sometimes used to explain undesired behaviors and explained as a personality trait. Dominance though, is not a trait in a dog or a source for undesired behaviors, but can rather be explained as a relationship between individuals, were one of them receives more submissive signals from the other.
