The aim of this study is to investigate oral peer review on argumentative speech and to study the attitudes towards this peer review. The investigation was performed in an up-per secondary school class, and it focused on the different types of oral responses students give each other. In addition, the study investigated in what way the students experience this type of peer review. The results show that students reflect on form and performance as well as content, but they place more emphasis on form and performance than content. Students are positive about peer review and its importance for their progress.

Ericsson har utvecklat ett ramverk för multimediakommunikation som heter Mario. Mario kan anvÀndas för att sÀtta upp video- och ljud-samtal över IP och finns fungerande pÄ Android och iOS. Mario Àr en del av web browsern Bowser som finns att hÀmta pÄ Google Play eller App Store. Bowser möjliggör att köra WebRTC applikationer skrivna i HTML5 och JavaScript pÄ Android och iOS.Nu nÀr Microsoft slÀpper sina nya plattformar, Windows RT, Windows 8 och Windows Phone 8 sÄ finns ett intresse att försöka flytta detta ramverk till dessa plattformar. Vi kommer göra ett försök att porta Mario till Windows RT.

Microproduction, also called distributed generation, is something that has become more and more popular in the electric grid. Microproduction can however lead to unacceptable performance if several units are installed in the same low voltage network. It is therefore good to know a limit where the performance of the low voltage network becomes unacceptable based on given parameters. This limit is usually called hosting capacity.In this report the hosting capacity with respect to voltage and current have been studied in three low voltage networks which are located in Falu ElnÀts concession area. This has been done by simulations in a GIS-program where critical times of the grid have been simulated.

As a result of globalization, multinational teams are being more frequently used in todayÂŽs businesses. This specific type of team can be described as heterogeneous when it comes to nationality and linguistics. The aim of this study was to explore the concept of multinational teams. This was made using culture as a main concept, and nationality, linguistics, and organizational culture in order to describe it. We intended to say something about how this type of teamÂŽs efficiency; when it comes to satisfaction and performance; was affected by national and linguistic heterogeneity within the team.

The borehole heat exchangers of today suffer from poor thermal and hydrodynamic performance. The purpose of this thesis is to improve the performance of ground source heat pump systems and thermal energy storages by increasing the energy efficiency of the borehole heat exchangers. For this reason, the annular coaxial borehole heat exchanger (CBHE) has been analyzed. This type of heat exchanger is interesting in terms of both thermal and hydrodynamic performance. A model has been set up in the program Comsol Multiphysics in order to investigate the heat transfer characteristics along the borehole.

Kunskapen om TV- och datorspelmissbruk bland ungdomar Àr idag vÀldigt begrÀnsad. Stillasittande/fysisk inaktivitet, som TV- och datorspel ofta innebÀr och som kan innebÀra negativa konsekvenser, blir allt vanligare. En semistrukturerad intervjustudie har genomförts pÄ sju mÀn i Äldersgruppen 17-29 Är i syfte att undersöka drivkrafterna bakom mÀns spelbeteende i tonÄren. Dessutom har information om spelmissbruk bland ungdomar inhÀmtats av fyra yrkesverksamma inom spelomrÄdet. Detta samt kopplingar mellan TV- och datorspel och spel om pengar har gjorts p g a bristen pÄ forskning om TV- och datorspel.

The aim of this paper is to study the long-term effects of stuttering treatment according to the Lidcombe Program in Sweden and to answer questions whether underlying factors may have affected the treatment results. Participants were seven children, one girl and six boys aged 7:10-14:2, who all completed Stage 1 of the program approximately 2-7 years ago.The children were video recorded during a conversation with one of the authors and while reading aloud. Before the recording, their parents estimated the level of stuttering according to a Severity Range (SR) Scale. The evaluations were used as reference for determining whether the recordings were representative for the childrenÂŽs current speech fluency. Proportions of stuttered syllables (%SS) were calculated from the video recorded material and compared with the proportions of stuttered syllables (%SS) at the time when the first stage of the program was initiated.The results showed that the Lidcombe Program had a significant (z=-2.37, p=0.02) long term effect on stuttering treatment for the participants in this study.

It's not a secret that most companies strive to get such a high economic return as possible. To successfully engage in a profitable enterprise, there are many elements that come into play. An important element is the motivation of the employees and their work performance. Work motivation is a key factor for the employees to improve their performance and therefore determinant for the successes of the company.This work is a case study in the production at Fresenius Kabi, Uppsala. The work is based on an employee survey that they fill out once a year and the aim is to develop a deeper understanding for these questions and how the employees see on leadership, communication and goal-setting as motivators and how these factors works in the company today.To get this deeper understanding I have used a qualitative approach.

AbstractPurposeThe purpose of this thesis is to examine the Swedish students? habits regarding videos on Youtube and create an understanding towards what makes them viral. The purpose is also to state how companies should make use of visble and hidden viral marketing to get their message out to the customers.MethodThe thesis uses both a qualitative and a quantitative method. At first there was a qualitative focus group with 6 Swedish students. The focus group generated valuable information which later was used to create surveys.

In this thesis, input data for energy performance calculations on commercialpremises have been studied. In energy performance calculations, where internal heat gain parameters are unknown, template values that, in a reasonable way represent the activity in the room, are necessary. These values can be used as input data for whole-year calculations, or for calculations on shorter periods of time.The purpose of the Sveby project is to create standardized work practice in energy issues for the construction industry. The work in this thesis is conducted to correlate with the purpose of the Sveby project, with aims of contributing with information and guidelines for the continuing work with commercial premises.In this report, suggestions for template values for internal gains parameters, based on research and calculations in the field are presented. Suggestions on how these can be implemented in a user-friendly way for two energy performance calculation software are also given, VIP Energy and IDA ICE.

It is not uncommon for math difficulties and reading difficulties to occur simultaneously. Despite this, math and reading difficulties are thought to have different cognitive profiles where math difficulties are linked to number sense; an innate ability to understand, approximate and manipulate both quantities and numerical information, whereas reading difficulties are linked to phonological ability; an innate ability to understand, create representations of and manipulate phonological information. A possible link between the difficulties is that phonological abilities also could affect mathematical ability. Support for this comes from studies where comorbid math and reading difficulties are associated with more severe difficulties in arithmetic ability compared to those with isolated math difficulties. The purpose of this study is to examine whether isolated math difficulties, isolated reading difficulties and comorbid math and reading difficulties can be linked to deficits in number sense, phonological ability or both of these, and whether comorbid math and reading difficulties differ in performance in mathematical tasks compared to isolated math difficulties for children in second grade.
