Cykelparkering i stadsmiljö : en redogörelse för cykelparkeringens komponenter
In recent years many cities have seen an increase in bicycle traffic. This is a development that benefits both the environment and the individual cyclist. When the need for bicycle parking is not met several problems arise such as an increase in bicycle thefts, jammed sidewalks and a decreased interest in using bicycles. My aim with this paper has been to answer the question of how to create parking facilities in an urban environment based on cyclists' needs. Through a literature survey, following the method "Trattmodellen" (the funnel model) the question has been answered and divided under the headings cyclist, bike, bicycle racks, bicycle garage and bicycle operators and hosts.
Logotypiskt : En studie om hur digitaliseringen harförändrat logotypers utseende
In this study we are seeking to discover the norms in the design of logotypes and how they havechanged over time. To achieve this we have chosen to analyze the logotypes of twenty companies withthe largest expenditure on advertising in Sweden. We mapped chosen design attributes within the logoto discover the similarities and then we selected the five oldest brands to analyze how their logos havechanged over time. The design changes in the logotypes over time is can be related to the changingattitudes of the general public and the designers ambitions to draw on convention to create iconic designthat will spark brand-recognition. However many changes can?t be directly explained through changesin convention.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to identify the relationship between color and semiotics and how a person?s opinon, regarding a game character?s different characteristics, can be affected by the use of various colors. Prior to this study people were asked, through an online survey, to write down words that they associated with different colors. The colors were then divided into four different groups depending on whether they had been associated with positive-strong words, positive-weak words, negative-strong words or negative-weak words. In order to further shed light on the effect of colors, the four palettes, consisting of the colors associated with the different words, were then used separately to give color to two characters: a man and a woman.

The purpose of this essay is to analyse and understand how branding can take place in a football organisation. Football clubs have for a long time been seen as non-profit organisations but since money have become a main factor also in football these days the organisations are more or less turning in to commercial businesses. Football organisations have for many years neglected the assets of actively contributing values to their brand. Despite that branding doesn't seem to be seen as important in football organisations as it is for real companies who spend a fortune of money on building strong brands, which makes us curious to find out how this approach can be developed also in football. We are also interested in what the characteristics are and which underlying factors that determines the choice of a football brand.

The media arena is becoming more and more crowded by various brands and different commercial messages. At the same time, consumers learn how to screen marketing communication and their cognitive ad filters enable them to avoid message elaboration. Thus, new thinking and new communication executions are required in order to surprise the consumers and break through the clutter. In the present study, we have investigated how the choice of media affects attention, memory and several communication effects that the ad can generate in the short as well as in the long term. The study is conducted on a well-known brand within a low-involvement product category.
Statarsystemets avskaffande
The purpose of this essay was to investigate the procedure surronding the abolition of the Statarsystem as well as trying to see possible motives for this abolition. In oder to do so different records from Svenska Lantarbetarförbundet and Svenska Arbetsgivarföreningen were examined. It soon became apparent that the procedure itself was not to hard. Both parties wanted the system to stop. In short, Svenska Lantarbetarförbundet´s motives were that statare did not receive a good social status and also that the system smothered statarna.

Uppsatsen grundas i ett personligt och yrkesmässigt intresse av att veta mer om en specifik elevgrupp: unga muslimska kvinnor från en arabisk kulturell kontext. Syftet är att undersöka denna grupps religiositet och deras meningsskapande kring att vara religiösa och kvinnor. Metodologiskt utgår uppsatsen från det konstruktivistiska antagandet att kunskap om verkligheten skapas socialt. Den narrativa metoden sätter kvinnornas berättelser i fokus och jag har studerat narratologiska teman och vändpunkter i berättelserna för att tydliggöra hur mening konstrueras. För att komma åt livsberättelsen har jag utfört intervjuer enskilt och i par samt utfört en observation.

Syftet med arbetet har varit att genom litteraturstudier och samtal med elever och lärare ta reda på vad en bästisdyad är, hur den fungerar och vilken betydelse den har för flickor. Jag har sökt finna svar på ovanstående frågor genom kvalitativa intervjuer som har haft karaktären av samtal. I resultatet redovisas intervjuer med tre bästispar och deras klassföreståndare. Svaren berör tankar omkring beroende, jämlikhet, identitet, status samt strategier för att bevara dyaden intakt.I diskussionen ställs de tre bästisdyaderna i relation till de teorier som redovisats i litterarugenomgången..
Asyl och rätten att definiera sexualitet
The purpose of this paper is to examine the constructions of sexuality, which are produced when judgments concerning asylum are made, based on an asylum seeker?s sexual orientation. The question formulations are the following: Which constructions of sexuality are produced when necessary condition, fear of persecution due to sexual orientation, is applied in judgments regarding refugee status? Furthermore, how constructions of sexuality differ in the judgments where the asylum seeker has been consented and rejected is investigated. The empirical material consists of 13 judgments, which were announced between the years 2009-2013 by the Migration court.

Undersökningens syfte är att med hjälp av intervjuer redovisa sex gymnasielärares uppfattningar om deras yrkesetiska principer. Fokus ligger på principernas syfte, diskursaktualitet och applicerbarhet. Resultatet visar att lärarna ser yrkesetiken som ett förhållningssätt samt en del i status- och professionsfrågan. Diskursaktualiteten uppfattas som frånvarande på den aktuella skolan, men intresse för större aktivitet önskas hos några av dem. Utanförskap i förskolan
Earlier studies shows that democracy within the preschool is an important and on-going work, but could implicate certain consequences. For example that goals regarding democracy and influence in the preschool, rarely is done in practice but instead remains just words on a paper. It could also mean that the pedagogues lack education and knowledge within the area, but also how they react to the influence of children. Preschool is expected to be a place for all children, no matter what luggage the child is carrying. The luggage is filled with the life experience, the personality and in this case the needs that the child has. The needs could be anything from nearness to physical and psychological disorders that requires more pedagogical attention.

The questions asked were designed to help answering thepurpose of the study.Main results: This study shows that in general there is a positive view of Internet datingamong both groups. They appreciate the opportunities it provides, as they get to knowthe other persons personality first. Even so, it should be noted that they still tend to be abit ashamed to talk about Internet dating, and some don?t want to be associated with it.The communication pattern tend to be pretty much the same among both groups.

A popular method in order to gain sales and increase margins is to influence existing customers to buy more with the use of suggestive selling. The purpose of this paper, was to further examine the different effects of suggestive selling with the use of complementary versus non- complementary goods in the form of customer satisfaction, customer view of the service encounter, as well as success in sales. In addition, the influence of the customer's purchase amount on the tendency to buy an extra product in a suggestive selling situation was examined. The study was conducted through the use of a field experiment with the support of surveys in 'The Body Shop'.

Teenagers are the group that spends most money on clothing. When choosing clothes, the so called internal and external signals could affect the perceived quality of the teenagers. The external signals are for example price, brand and place of purchase while the internal signals are the physical composition of the product as for example garment and size. The perceived quality is the attributes that the teenagers perceive that the specific article of clothing has. Today?s marketing, within the fashion line, is mostly to present the design of the product and aim the marketing for curtain segments and to keep a distance to others that are not within the segment group.

For any animator either working in stop-motion or 3D-animation the knowledge of the first animation techniques are most important. For it is based on these principles that animation today can create such vibrant characters. With the extreme development 3D-animation has undergone the last twenty years it is easy to lose track of the old ways. But with this thesis a hope to show that it is these old ways that will take animation to its next stage. My aim with this thesis is to find out if it is possible to identify the characteristic features of stop-motion and apply these onto 3D-animation with purpose to create a more expressive style of animation.
