This study aims to investigate whether or how the tour operator Fritidsresors customers gets affected by their sustainable environmental work and what kinds of effects the work has generated. A secondary data analysis of Fritidsresors website has been made, and an in-depth interview with Fritidsresors sustainability manager. Also a quantitative survey was conducted by fifty respondents, all customers of Fritidsresor. The answers have since been interpreted and processed in accordance with a comparative and phenomenological approach and with an exploratory purpose. Scientific articles have been studied and analyzed in order to generate an explanation for the phenomenon as a research field, and how previous research has looked.

Bakgrund: Parenteral nutrition kan ges vid i stort sett alla tillstånd när magtarmkanalen ej fungerar eller kan utnyttjas tillfredställande. Benigna tarmsjukdomar, t ex Morbus Crohn eller short bowel syndrome av annan anledning är den vanligaste orsaken till HPN (home parenteral nutrition). En europeisk studie från 1997 visar att incidensen för HPN i Danmark är 2,8 patienter/miljoner invånare/år. Vanligen är patienten uppkopplad till HPN-utrustningen 12-14 timmar/dygn. WHO (World Health Organisation) har utarbetat en definition av livskvalitet; ?Quality of life is defined as individuals? Perceptions of their position in life in the context of the culture and value systems in which they live and in relation to their goals, expectations, standards and concerns.? Syfte: Syftet med denna litteraturstudie är att undersöka och beskriva hur patienter med parenteral nutrition i hemmet upplever sin livssituation och behandlingens inverkan på livskvaliteten.

The process is controlled by the acquisition policy which makes it clear that e-books should be purchased if possible.

The survey is a qualitative study that aims to investigate the ethnic housing segregation in the residential area around Malmvägen that is located in Sollentuna. Malmvägen is a millionprogramarea that?s made up of unattractive tall buildings with grey facades. The majority of the residents have foreign backgrounds and the unemployment rate is high among the youths in the area. The apartment rents on Malmvägen are low and many of the residents belong to the subclass of society.

Background: Depression is a very common disease and is caused both by the biological, physical, and psychosocial factors. At least 25 percent of women and 15 percent of all men are affected at some point in their lives. As a nurse, it is important to be aware of women's experience of depression to meet their needs for care.Aim: To illuminate women's experience of depression in order to better understand their needs for care.Method: Literature review in which ten scientific studies were analyzed and thematised. Eight qualitative studies and two studies of qualitative and quantitative method was retrieved from the database CINAHL Complete and PsycINFO. Keywords depression, women?s experience, experience of depression, female, nursing, major depression, women och social interaction were used.

Until recently the Danish government was hesitant about whether investments in climate and energy policies were the right strategy for Denmark. Today the Danish government argues that during the forthcoming climate conference in Copenhagen in 2009 (COP15), the world's countries must agree upon ambitious climate objectives. Denmark is together with EU-27 aiming at an ambitious climate agreement. This thesis intends to contribute with an understanding of why Denmark, both politically and economically, invests profound resources into committing the world's countries to a climate agreement. The study uses both a neoliberal institutionalism and a constructivist theory in analyzing the Danish engagement.

Despite the fact that society is investing substantial resources in individuals not to relapse into crime, then relapse is still a large percentage of new crimes. Crime is something that all societies are dealing with and at all social levels. By punishing individuals they are excluded from the society. This serves as a form of social control. It has been shown that there is no solution to the problem.

The aim of the study was to understand professionals? Perceptions and experiences of adolescent stress. In the study I interested myself further if you can identify gender-specific patterns in the professional stories about young people's stress and stress related illness. Five interviews were conducted with professionals in psychiatry and social work. The thesis took its incipience in social constructionism.

Bakgrund:Fysisk inaktivitet orsakar ohälsa och sjukdom i dagens samhälle. I Sverige introducerades, år 2001, fysisk aktivitet på recept (FaR) som en metod för att öka den fysiska aktiviteten bland befolkningen. Att undersöka hur distriktssköterskan uppfattar FaR är värdefullt eftersom det är en metod som distriktssköterskan kan använda i det hälsofrämjande arbetet. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att beskriva distriktssköterskors uppfattningar om fysisk aktivitet på recept (FaR). Metod: Semistrukturerade intervjuer med 18 distriktssköterskor genomfördes.

Purpose/Aim: This study is an analysis of the view on masculinity, male sexuality and creation of identity with the television series Queer as folk as a base. The analysis is partly based on a semiotic analysis of the representation of masculinity and male sexuality from an episode of the chosen television series Queer as folk, and partly based on a thematic analysis of focus group discussions with young men with different sexualities.Material/Method: This study is based on focus group interviews and a semiotic and thematic analysis. The focus groups consisted of three men in three different groups and were chosen on the criteria of gender and sexuality. All groups were presented with an episode of the television series Queer as folk to see how they perceived masculinity and male sexuality. Their discussions were analyzed with a thematic analysis and the television series Queer as folk with a semiotic analysis.Main results: The three analyzed characters in Queer as folk showed different representations of masculinity and male sexuality.

Gistrand, C. has studied ?Explore young people's problematic backgrounds and their views on the opportunities and obstacles in order to improve their health?, University of Gävle in the course theory and method of application and thesis work.The object of the study was to give young people space to make their voices heard. Further on to make unemployed youths Perceptions of perceived opportunities and obstacles in their way to get a job, internship or study, visible. The object of the study was also to show youths? views of health and what they thought about the contributions to society.The method was qualitative, with three semi-structured interviews with men between 20-24 years old (and problematic childhoods, for instance alcohol and drug use) was conducted..The result shows that unemployment increases the risk of illness and unhealthy habits.

Sömnproblem hos barn är relativt och svårt att definiera, då det utgår från föräldrarnas subjektiva erfarenheter av vad som är ett problem. I den forskning som finns om barns sömnproblem har det visat sig att föräldrar inte alltid är nöjda med stödet inom BVC-verksamheten. Det innebär att det behövs mer kunskap om hur BVC-sköterskan skall bemöta föräldrar som upplever att deras barn har sömnproblem. Studiens syfte utformades utifrån denna bakgrund för att undersöka föräldrars erfarenheter av bemötande från BVC-sköterskan. Sju intervjuer genomfördes med föräldrar där en kvalitativ innehållsanalys utfördes på de transkriberade intervjuerna.

The purpose of this study is to determine which approach preschool teachers from a Reggio Emilia inspired preschool and a traditional preschool have on children, knowledge, learning and their own role in children?s learning. The two pedagogical approaches have different basic visions; Reggio Emilia follows the thoughts of Lori Malaguzzi and the traditional preschool follows the Swedish curriculum Lpfö 98. The main research questions asked were:What view on children, learning and knowledge does the preschool teacher from a Reggio Emilia inspired preschool have in comparison with a traditional preschool?Which role does the teacher believe that they should take regarding children?s learning?What differences and similarities can be identified in the teachers' Perceptions?To carry out this study, I used a qualitative research method.

Background: Rheumatoid arthritis is a common disease worldwide. The disease is described as a chronic inflammation that afflicts mainly the joints, the tendrons and the synovial joint. The inflammation breaks down cartilage, ligaments and bone. When the patient gets the diagnosis he/she frequently reacts with chock, denial or/and dissociation. Active support from the nurse can have an important impact on the patient in accepting and processing that he/she suffers from disease.
