Kompetensförsörjning : Strategier för att hitta, behålla och utveckla personal

This qualitative study aims to examine what career opportunities the Swedish employment service Arbetsförmedlingen can provide, as well as how the employees perceive their career development opportunities. Furthermore, we have touched on what it is that makes employees feel satisfied with their job and workplace, and also stay in the organization. The study was conducted on one of Arbetsförmedlingen?s offices in northern Sweden and the informants consisted of six employment agents, an executive assistant and a head of division. The result of the study has been analyzed using theories within the field of career development.

Syftet med denna studie är att belysa hur upplevelsen gällande dokumentation bland personal inom hemvården ser ut. Detta gjordes genom en kvalitativ studie med sex slumpmässigt utvalda ur personalen på tre arbetsplatser inom en medelstor stad i Sverige. Den huvudsakliga faktorn som formar upplevelsen gällande dokumentationen bland personal tenderer att vara hur arbetstiden är fördelad, då ingen specifik tid till detta finns utsatt i deras schema. Detta verkar vara ett stressmoment bland personalen. Vikten av kunskap, både gällande möjligheten till att använda de redskap som finns tillgängliga inom arbetsplatsen samt tillräckliga språkkunskaper för att ordentligt kunna dokumentera har även nämnts som viktiga faktorer.

Author: Gabriella Agné and Helena LarssonTitle: Disability policy program ? a case study of a municipals implementation of UNs Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.Supervisor: Marianne Westring-NordhAssessor: Ulf DruggeThis study aims to examine how a small municipal in southern Sweden works with the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and examine the assistant officers knowledge about this work and user organizations inclusion and user involvement.The study operates from a qualitative approach based on the results of nine semi-structured interviews with local politicians, assistance officers and representatives from three different user organizations.The results show that the municipal has chosen to work with the implementation of the convention by creating policy programs for their departments through dialogue with user organizations, and by mapping the accessibility to public places. The results also show that the assistant officers have been given no information regarding the convention or the policy programs from their employers and instead operate from national legislations and prepositions. The user organizations feel that they were initially included in the process, but that their impact has later been removed due to structural reorganization..

Personliga assistenters fysiska arbetsmiljö utifrån arbetsledares perspektiv

Abstract:Because personal assistance is relatively new in social care in Sweden we were interested in to get more knowledge in how supervisors for Personal assistants worked. In our study we choosed to look into how the supervisors worked with the physical work environment for the Personal assistants. The questions we wanted to found answers for in this study was, which work directions the supervisors for Personal assistants have around the physical work environment, which legal provisions there were around the physical work environment for the Personal assistants and how the supervisors experienced the work with the physical work environment for the Personal assistants. We did a qualitative interview study with supervisors for Personal assistants. We realised in our study that there were big differences in how the supervisors for Personal assistants worked with the physical work environment for the Personal assistants.

Work and health are strongly connected because people spend the most part of their adult life in a workplace. The work environment influences the fellow co-workers experience of health and learning in different ways. Accordingly the organizations influence has by doing so, created a great significance to fellow co-workers experiences. Organizational changes often create turbulence within an organization and are often experienced negatively by the fellow-co-workers even if it will give positive effects later. The aim of this study was to illuminate nurses- and assistant nurses experiences of health and learning related to organizational changes.

The aim of this study is to examine some teachers and assistants? perception of conditions for students? democratic participation in the compulsory school for learning disabilities specialization training school. In order to deepen and more clearly describe the purpose of the study, three issues have been selected. Firstly, how do teachers and assistants perceive the concept of participation? Secondly, how do teachers and assistants perceive students opportunities for participation in teaching? "En ryggradslös lag" : Om LSS-besvär hos länsrätten rörande personkrets tre

AbstractThe purpose of this study were to examine the appeal that reaches the county administrative court regarding cases within The law of support and service to some disabled (LSS) the third "alternative" with the effort Personal assistant. We have gathered 280 cases from seven different county administrative court and from our selection 19 of the cases remained.These 19 cases became our starting point for our study and they have been interpreted through Foucault´s and Skau´s interpretation frame regarding power and Payne´s social constructivism to try and answer our three questions at issue: How are the cases being handled by the county administrative court? What kind of cases leads to appeal? What similarity and differences are there between the cases? These questions have been answered one by one in a systematical order. Our result shows, among other things, that cases that involve certificates from occupational therapist or physiotherapist are the cases that win against the municipality in the county administrative court. Further we have found a new theme in our study regarding clientification among them who apply for efforts within LSS and "alternative" three.

The aim of the study was to gain a deeper understanding of the expectations that assistant nurses in the elderly care have on unit manager's leadership and the consequences if the expectations are not met. To answer the purpose of this paper a qualitative research was conducted with interviews with six assistant nurses in municipal elderly care. To analyze the empirical material communication were used as a theoretical concept. Communication includes codes, signals and messages to be interpreted by the parties in a conversation and they can be both verbal and nonverbal. This means that communication is complicated and can cause confusion if it is interpreted wrong.

Slutsatsen i vår studie är att syftena för inhyrning av personal är likvärdiga mot tidigare studier som utförts. Vi har i studien klargjort att flexibilitet är fortfarande ett centralt syfte att hyra personal istället för att anställa. This study deals with branding at an individual level and aims to explore what a personal brand means, what benefits that?s obtained by actively working with a personal brand, as well as the strategies and methods used in the development of it. It has also meant a restriction in choice of interviewees made to informants who are familiar with and active in the personal branding process in their daily life. The essay is based on a qualitative research approach; six people working in various occupations were interviewed by a desire to generate information from different perspectives. The purpose of this study is to examine teachers and school-leaders attitude to the school library. Both the cause of and the consequences of these attitudes are examined. In order to fulfil my purpose I have examined this through both literature and empirical studies. I have interviewed the headmaster, the school librarian and two teachers at two comprehensive schools. As theoretical framework I have used David Loertschers taxonomy containing theories about the levels in an ideal school library and Miles model of school development.

The study set out to find how artists organize and use their personal collections from a Personal Information Management (PIM) perspective, and how that use affects their practice and their art production. A secondary object of the study was to articulate the ways that personal collections are utilized as tools by creative users.  The empirical data consisted of five qualitative, semi-structured interviews with Swedish and Norwegian sound artists. The constant comparative method was used for analysis, and Activity Theory was used as a theore- tical framework for the study. The study concluded that artists? personal collections, while diverse in content and structure, serve the same functions as tools in creative processes, and that attention to the uses of personal collections highlight needs that could be better met by integrated PIM-functionality.

The mobile revolution is here to stay, and today most people have (at least) one cell phone at home. Some even a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant)as a complement for the simpler tasks at the office, e.g sending e-mail, word processing, browsing the Internet etc. Many business have also given the employees the opportunity to do some of the business tasks inbetweeen customer visits with the help from a cell phone or PDA.Despite all this, the so called Internet connected mobile revolution is often mentioned as a big failure. Maybe because the people in general tended not to use the new technology as much as the companies predicted. This could be because they still haven't learned how it works, or just don't seem to have the need for services provided.After a couple of failures in the development process, almost every cell phone has support for mobile Internet today.
