The aim of this thesis is to improve the control of urea injection at the combined power and heating plant Framtidens Gärstad (FTG). Tekniska Verken i Linköping AB is the owner of the plant.The FTG plant consists of a boiler where garbage combustion is done. From the combustion nitrogen oxides are emitted. These nitrogen oxides are hazardous to the environment. To reduce the nitrogen oxides, injection of urea into the boiler is used.

Denna studie ämnade studera sambandet mellan självinsikt, attributioner och relationskvalité. Tidigare studier har visat att det finns ett tydligt samband mellan attributioner och relationskvalité. Vårt syfte var att expandera och replikera detta fynd och placera in det i ett större sammanhang, kultur-relationskedjan, där även självinsikt och kultur ingår. Femtiosex personer (28 par), majoriteten studenter, deltog i studien som utfördes individuellt i enkätform. Many traffic incidents are due to the driver?s lack of attention, resulting in dangerous lane departures, either sliding off theroad or into the oppose lane. These kinds of incidents often have serious outcomes, which has led to much effort being concentrated on preventing or lessening the damages when the incident is already a fact, for example by installing safety belts and air bags. These measures may be considered to be acts of so-called passive safety. Active safety on the other hand, means that the safety systems intervene before the incidents have occurred.

Simulation of different systems can be done using a graphical model description of the system based on block diagrams. The simulation software Matlab/Simulink offers a lot of possibilities to describe a huge number of systems, which can be linear as well as nonlinear. AbstractIn this text the attitudes towards and using of blogs in teaching Swedish toteenagers will be explored. The results are based on a survey made amongst 17teachers and 58 students from all over Sweden. The end results show that theusage of blog still hasn?t found a permanent way into the classrooms, but has anappeal to and is being used by predominantly younger teachers both, male andfemale, with a positive response from students regardless of gender. I det här projektet analyseras huset Röken, uppe på det Småländska höglandet, en plats med mycket historia. Från 1600-talet då en bräcklig fred gör att huset byggs till då huset moderniseras under mitten av 1900-talet och blir inrett med många möbler från Ab Svenska möbelfabrikerna, som bara låg några kilometer från platsen. Detta leder fram till en undersökning av familjen som äger huset och till Jan Strand, min far, idag den enda permanent boende där. By using steady-state measurements for predicting emissions under a dynamic drive cycle wouldsave a lot of time and money for the exhaust aftertreatment specialists at Volvo cars. The idea forthis thesis has been to investigate if statistical regression models can be used with good accuracy.Questions included are for example if common operating variables such as engine speed, air-fuelratio etc. is sufficient to predict engine-out emissions over the engine operating range with goodaccuracy. Focus was set on the modelling of warm engine, but also the more complex engineheat-up phase was investigated since it is a great contributor to total emissions. While NOxcouldnot be measured because of malfunctioning measurement equipment, only HC, CO andtemperature at inlet of first catalytic converter has been modelled.

Uppsatsen har som utgång att besvara de grundläggande frågor som vi ställer oss; (1) kan det vara så att individer som startar företag uppfattar risk annorlunda än individer som inte väljer att starta företag? (2) Stämmer den spridda uppfattningen om att entreprenörer är mer riskbenägna än andra? (3) Vilka faktorer kan förklara skillnader i riskbenägenhet och riskuppfattning? Utifrån dessa frågor går vi igenom och beskriver forskning inom området och skapar hypoteser som vi sedan empiriskt prövar. Utifrån resultaten som vår undersökning genererat tyder vissa svar på att entreprenörer som grupp påvisar liknande personlighetsdrag, samt att de har en annorlunda riskuppfattning jämfört med icke-entreprenörer, vilket kan ses som skillnader i dessa personers undermedvetna (cognitive bias) som vi antog. Men eftersom vår studie behandlade ett relativt litet urval, rekommenderar vi därför att vidare studier och forskning kring detta ämne bör genomfras för att ge en vidare inblick i detta ämne som kan underlätta för entreprenörer och framtida investerare..

The global Positioning System (GPS) provides location and time information as long as there are unobstructed lines of sight to four or more GPS satellites. However, when this is not the case the signal may be inaccurate or sometimes even completely blocked. In these situations the Inertial Navigation System (INS) is an appropriate choice for positioning.  An INS has already been proposed in a previous thesis by Erik Andersson and the objective of this thesis is to fuse the GPS with the INS in a proper way. A part of this project is to decide the reliability of the GPS.Three methods for GPS reliability detection have been proposed. One method based on the statistical properties of each of the separate systems, and two methods based on the statistical properties of the residuals between the GPS and INS.
