Det uppskattas att ca 2 barn av 1000 har autism (AST) i Sverige idag, vilket innebärgenomgripande störningar i utvecklingen. Barn som drabbas av denna störning har ofta ettstort hjälpbehov från sin omgivning och att som förälder få ett barn med denna diagnosinnebär stora förändringar i det dagliga livet. Syftet med denna studie var att beskrivaföräldrars erfarenheter och upplevelser av att leva med barn med autismspektrumtillstånd.För att besvara studiens syfte har en litteraturöversikt genomförts, där sammanlagt 9artiklar har analyserats. Vid analysen framkom 5 olika områden: outtaladansvarsfördelning, att känna sig isolerad, oro, stress och depression, strategier för att kunnahantera situationen och vikten av socialt och professionellt stöd. Det framkom av resultatetatt de föräldrar som lever med ett barn med AST upplever att de bär en tung börda som ärrelaterad till barnets problem och svårighetsgrad.

Since storytelling is a growing form of teaching we wanted to interview teachers to see what their experiences and opinions were on the subject. Therefore the purpose of this study is to use interviews to examine teacher perceptions and experiences about storytelling and its effect on language development. I will investigate both the use when the teacher is telling a story but also when students are telling stories. With help from my supervisor I was able to come up with interview questions that would help me answer my research question. After the interviews I reviewed the answers and analyzed them.

The purpose of this essay has been to explore Alexander the Great from two different perspectives in Greece. The village Proti Serron represents the local area and the national area named Macedonia represents the second perspective. Oral history has been used as a method in addition to literature and trips to museums and archaeological places.As a guideline for the essay and its contents a stereotyped schedule has been created. This schedule is presented below, and it is also possible to read it backwards.The villagers who identify themselves with Alexander the Great from their local area Proti Serron which is a part of the national area named Macedonia.This study proves that the villagers who has been interviewed, identify themselves with the place they live in as well as its history and that they feel that it is their duty to pass this knowledge forward. Alexander the Great is described as intelligent, humble, a man of strength and courage as well as a strategist and sovereign.

The essay deals with questions concerning the reasons, difficulties and subjects for rejoicing which various people experience when visiting "voluntarily" old, lonely people in the congregation of Trollhättan. What knowledge is developed and which values are formed? How is aging and solitude experienced? The visits are co-ordinated by two lay workers employed by the Swedish Church. The study is built on oral interviews in April and May 2003 from a questionaire using open questions. The research group consists of six women between 65-80 of age with 1-30 years´ experience.Inner reasons, contact with other people in similar situations, positive responses to visits, and meetings in the visiting service group seem to be the principal driving forces.

The purpose of this thesis is to increase the knowledge about the comprehensibility of the easy-to-read civic information. In the study I present my analysis of the content of four easy-to-read texts from four government authorities. The analysis constitutes the starting point for interviews with the target group ? people with a minor mental retardation ?, but it also reveals some possible difficulties for the intended readers. In the empirical study ten persons from the target group were asked to read a text and the comprehension was tested by oral questions about facts in the text.

Non-attendance and cancellations within dental care is a problem resulting in both financial and time consuming losses. The purpose of this questionnaire was to investigate different factors influencing non-attendance and cancellations. Six public and private dental clinics located in Skåne participated. Information about the clinics and patient-related factors were collected. Result: Totally 182 patients cancelling or not attending their appointment were registered.

The purpose of this study was to survey the occurrence of and obstacles to team training inneonatal life support in Swedish hospitals and, accordingly, to compare university hospitalswith other hospitals. The study included all the managers in 37 pediatric wards whoparticipated in telephone interviews with the aid of a questionnaire. The results showed that81 % of the Swedish hospitals that have a paediatric ward train the staff in neonatal lifesupport. All of the university hospitals and 74 % of the other hospitals are running training insome form. The methods of training varied and so did the occurrence of training.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka tandstatus fem år efter genomförd radioterapi mot huvud- och halscancer och jämföra med status omedelbart före radioterapistart. Ytterligare ett syfte var att undersöka hur patienterna upplever sin munhälsa. En kvantitativ deskriptiv tvärsnittsstudie har utförts på 21 patienter som har behandlats med radioterapi involverande hela eller delar av munhålan som stod på tur att kallas för en femårskontroll. Patienterna kallades från ett patientregister tillhörande sjukhustandvården på Käkkirurgiska kliniken i Lund. Studien delades in i tre delar: journal- och röntgengranskning, klinisk undersökning samt att patienterna fick besvara ett antal frågor rörande deras munhälsa.

1995 startade medlemmar ur Swedish Oral Medicine Society tillsammans med Institutionen förData och Informationsteknik på Chalmers tekniska högskola projektet MedView. Projektets syfte äratt utveckla modeller, metoder och datorbaserade verktyg för att stödja kliniker i deras dagligaarbete och forskning. 2005 lanserades webbcommunityn SOMWeb och projektet gick in i sin andrafas med fokus på nätbaserad kunskapshantering. Den virtuella mötesplatsen togs emot väl och detbeslutades att satsa vidare på ökad funktionalitet via Internet.Denna rapport beskriver utvecklingen av en webbapplikation som möjliggör åtkomst av denmedicinska bilddatabas som byggts upp under MedView-projektet. Som utgångspunkt förapplikationens funktionalitet och innehåll står skrivbordsapplikationen MedImager.

This report is on concrete work during the winter and is implemented on Peab?s behalf. The assignment was to describe the differences between a summer- and a winter casting. While it shows the complications that exists, it also show what aids are available, both electronic via computer and physical aids.The information that I have developed is originally from theory in books, information on the internet as well as practical experience from knowledgeable people that works in construction output. Other theories are those I have learned throughout the education to become a construction engineer, including all oral sources over the years.The results I have come up with, I hope will be able to help future construction projects in the planning phase of a winter casting.

Background: For an individual a surgery may involve strains and risks. Many patients experience a loss of its own identity and often an inability to control the situation while going through a surgical operation. Fear of pain or to not wake up from the anesthetic or that the surgery will fail are worrying factors that some people experiences. Purpose: The purpose was to describe patients? perceptions of preoperative information in connection to elective surgeries.

Preventive measurements as well as clinical caries diagnostics are vital to retain a good dental health in the population. In order for optimal caries diagnostics radiographs are used. There is a great intra- and intervariation regarding cariesprogression. A large number of tools for cariesprevention at home or in the clinic are today used. The aim of this journal study was to compare the progression of carieslesions in the approximal area, diagnosed on radiographs, and preventive measures used to reduce cariesprogression between two examine dates on two dental clinics.

The purpose of this study is to investigate librarian?s opinions concerning literature with state supported distribution and how to mediate and market these in the library. The types of mediation and marketing that have been studied are positioning, labeling and oral mediation.The study is qualitative with interviews at seven main public libraries in central Sweden. The respondents of the study were responsible for the literature with state supported distribution within the library.The study is based on a theoretical frame of reference containing theories from Jofrid Karner Smidt, regarding librarian?s mediation in libraries, and François Colbert?s theory on marketing planning for arts and culture.The results of our study showed that librarians have both positive and negative opinions when it comes to the literature with state supported distribution.

Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att ta reda på hur kalvningsförlamning (Paresis puerperalis) påverkar mjölkproduktionen samt hur den kan förebyggas och behandlas. Kalvningsförlamning är en vanligt förekommande sjukdom som drabbar främst högmjölkande mjölkor. Förlamningen uppkommer några dagar innan kalvning eller några dagar efter, på grund av kalciumbristen (hypokalcemi) som uppstår när kon ska börja producera mjölk. Den visar sig genom att kon får svårt att resa på sig då musklerna slutar att fungera när kalciumhalten blir för låg. Resultat från en studie har visat att mjölkmängden var lägre i början av laktationen på de kor som haft kalvningsförlamning och sedan ökat efter 4 till 6 veckor, tills den nått den normala mängden mjölk som kon haft i tidigare laktationer.

Syfte: Syftet med föreliggande litteraturstudie var att beskriva vad som orsakar fallolyckor hos äldre inom vårdhem, beskriva preventionsåtgärder samt att granska de urvalsmetoder som de granskade artiklarna använde sig av.Metod: Artiklar söktes i databaserna PubMed, Medline samt Cinahl med publiceringsbegränsning mellan år 2008-2013. Totalt 16 artiklar inkluderades.                 Resultat: Föreliggande litteraturstudies resultat delades upp i två huvudkategorier med sex underrubriker varav fyra berörde orsaker till fallolyckor och två behandlade preventionsåtgärder. 1) Individuella faktorer; flera individuella faktorer såsom ålder, ostabil gång samt medicinsk bakgrund visade sig orsaka fallolyckor hos äldre boende på vårdhem. 2) Fysisk vårdmiljö; många aspekter av vårdhemmets miljö orsakade fallolyckor hos äldre boende på vårdhem, exempel på dessa aspekter var rummens utformning samt inredning. 3) Hjälpmedel; ett samband påvisades mellan fallolyckor och hjälpmedlet rullstol där antalet fallolyckor ökade vid användandet av rullstolar.
