Hur snabb tillit till ledare skapas i tillfälligt sammansatta grupper
Leaders in modern working life are confronted with frequent use of temporary groups. The purpose of this study was to examine possible reasons for swift trust towards leaders in temporary groups. The target group of the study was school employees. An opinion poll was carried out in the occupational group (n = 35) which made it possible to make statistical comparisons. The result showed that the following aspects were important for the development of swift trust in leaders: personal attributes, image related attributes, competence and experience, leadership and also social competence.
Fast Service in Fast Fashion-En kvantitativ studie av kundrespons till självserviceteknik i fast fashion
The success of self-service technology in retail grocery stores cannot be ignored, and the fact is that every other grocery store in Sweden has implemented the self-scanning or self-checkout systems. The trend is that the technique is spreading into other markets with potential to increase productivity for companies and enhance the service for customers. Fast fashion is one branch that is left untouched by the development in payment processes, and despite the leading companies extensive focus on fast service, the concept of self-service technology has not yet been tested. This paper undertake a quantitative, experimental approach to the issue and examines the effect self-checkout would have on Fast fashion- customers. By presenting a scenario with and without self- checkout and afterwards asked about the respondents experience, we can provide the marketing world with new insights.

The departure point of this thesis is the context of the institution and the processes surrounding the handling of personal archives at the National Library of Sweden. These processes are examined using Actor Network Theory. Around the personal archive a network is constructed and contained by actors ? the archive itself, the librarian, the conservator, the researcher, organizational structures and others. Within this network choices are made of what is significant.
22§ LAS - ett hinder för kommuner att tillvarata personal med kompetens och skicklighet?
Medarbetarnas kompetens och skicklighet är direkt kopplat till en verksamhets lönsamhet och effektivitet. Skånska kommuner står de närmaste åren inför en ekonomisk kris, vilket bland annat troligen kommer att medföra uppsägning av personal. Denna studies syfte är att undersöka om skånska personalchefer, inom kommunal verksamhet, upplever att turordningsreglerna i Lagen (1982:80) om anställningsskydd (LAS) påverkar deras möjlighet att tillvarata personal med kompetens och skicklighet vid uppsägningar och i så fall hur. Vi har intervjuat fem personalchefer (eller motsvarande befattning) i fem olika kommuner om hur deras respektive kommuner arbetar med kompetensförsörjning och hur deras inställning är till 22§ LAS. Resultatet visar att 22§ LAS, till viss del, upplevs begränsa kommunernas möjligheter att tillvarata personal med kompetens och skicklighet vid uppsägningar. Möjligheterna att tillvarata kompetens och skicklighet ansågs begränsas ytterligare av de fackliga organisationernas ovilja till att upprätta avtalsturlistor.
Kön i minoritet : En jämförelse mellan manliga socialsekreterare och kvinnliga poliser.
Traditionally and historically certain jobs have been recognized as male or female professions leading to the assumption that the barrier crossing men and women working in these gender atypical jobs are being less masculine and less feminine. The aim of this study is to examine similarities and differences among male social workers and female police officers in the experience of being a gender minority in their workplace and how it effects the construction of their gender identity. Working with a qualitative approach and using semi-constructed interviews the study was conducted by interviewing a total of five social workers and four female police officers, in six different communities, about their Personal experiences of being a gender minority in a gender atypical job. The result shows both differences and similarities between the genders and their occupation; on a personal level neither of the respondents seemed to have a problem working in a gender atypical job although admitting that working in a ?female? and ?male? profession had effects on their personality but not on how they viewed themselves as men or women.
Sjuksköterskors upplevelser av att vårda patienter med lungtuberkulos : en kvalitativ intervjustudie
Bakgrund: Vård av patienter med smittsam lungtuberkulos har blivit allt vanligare. Ett antal fall där personal smittats har förekommit i landet under de senaste åren. Många av dessa patienter har en annan etnisk bakgrund och talar ett annat språk än personalen. Syfte: Att studera sjuksköterskors upplevelser av att vårda patienter med lungtuberkulos på infektionsklinik. Metod: Semi-strukturerade intervjuer genomfördes med sex sjuksköterskor på en infektionsklinik.
Medmänniska och vän - en guldkant på tillvaron : frivillig besökstjänst i Trollhättan
The essay deals with questions concerning the reasons, difficulties and subjects for rejoicing which various people experience when visiting "voluntarily" old, lonely people in the congregation of Trollhättan. What knowledge is developed and which values are formed? How is aging and solitude experienced? The visits are co-ordinated by two lay workers employed by the Swedish Church. The study is built on oral interviews in April and May 2003 from a questionaire using open questions. The research group consists of six women between 65-80 of age with 1-30 years´ experience.Inner reasons, contact with other people in similar situations, positive responses to visits, and meetings in the visiting service group seem to be the principal driving forces.

A common experience is that leadership could be better handled during reorganizations within the social services. The purpose of this study is to examine how social welfare secretaries experience their managers during reorganizations. How do social welfare secretaries experience the manger?s role and actions? While developing the interview questions it became relevant to illustrate further aspects: To describe how social welfare secretaries experience the reorganizations that they have gone through and their experience of the everyday leadership around the managers?; openness, availability, clarity, trust and skills regarding managing stress among their staff. The study is built on qualitative interviews with six social welfare secretaries within units working with economical social assistance in different districts in the city of Gothenburg.

The authors of this thesis have studied the handling of personal information in various kinds of organizations, because the perception is that the knowledge in this area is weak relative to the weight of the subject.The purpose of this paper has been partly to shed light on how knowledge of this area in the organizations that we have visited during the study but also to answer questions about handling, knowledge and security, and identification of individuals in different systems. What kind of problems the processing of these data creates and why these problems occur.In the beginning of our study we understood the importance of using the correct identifier and therefore chose also to examine what the various identifiers used by the organizations and why they chose these particular identifiers.In the qualitative analysis, Datainspektionen´s general rules and advice has been used as a basis together with the laws applicable to the organizations to get a good picture of how management of personal information is in these organizations.What we have found in this paper is that knowledge about how personal data is handled and what laws and rules are saying is very much dependent on how central the information is to these organization's activities. The police use so many different types of records for their organization to function well and they have very good knowledge of laws and regulations. In contrast, schools that do not handle as much of personal data themselves nor have the same knowledge among staff and do not have enough resources to cope with keeping the same knowledge base as the police. This is something that applies to all types of handling, depending on how important the information is for the organization, the better the security and knowledge in handling the data is..

The aim of this study was to investigate nurse?s experience of working from the philosophy of palliative care in end of life at home. The study had a qualitative design. Semi-structured interviews were performed with nine nurses working in advanced palliative home care. The analysis of the material revealed four categories and two subcategories.
Chefen som normsändare : En kvalitativ studie ur chefs - och personalperspektiv
The aim of our study is to explore which norms that exists in the home care service, who is sending those norms, how are they maintained and how do they affect the interactions between staff and manager? We want to deep en our knowledge about home care service as an organization and increase our understanding for the psychosocial work environment and also the importance of leadership. We mean to read the organizational culture that exists which allows us to deal with the values that influence the behavior in the organization.The study is based on a qualitative method. The data consists of two focus group interviews, one with managers from the home care service - organization and one with staff from the same organization. T he interview with the managers consisted of five participants and the corresponding figure for the second interview with the staff was eight participants.The theoretical viewpoints have been communication - theory, organizational theory and Foucault´s th eory of power.Our result indicate that norms are something that unconsciously controls us and that we have learned that there are consequences when you step out of what is normative for the group.
Kurator på Akuten? : En empirisk intervjustudie om behovet av en kurator på en akutmottagning - Ur ett personal perspektiv
Bakgrund: Dagligen sker akuta besök i hälso- och sjukvården med medicinska, praktiska, sociala och emotionella behov där det medicinska behovet är första prioritet. Personalen möter dagligen situationer som inte bearbetas då det inte finns tid och resurs för detta. Anhöriga kommer ofta i kläm då det kan saknas tid, resurs och kunskap för att möta deras behov. Det kan ge problem och konsekvenser för involverade patienter, anhöriga och vårdpersonal. På vissa akutmottagningar används en kurator som arbetar med patienter, anhöriga och personal ur ett helhetsperspektiv. Syfte: Syftet var att undersöka vårdpersonalens uppfattning av behovet av en kurator på en akutmottagning.
Rocksång - Fem sångpedagogers erfarenheter av den kvinnliga rösten
Rock singing - five vocal teachers´ experience of the female voice.The purpose of this study is to find out what different vocal teachers have to say about rock singing and the female singing voice. The method I have used to gather information is a phenomenographically inspired qualitative interview. The study begins with a few thoughts about my interest in rock singing, followed by a short overview about other research and literature that has been published on the subject. I have interviewed five vocal teachers in this study. All of them with many years experience of singing, both singing themselves and teaching professionally.
Att vara förälder till ett barn med medfött hjärtfel : en litteraturstudie
Introduction : Structural cardiac malformations affects 0.8-1% of children born worldwide, in Sweden 800-1000 children per year. Most children with congenital heart disease and their families will have frequent and lifelong contact with highly specialized care. Awareness of the parents experience is crucial in order to improve the nursing care. These experiences will be illustrated using a theoretical model of family-based nursing. Aim: The aim of this study was to describe experiences of being a parent to a child with a congenital heart disease.

Detta är en kvalitativ studie med hermeneutisk ansats som syftar till att undersöka en grupp förskollärares och en logopeds tankar om flerspråkighet och barn som har flera språk och en språkstörning. I studien ställs frågor om förskollärarnas och logopedens tankar om flerspråkighet och barn som har flera språk och en språkstörning. Vidare undersöks respondenternas syn på modersmålsträning, att arbeta integrerat med flerspråkig personal, samt deras tankar bakom strategierna för deras metodval i arbetet med barn som har flera språk och barn som har flera språk och en språkstörning. Studien grundar sig på intervjuer med sex förskollärare och en intervju med en logoped. Resultatet visar att flerspråkighet ses både som en resurs och som ett hinder av förskollärarna.
