Our education at Halmstad University was completed with a degree project. Our task was to improve an already existing pneumatic damper to Nederman in Helsingborg. Overall we have made necessary calculations to make the design of the existing damper smaller. When these calculations were done, we moved on with an analysis of the existing damper in order to figure out what improvements could be made on each part of the damper. The result of this project is a smaller and a more supple design of a pneumatic damper. To this we have also created complete drawings, calculated material expenses; we have also created an assembly of a pneumatic damper in Catia v5..

The purpose of this paper is to examine how seams in an interactive system should be managed. Seamsin this study refer to the boundaries that arise when users move between for example differentsoftware, products or positioning systems. These seams are a cornerstone of the relatively unexploredarea called seamful design, which is based on that users can avail highlighted seams through activeparticipation in the use of a system. To analyze this area, seamful design is applied to the developmentof an interface of a smoothie vending machine. This smoothie machine thus provides the analyzedinteractive system, which the research questions are applied to as well as answered by.

This report documents the development of a software system for automaticscheduling called Hazel. This system is comprised of a server where an automaticscheduler has been implemented, as well as a web and mobile applicationthat allows users to interact with the system. The scheduler hasbeen developed with the functional programming language Haskell and usesa SAT-solver.Manual scheduling has long been the bane of managers everywhere, asmatching the needs of the employer with those of the employee is often adifficult and time-consuming task. There already exists several automaticschedulers that attempt to solve this problem. The issue with said schedulersis that thay tend to be expensive, or developed to only fulfill the needsof a particular organisation.

This qualitative study examines how users of boardgamegeek.com chooses which analogue game to buy. The purpose of the study is to find out which factors constitutes the choice of games and how the information of these factors reach the consumer. The results show that many of the respondents research the games they are interrested in beforehand and based on this information make their choice. The task of this project was to build an computer processing system for pressureregulation, in which the pressure loss over the open hydrolicvalve should be kept as low as possible. By using an cross connected proportional directional valve the valve problem could be solved. The control- and regulationproblem for the pressureregulation system was solved by using the DAQ- card NI6035E from National Instruments and the computerprogram Automatic Pressure Control 1.0 which has been software developed and written in Visual Basic. It examines how the public library makes activities based on independent creativity visible, and what activities of this sort imply to the public library. The aim of this study was to compare the effect between the drugs rituximab and infliximab in rheumatoid arthritis (RA). RA is an autoimmune disease that affects the peripheral joints and is associated with exacerbations. Various immune reactions in the body cause inflammation of the joints which further results in cartilage and bone damage. The diagnosis is made by the classification system "The 2010 American College of Rheumatology (ACR) / European league against rheumatism (EULAR) classification criteria for rheumatoid arthritis", which is an update of the older system called "The 1987 American College of Rheumatology classification criteria for RA". This project have been made whit Krima Rostfritt AB. They manufacture a number if different add on products for trucks and now wants to develop there locket were the hatch opens upwards after requests from customers. The costumers have requested a pneumatic opening to make the opening procedure easier.Krima has there biggest markets in Sweden and Norway, because of that the locket has to meet whit the regulations of these countries. The locket also has to meet the demands that Krima has determined from experience to maintain there high standard.The project has resulted in a solution where the locket and cylinder are linked whit a strut. Med dagens växande besättningar är det svårare att upptäcka brunst hos mjölkkor genom visuell observation. Detta leder till ekonomiska förluster, minskat genetiskt framsteg, högre inkalvningsålder och längre kalvningsintervall. För att underlätta brunstregistrering i besättningarna finns olika automatiska registreringar som kan upptäcka fysiologiska eller beteendemässiga förändringar som framträder hos kon vid brunst. Denna litteraturstudie sammanställer tre olika principer för brunstdetektering; visuell brunstdetektering, stegräknare och bestigningsdetektor, som kan vara antingen elektronisk eller manuell. Resultatet visar att stegräknare är den metod som upptäcker flest brunstperioder medan visuell observation ger minst felaktigt detekterade brunstperioder.
