Hydroware Elevation Technology AB är ett företag som utvecklar styrsystem till hydrauliska hissar. Hårdvaran i detta system börjar bli gammal och går troligen ur produktion inom en snar framtid. EU har dessutom upprättat nya säkerhetsföreskrifter för installation av hissar där styrsystemet omnämns. I en grupp av hissar skall hisskorgarna isoleras från eventuella fel i övriga hissar. Med detta i åtanke har man inlett en förstudie där man tittar på ny hårdvara.

Hawk Turbine AB tillverkar mindre jetmotorer som ofta används i små obemannade och radiostyrda flygplan. I flygplansmodellen Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star är motorn monterad inuti planet varför luften måste ledas ut till atmosfären. För bästa möjliga prestanda måste ejektorn och utblåsröret som leder luften dimensioneras efter motor och flyghastighet.En 3-dimensionell CAD modell av flygplanets installation skapades och därefter simulerats i en virtuell vindtunnel med hjälp av datorprogrammet SolidWorks Flow Simulation. Flera olika utblåsrör i varierande storlekar samt olika former har testats för att avgöra om ändringar kan förbättra prestandan ytterligare.Simulationsresultat visar att det går att förbättra nuvarande konfiguration med 5,99 % om diametern på utblåsröret minskas från 75 mm till 70 mm med en bibehållen form på utblåsröret..

This thesis revolves around my work Desirable Objects, an installation in glass and other materials, which deals with objectification based on female and animal trophies. The topics included are those that have been crucial to my working process; craft, post-colonial studies and European hierarchical dualism, where woman and nature are seen as connected, but inferior. My motivation has been to get a better understanding of underlying power structures, and put this knowledge in relation to my own work. This process has led me to make a full body casting of my own body as a method of self-exploitation, in an attempt to expose myself to a similar power perspective. By making the dualistic connection between woman and nature, I am commenting a phenomenon that in my view has resulted in a similar exploitation of both..

In this project the focus has been on the system for recombination at Oskarshamn 2. The recombining systems have on several occasions switched paths due to low pressure before the last ejector that?s feeding the recombiner. Of the mentioned reason, events and several measuring points have been analyzed in this report since the installation of the recombining systems.In order to prove theories and demonstrate what may be the cause of this problem, we used heat balance calculations by the program Probera. Using the program, we can demonstrate that the catalytic process does not reach the desired temperature with the amount of combustible substance.

SharePoint is a web based platform designed to provide internal communications and file sharing for businesses and organizations.In this project, we created a system consisting of multiple applications to be used together with SharePoint. These applications are meant to simplify the workflow for internal orders of products. The system is targeted towards companies that do not have a flexible approach to digital orders or companies that want to integrate this functionality into their SharePoint platform. The project includes, in addition to the creation of the system, installation of the software and the servers needed to run a SharePoint environment and their configurations.The system consists of four applications where one of these, the store application, is required for the system to be used at all. The other applications are an order management application, a purchase application and an incoming delivery application. Of these four, we have implemented the store application and the order management application. Our hope is that users will find the system easy to use and graphically appealing..

This thesis aims to identify the building integrated photovoltaic solutions available in the market with respect to general pros and cons of different systems and a technical description of there attachment system. Investigate and provide examples of various building integrated photovoltaic solutions in Sweden and describe the experiences and results of these projects.The methods used to obtain relevant information are interviews with individuals involved in significant projects and a thorough search of different solutions from solar suppliers.The conclusion is that solar energy is needed for a sustainable society. There are endless opportunities regarding BIPV, with many companies with different products and individual solutions. But so far it?s not so customary in Sweden.

The report is a master thesis about energy efficient measures for an underground facility Hemsö fortress.Several proposals are evaluated economically.Statistics of the electricity used and measurements of several heat pumps are analyzed to find energysavings potentials.The results indicate that several units of a dehumidification system are responsible for over 70 % of theyearly electricity cost. The air that is being dehumidified by these units can otherwise cause damage ofculturally important interior designs.The proposal with highest profit suggests an alternative method for dehumidification. The cooler in theair handling units in Hemsö fortress have capacity to dehumidify the air. However complementary fansneed to be installed to circulate humid air towards the air handling units. The solution can be implementedin three different locations within the facility.

Städer är i ständig förändring och övergången från industrisamhälle till kunskapssamhälle medför en omstrukturering av stadens ytor. Postindustriella landskap uppstår centralt i städerna och med den urbanisering som sker idag tas de ofta i anspråk med syftet att skapa nya attraktiva stadsdelar. En lyckad stadsutveckling handlar dock om mer än bara fysiska förändringar. Även om alla fysiska förutsättningar är på plats måste det finnas liv i området för att göra det attraktivt. I detta examensarbete studeras begreppet tillfällig landskapsarkitektur och dess betydelse inom stadsplanering. Syftet är att undersöka om tillfällig landskapsarkitektur kan vara ett sätt att uppmärksamma ett utvecklingsområde och göra det attraktivt innan byggprocessen dragit igång. Arbetet är indelat i två delar.

This thesis is comprised of an annotated translation of an English IT-text into Swedish. The source text is the installation manual for the software SDL Trados Studio 2014 and the thesis also contains a text analysis of the source text. The goal of the translation has been to use norms in the target culture and thus move the translation toward acceptability. The thesis therefore discusses norms based on Toury's (1995) framework.The thesis also contains an empirical study of the translation of three different IT-texts. The study shows that, when it comes to the specific norms investigated in the study, Swedish translations of IT-texts are guided by norms in both the source culture and the target culture..

Vår ambition med uppsatsen var att se om det finns ett orsakssamband mellan projekt InPUTs verksamhet och flyktingars förändrade levnadsvillkor efter ett permanent uppehållstillstånd (PUT). Uppsatsen är en kvalitativ studie kombinerad med kvantitativ statistik, under arbetet har vi triangulerat metoderna för att underlätta analysen. Vi har använt en frågeguide med några teman, och samlat in vårt material i en halvstrukturerad intervjuform. Vi har förutom nio flyktingar intervjuat fyra personal från projekt InPUT samt en personal från Rosengrenska Stiftelsen. Uppsatsens ska belysa vilka faktorer som på individ-, grupp-, och samhällsnivå påverkar flyktingars liv samt söka härleda om projekt InPUT är en av framgångsfaktorerna. I uppsatsen ämnar vi även undersöka vad mer som samverkar för att flyktingar skall få en bra tillvaro med goda levnadsvillkor i Sverige. För att kunna göra kopplingar till våra begrepp förändringsprocesser och levnadsvillkor har vi använt oss av teorier från socialt arbete med inriktning mot systemteori.

AbstractIn this text the attitudes towards and using of blogs in teaching Swedish toteenagers will be explored. The results are based on a survey made amongst 17teachers and 58 students from all over Sweden. The end results show that theusage of blog still hasn?t found a permanent way into the classrooms, but has anappeal to and is being used by predominantly younger teachers both, male andfemale, with a positive response from students regardless of gender. I detta examensarbete tas ett konstruktionsförslag fram på en bilbarnstol vars syfte är att minska ergonomiska problem i samband med installation och användning. Det övergripande målet är säkrare barntransporter. Inledningsvis studeras bilbarnstolar utifrån ett brett perspektiv. En sammanställning av problemen bildar basen för det fortsatta konstruktionsarbetet. En marknadsundersökning genomförs för att kontrollera utbudet av bilbarnstolar i Sverige, vartefter koncept tas fram.
