Hence, the student and teacher interaction in the classroom and the feedback given there play a significant role in the students? learning process. The aim of this study is to contribute to the development of formative assessment tools that can mediate the students? meaning-making in natural sciences subjects in upper-secondary school.

The chief aim of this study is to investigate the impact of context on written peer response. A second aim is to explore students? attitudes towards peer response. The investigation has taken place at an upper secondary school in the south-east of Sweden, involving 20 students in grade 2 and 3 in the course Swedish C. The investigation is based on the students? comments on their peers? speech drafts and six qualitative interviews.

This is a study of the letters from His Majesty the King to the county governor of Gotland in 1735. In the Age of Liberty the king had limited power. Royal decisions were made with the Council of the Realm where the King only had the advantage of having two votes and a casting vote. Furthermore, the Council had to act according to the decisions of the Estates of Parliament, if at least three of the four Estates were in agreement. The duties of the county governor were set out in a detailed instruction of which the most recent version was issued in 1734.
Jakten på en effektiv intervention : En kommuns satsning i åk 2 på intensiv lästeknisk träning för elever i lässvårigheter
The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of an intervention that focuses on phonics, decoding, reading speed and phonological awareness for 8-9 year old children in reading difficulties. Participants were selected on the basis of screening test results in grade one (decoding and reading comprehension). The participants were divided into two groups, an intervention group (A1, n=10 children) and a control group (A2, n=10). A1 received 30 minutes of intense reading instruction every day for six weeks from special educational needs teachers on top of their usual classroom based reading instruction. The control group received only their usual classroom-based reading instruction.

Möjligheter med en skola för alla : En intervjustudie om idrottslärarnas syn på inkludering av elever med funktionsnedsättningar
English is an international and global language that students, regardless of mother tongue, encounter in their everyday lives. In Sweden, students are introduced to English teaching in year 1, 2 or 3, and in some cases, year 4. English teaching can sometimes be problematic when the language of instruction often consists of Swedish, which for second language students becomes a challenge to acquire new skills in a week language.The study aims to examine, with a qualitative study, how pedagogues plan and implements English teaching in first grade with students whose mother tongue are other than Swedish. Further, the aim was to examine how pedagogues say they relate to the fact that second language pupils participating in English lessons and if they think it affects their English teaching.The conclusions is that the pedagogues has probably not been problematized the phenomenon examined and say they do not adapt their teaching. In the interviews reveals information about the teaching method which, in my opinion, indicates that, unconsciously, adapting their teaching when they have second language students.

flooring.
The advantage of wedge sawn wood flooring is the usage of more material from each board reducing
waste. The boards follow the natural profile of the tree where the root part of the board is wider,
and the top part is narrower. The technique involves placing boards side by side with adjacent boards
in opposite directions. The thick base of one board is neighbored by the narrow top of another, this
creates a pattern of wedges in alternating directions, known as a ?root and top? system.
Existing literature into this type of flooring is sparce.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how children search for and choose picture books while visiting the library together in a preschool group. How do children interact with each other and their teacher while searching for picture books? Which aspects of children's everyday lives are apparent in their choice of picture books? The theoretical frame of reference consists of Brenda Dervin's sense-making approach to information seeking and William Corsaro's sociological approach to studying children's routine activities within a peer culture. To capture children's interaction, we have observed a preschool group consisting of six 3- to 5-year olds and their teacher in a library setting during three visits. Our study shows that children's search for picture books is a social activity that involves various verbal and nonverbal strategies in order to include and exclude each other when they find a picture book that interests them.

There are few studies on the proportion of overweight dogs in Sweden, but it was estimated to be 33% in 2005. Studies in other countries report that between 25-40% of all dogs are overweight.
The aim of this study was to survey the animal care for an overweight dog. It was also important to develop a scientifically based advice.

The majority of the interest for Marie-Jean-Antoine-Nicolas de Caritat, Marquis de Condorcet (1743-1794), has been focused on his work in mathematics and political science, especially on his famous method on voting tally. With a background in the French enlightenment, on the brink of the revolution, this essay focuses on his political and philosophical ideas, specially his thoughts on the role of education in humanity?s struggle toward greater freedom. Is it possible to identify a connection between the concepts of education and freedom in his writings? This question is largely unanswered, even though it is fundamental for the understanding of the underlying reasoning of Condorcet.

I och med den nya lagstiftningen hoppades Antipiratbyrån och dess medlemsorganisationer att nedladdningen av musik och annan upphovsrättskyddat material skulle upphöra eller minska. Detta har den inte gjort samtidigt som det hela tiden kommer nya tekniker som gör det möjligt att gå förbi lagstiftningen, detta beror på att lagstiftningen upplevs som luddig. Efter den 1:a juli 2005 har det blivit olagligt att ladda ner upphovsrättsskyddat material. Trots detta förbud fortsätter personer att ladda ner, kan detta bero på att de saknar moral eller är det så att personerna har missuppfattat gällande lagstiftning? Denna uppsats undersöker endast de rådande förhållanden i Sverige.
Tweenies som modekonsumenter
Detta är en studie inom ämnet marknadsföring. Studien har undersökt vilka faktorer som påverkar tweenies d v s barn i åldersgruppen 9 -13 år i deras modekonsumtion, vilka skillnader det finns mellan hur modeintresserade och icke modeintresserade tweenies påverkas när de konsumerar mode samt vilka skillnader det finns mellan hur tweenies och deras föräldrar upplever att tweenies påverkas av olika faktorer i sin modekonsumtion. Undersökningen har genomförts i formen av en enkätstudie på tre olika låg- och mellanstadieskolor i Uppsala och Stockholm. Studien har visat att referensgrupper och speciellt vänner har stark påverkan på tweenies när de konsumerar mode, att modeintresserade tweenies generellt lättare påverkas av influenser utanför familjen samt att föräldrar och tweenies är samstämmiga i sin syn på vilka faktorer som påverkar tweenies. Studien visar att företag bör använda den typen av marknadskommunikation som tar vara på vänpåverkan när de har tweenies som målgrupp..

MED, I OCH MOT SEXARBETE EN FALLSTUDIE AV ORGANISATIONEN SAHELI HIV/AIDS KARYAKARTA SANGH I PUNE, INDIEN
Syftet med uppsatsen är att mot bakgrund av en teoretisk förförståelse om Indien och sexhandel undersöka och diskutera hur organisationen Saheli HIV/AIDS Karyakarta Sangh arbetar med kvinnor i sexarbete i Pune, Indien och undersöka hur personalen upplever arbetet. Frågeställningarna tar upp hur organisationen arbetar med kvinnor i sexarbete, hur personalen upplever arbetet och vilka samhälleliga faktorer som påverkar arbetet samt hur detta kan analyseras i förhållande till feministisk teori och empowerment. Uppsatsen är en kvalitativ studie som genomförts med sju respondentintervjuer, observationer samt litteraturstudier. Organisationen arbetar med stödjande insatser för kvinnor i sexarbete såsom kondominformation och -distribution, hjälp med omhändertagande av kvinnornas barn, hjälp till sjukvård och egen bank med villkor anpassade till kvinnornas situation. De arbetar även med information till samhället om sexarbete och dess problematik.
