The project explores the possibilities of using additive manufacturing (3d-printing) to build architecture. Through a combination of theoretical research and practical experiments a building system has been developed which has the capabilities to create houses with great geometric flexibilities to a affordable price today. The construction system Perimeter is demonstrated in a pavilion situated at Norra Djurgården in Stockholm. .

Ask any constructional worker and there is a high probability that this person knows a colleague with pain or other disorders caused by working with power tools.According to the Swedish Work Environment Authority 71 percent of the Swedish constructional workers is exposed to vibrations at least 25 percent of the working hours. Despite this, the number of reported occupational sicknesses caused by vibrations is as low as 1, 4 percent.JM Ltd. is one of the largest constructional companies in Sweden. Their main business is new housing and development of residential areas. God quality and low impact on the environment is a part of great importance in the company?s long-term goals.

One of the purposes of this work was to find out what it means to have a conceptual understanding of geometry. It describes how the geometry evolved from history and the geometry that is taught in grade one to nine and collage. The area examined was based on fundamental geometric objects for example two- and three- dimensional objects and its characteristics and especially focusing on the areas of Perimeter, area and volume. The literature- review showed that the conceptual understanding was primary to developing a good knowledge of geometry. The second purpose of his study examined whether pupils achieved the goals in geometry by working with a Mathematics Book.

Syftet med denna studie är att studera elevers svårigheter i hanterandet av matematikuppgifter gällande omkrets och area samt att undersöka hur elevers kunskaper motsvarar kursplanens uppnående- och strävansmål. Kvalitativt inriktade intervjuer har använts som undersökningsmetod, då studiens huvudsakliga syfte har varit att på djupet undersöka och ge exempel på elevers förståelse. Elevsvaren har analyserats utifrån hur representationsformer, begreppsuttryck och innehåll används gällande omkrets, area och kursplanens mål. Eleverna visar svårigheter gällande omkrets- och areamätning och areakonservering, vilket utgör uppnåendemål inom målet att kunna undersöka matematiska problem och uttrycka sig muntligt med hjälp av grundläggande matematiska begrepp. Elevernas förståelse ökar när de får visa och förklara sin förståelse muntligt och med hjälp av bilder..

The municipal housing company, Gavlega?rdarna, renovates and improves the energy efficiency at some of it?s apartment buildings in the district Sa?tra, Ga?vle.

Detta projekt bygger på ett samarbete med Group Perimeter protection AB som är en del av Gunnebos koncern. GPP levererar områdesskydd och bland dessa grindar och staket till förskolan. Samarbetet har resulterat i utvecklingen av en säker och brukarvänlig grind till förskolans utomhusmiljö. Projekt syftar till att utveckla en nytänkande användarvänlig utomhusgrind till förskolan. I dag är förskolans säkerhet ett omdiskuterat ämne i media och inom förskolan, vilket resulterat i att regeringen har tillsatt en utredning för att komma till rätta med vart det brister? Innan den utredningen gett några svar, utgår vi ifrån observationer i vardagen.
