The aim of this paper is exploring questions regarding the problem of absenteeism among high-school students in Sweden. Fifteen students attending an urban high-school have been interviewed about their views and experiences of absenteeism. The author analyzes the students? answers by taking into account two different sociological approaches which give two different explanations about the way young people experience and estimate education. The French sociologist Bourdieu theorized that differences in cultural capital influence the permanent internalization of patterns of thought and behavior.

Behovet av att analysera volatilt minne från Macintosh-datorer med OS X har blivit allt mer betydelsefull på grund av att deras datorer blivit allt populärare och att volatil minnesanalysering blivit en allt viktigare del i en IT-forensikers arbete. Anledningen till att volatil minnesanalysering blivit allt viktigare är för att det går att finna viktig information som inte finns lagrad permanent på datorns interna hårddisk. Problemet som låg till grunden för det här examensarbetet var att det uppenbart fanns brist på undersökningsmetoder av det volatila minnet för Mac-datorer med OS X.Syftet med detta arbete var därför att undersöka möjligheten att utvinna information från ett volatilt minne från en Mac-dator med OS X genom att kartlägga och bedöma olika undersökningsmetoder. För att göra denna undersökning har litteraturstudier, informella intervjuer, egna kunskaper och praktiska försök genomförts.Slutsatsen blev att möjligheten att utvinna information från det volatila minnet från en Mac-dator med OS X är relativt begränsad. Det största problemet är själva dumpningen av minnet.

The work related illness has increased and instead of focusing on what?s causing it more and more efforts are put on trying to find the health factors within and outside the work environment. During the past years the term ?long-term health? has arisen; instead of focusing on the number of employees on the sick-list, the focus should be put on the number of employees that has a record of long-term health within an organization, i.e. health-presence.

Metod: Litteraturs?kningen genomf?rdes i databaserna PubMed och Scopus i januari 2023 efter randomiserade kontrollerade studier (RCT). S?kningen utgick fr?n tre block, d?r ett block innefattade depression, det andra blocket innefattade MD och det tredje blocket var RCT. Inkluderad population var vuxna (18?65 ?r gamla) m?n och kvinnor med kliniskt diagnostiserad depression eller sj?lvrapporterad depression de senaste tv? m?naderna eller l?ngre.

ABSTRACTBackground: People with colorectal cancer undergoing rectum amputation get a permanent colostomy, which affects the social life. It may be valuable for health care what these people experience living with colostomy in order to provide the greatest possible support. Objective: The aim of this study is to describe how people who received a colostomy experience their daily lives and the support they have received from the health services.Method: Qualitative interview study with six people, with a descriptive phenomenological approach.Results: The analysis of the interviews about how it's like to live with a colostomy resulted in three themes: 1) Living with a colostomy gives an uncertainty that affect the social life, 2) Physical and psychological impact of getting a colostomy and 3) Support for health care and relatives.Conclusion: Subjects had a positive attitude towards life, which contributed to that they could adjust to living with a colostomy and feel a meaningfulness of life. The study shows that all the interviewed people overall were satisfied with the information provided by the healthcare personnel. It was good with both oral and written information and very appreciated with repeated information. One aspect that could be improved was the information given aboute the closure of anus during surgery and the following complications.

Furthermore, we analyses terminal and applied information technology.

Intangible assets are often a significant part of Swedish companies? assets. Most of these are accounted for as goodwill, arising from acquisitions. After EU:s decision to adopt IFRS as the new accounting standard, intangible assets will to a larger extent be recognized separated from goodwill. This thesis aims to quantify this change and to analyze what specific intangibles are affected most by the transition to IFRS.

Fortum has in a pilot project installed metering equipment with wireless communication in secondary substations in Stockholm. So far, the collected data are used only in specific projects.This master thesis was carried out at Fortum Distribution AB in Stockholm during 2013. The purpose of this study is to simplify and enhance the use of data in for example network planning process, by giving suggestions on how data can be managed and giving examples of analyzes that collected data can be used for.The electricity meter which Fortum has installed is a EDMI-Mk10A which is set to measure max/average/min values with a one hour time resolution of the following parameters: voltage (per phase), current (per phase) andactive power and active and reactive energy.In order to analyze the collected data an analysis tool is required. During this thesis two customized tools in Microsoft Excel have been developed, one for sorting data and one for analyzing.One aim of the thesis is to show examples of what collected measurement data can be used for. This work shows an example of analysis of active power, power factor, voltage, occurrence of interrupts and the relationship between outdoor temperature and power.This master thesis has among others resulted in the following advice: Expand the number of secondary substations with measuring equipment.

In this master thesis outage statistics covering tree years from two distribution grids are analyzed with the purpose to deduce which factors yield outages. The statistics are extensive therefore allowing in-depth analysis of both customer and system related factors. From this starting point and as a model of explanation energy not supplied is studied as the consequence and the measurement of the inconvenience caused by outages. Different methods for calculating energy not supplied are developed and studied and put in comparison to the method used in Network Performance Assessment Model, which is the Swedish frame work for regulating electricity distribution.Analysis of the outage statistics show a relation between the type category of customer and outages that can be deduced to the variance and the density associated with that customer category. Prioritization of different customer categories is elevated also in this aspect.

Fornföreningen Fibula on the Aland Islands contacts the author because its members want to create a museum.The purpose of this two years master?s thesis in Archive, Library and Museum studies is to shed light on what a museum really is. The research question I have answered is ?what is a museum and is this what Fibula really wants in their reconstructed Viking village??. Based on interview material, ethnographic field studies, relevant research in the subject and documents from Fibula, I have answered the research question.

Sjuksköterskeutbildningen har sedan dess start i mitten av 1800-talet utvecklats från att ha varit en rent praktiskt inriktad yrkesutbildning till en mer teoretiskt inriktad högskoleutbildning. Denna utveckling har fortsatt vilket innebär att klyftan mellan teori och praktik har ökat ytterligare.Mot denna bakgrund är syftet med uppsatsen att undersöka vilka krav på lärande den nyutexaminerade sjuksköterskan upplever i den situation hon står inför, när hon med en huvudsaklig teoretisk utbildning möter den kliniska praktiken, samt att analysera hur sjuksköterskorna kan stödjas i att hantera situationen. Utifrån vårt syfte har vi valt att utföra en empirisk undersökning, där vi har intervjuat sju sjuksköterskor från Helsingborgs lasarett. Den kvalitativa ansatsen föll naturligt då vi sökte en djupare förståelse för sjuksköterskorna och deras situation.I vår undersökning kommer vi fram till att det är svårt för nyutexaminerade sjuksköterskor att ta sig an de krav på kompetens som yrket ställer. För att klara av situationen behöver de stöd och handledning både från Helsingborgs lasarett och från arbetskamraterna.

Syftet med examensarbetet har varit att ta fram beräkningsschabloner eller beräkningsprinciper för trafik som alstras av Banverkets fastigheter. Detta har gjorts genom en inventering av över 200 järnvägsförrättningar hos Banverket Väst. Ur detta material har hämtats cirka 100 anläggningsförrättningar där mer än sextio förrättningar innehåller uppgifter om tonnage i enlighet med den vedertagna tonkilometermetoden. Cirka femtio fastigheter innehåller uppgifter om andelstal. Materialet har analyserats statistiskt och en empirisk beräkningsschablon har tagits fram.

Trots att skolan har lärande som sitt gebit vet man inte särskilt mycket om förutsättningarna för dess organisatoriska lärande, vilket anses nödvändigt för en organisations utveckling. Jag har därför valt att undersöka och identifiera de faktorer som är rimliga att anta att man kan applicera på skolans verksamhet - trots att den som organisation skiljer sig från vinstdrivande företag genom exempelvis begränsade ekonomiska resurser och komplexa organisationsstruktur. Den metod jag har valt är en kvalitativ litteraturstudie och i min teorigenomgång beskriver och förklarar jag begreppen organisation, lärande på individ- och gruppnivå samt lärande organisation. Därefter redogör jag, utifrån ett systemteoretiskt perspektiv, hur en lärande organisation kan uppnås. I min analys diskuterar jag sedan hur dessa förutsättningar kan uppnås i skolan utifrån områdena kultur, organisatoriska förutsättningar såsom struktur, gruppsammansättningar och ledarskap, samt kommunikation och reflektion.

The purpose of this thesis is to make a comparative literary study of ten laboratory experiments with different kind of sources for query expansion terms. The experiments are grouped according to categories of term sources, which are: search results, collection dependent knowledge structures, collection independent knowledge structures and one that combines the two last mentioned sources into one. To enable a comparison all other variables were held as constant as possible. There is the improvement measured in mean average precision, which is used to measure the various sources potential. The result from the study shows a strong connection between the kind of source for the expansion term and improvement of the result.
