Det har länge pågått en debatt huruvida aktiv förvaltning kan prestera bättre än marknaden och därmed göra skäl för en högre avgift än den för passiv förvaltning. Studien är relevant då majoriteten av Sveriges befolkning fondsparar genom premiepensionen. Uppsatsen är av kvantitativ karaktär och utvärderar 40 svenska aktivt förvaltade aktiefonder inom premiepensionen under perioden oktober 2010 ? september 2013. Närmare bestämt undersöks hur aktiva fonderna egentligen är samt den verkliga kostnaden för den aktiva förvaltningen. Metoden är uppbyggd som så att fonderna delas upp i en aktiv del och en passiv del, varvid kostnader samt prestationer allokeras mellan dessa delar.

Idag äger drygt 7 miljoner svenskar någon typ av värdepapper. Dessa handlas av två typer av investerare, den aktiva och den passiva. Den aktiva investeraren köper och säljer sina värdepapper mer frekvent för att dra nytta av dess upp och nedgångar, jämfört med den passiva investeraren som köper värdepappret på lång sikt.En aktiv investerare analyserar ständigt marknaden och dess utveckling, försöker utläsa historiska mönster för att förutspå hur framtiden kommer att utveckla sig. Att studera historiskt kursdata för att förutspå framtida mönster kallas teknisk analys . Två vanligt förekommande analysmetoder inom teknisk analys är glidande medelvärde och Relative Strength Index.

Saab har utvecklat en produkt, Remote Tower, som tillåter flygledningen att fjärrstyra en flygplats, det vill säga att övervaka och kontrollera en flygplats på distans. Ett viktigt verktyg för flygledarna är VCS, Voice Communication System, som är Saabs egna röstkommunikationssystem, där både radio- och telefonkommunikation ingår. VCS används för att kommunicera med piloter och markpersonal på flygplatsen. Målet är att i framtiden kunna fjärrstyra fler flygplatser samtidigt, och då finns ett behov att visualisera de inkommande samtalen från de olika flygplatserna i realtid. Detta för att undvika ett scenario där flygledaren missar ett samtal.

The purpose of the essay is to analyze the welfare state from a gender perspective. Further, the paper analyzes and critically examines three different normative solutions provided by Irish Marion Young, Nancy Fraser and Jürgen Habermas for the realization of a welfare state that includes women.Habermas argues that the welfare state has created a situation of dependency and state paternalism which reduces both individual and collective self-determination. Young follows Habermas? argument. She argues for a political climate where justice is reduced to the distribution of material goods rather than the elimination of underlying relations of domination and gender specific patterns.

Purpose/Aim: The aim is to study the critics own views upon their profession and upon the development of criticism, and to thereafter set this in relation to contemporary theory and debates.Material/Method: A qualitative study pursued through personal interviews. The results are categorized and split into different themes.Main Results: Through media convergence and a changed media culture the conditions for criticism have also been altered. But in spite of various negative prophecies, these changes cause no serious threat to criticism. New forums and new forms of criticism actually increase the importance of the traditional ditto as the authoritative voice that holds the field together. Still, there are questions and fears about a future seemingly less and less predictable.

If one looks at physical planning in Sweden today one can see that while talking about densification of existing development, reduced emissions and careful use of important land, urban sprawl is a fact with development of sheer residential districts in the urban edges and shopping malls in each and every municipality. As sustainable development is an essential goal for physical planning to strive towards, it is worth questioning if the direction of today?s planning will lead to the goal. A sustainable development can be seen as an obvious to goal aim at. In reality the aim means a hard and complex work.

Kost är ett brett ämne i dagens samhälle. Idag läggs ett stort fokus på barn och ungdomars prestation i skolan. Är det bara duktiga lärare som hjälper eleverna framåt eller finns det andra faktorer? Vi som blivande idrottslärare vill se hur mycket frukostens betydelse har på elevernas fysiska prestation. Eftersom kropp och själ hänger ihop har eleverna även fått skatta den upplevda fysiska ansträngningen.

Undersökningen tar upp hur rösten används, närmare bestämt berättarröstens påverkan, när den tjänstgör som berättarverktyg för läsupplevelsen. Språket är inte bara förknippat med det mänskliga intellektet utan också med den mänskliga kroppen. Språket är bundet till kroppen via vår röst. Vi har analyserat röster från ljudböcker och har använt oss av en lyssningsmodell för att byta fokus var vi lyssnade. Rösten i ljudboken bär med sig orden från författaren men även en del av sig själv.

Our purpose with this essay is to focus on how representatives from organizations, trustees and Support and Service for Persons with Certain functional Impairments- officials(abbreviated LSS after the Swedish title of the Act lag om stöd och service till vissa funktionshindrade), describe and discuss matters concerning the individuals? opinions and requests from within their respective position. We will with this as a base analyze how these three parties facilitate and meet the individuals? influence and self-determination.

This essay aims to examine and compare the attitudes of decision makers in the local government and representatives of pensioners in two different geographic areas. The main questions were:- their attitudes towards the "stay home principle" (kvarboendeprincipen, a principle that aims to make it possible for people with a handicap, disease or age to stay in their homes instead of moving to nursing homes).- their attitudes towards nursing homes for old people- their attitudes towards the possibility of staying at home when you are old and handicapped and in need of care.The essay is built on qualitative research methods, based on interviews and on a review of research in the field.The author found a complex picture of attitudes. Everybody thinks that the best is to live in your own home as long as possible, except from those who live with Alzheimer´s disease. They showed different opinions on the issue of the need for moving to nursing homes. This might result in forcing people to stay at home.

Kundrelationer som tidigare har hanterats via telefon eller på plats har ersatts av dagens lösning med ett IT-system som går att komma åt via Internet och ger mer möj-lighet till självbetjäning. Detta leder till frågorna: Vilka för-ändringar har IT-systemet medfört? Hur har interaktionen påverkats?Syfte: Att beskriva och förklara hur införandet av ett nytt IT-system påverkat interaktionen (relation) mellan ?kund? och leverantör vid en tidpunkt 5 år efter systemets införande. Med kund avses golfspelare och med leverantör avses golfklubb.Teori & Metod: Teoriavsnittet består av två delar.

Abstract The main purpose off this essay is to understand what different ways women and men use to communicate and make themselves acknowledged by their co-workers.  This is done by interviews with people at an ordinary office and trough observations at the workplace. A qualitative method was entrenched and seven respondents, four women and three men, age 43-55 was interviewed. The theoretical frame contains theories from Goffman?s dramaturgic perspective such as roles, facade etc.  The theories concerning gender come from Hirdman?s different analyses on how the relations between men and women take form. The data collected shows that men and women use their body language, voice and accessories in different ways to make themselves acknowledge at the office.

The purpose of this essay was to investigate the view of what kind of role the personal assistant has in disabled people´s life and sexlife and how conceptions of a "normal" life and "to live like others" can be identified related to this. My research questions was: What does the expression "to live like others" mean to the organisations? What is the view in the organisations of the personal assistant´s role in the client´s life? What is the view in the organisations of the personal assistant´s role in the client´s sexlife? What is the view in the organisations of disabled people´s rights to get assisted help with sex? I chose to do semistructured interviews with different organisations related to disability and assistance and I analysed the interviews with theoretical aspects of social constructivism, the principle of normalization and the theory of SRV (Social Role Valorization), autonomy, individualism and models of action. My main conclusion were that the views of disabled people´s sexuality and the personal assistant´s role in disabled people´s sexlife were widely separate. However, almost all of the organisations were pointing out the autonomy of the individual and the importance of setting the limits.

Obesity is a growing global health problem among both humans and cats with the risk of several medical conditions as a result. This can be detected and prevented by body condition assessment methods in order to visualize and detect possible or potential weight problems in cats.To achieve the best results, owner and cat should be introduced to this as soon as possible in their contact with veterinary care.Purina Body Condition System and Walthams Feline Body Mass Index are both morphometric assessment methods that are quick, relatively cheap and simple to perform. 20 cats with owners and a veterinary nurse student participated in a study to compare pet owners and a veterinary nurse student's assessment of the Purina Body Condition System and WALTHAM's Feline Body Mass Index. The body condition assessment methods were compared with each other, and it was investigated which method was preferred, the body condition distribution among the studied cats and if long-haired cats' body condition was more often misjudged. Results of the study showed a significant difference between pet owners and the veterinary nurse student's assessment of Purina BCS with a difference in median of 1.

Detta examensarbete handlar om hårdrockssångares medvetenhet när det gäller sångteknik. Syftet med arbetet är att få kunskap om vilka tillvägagångssätt de har använt sig av när de skapat sitt sound och hittat sin teknik. Den teoretiska utgångspunkten för studien är det sociokulturella perspektivet. Tidigare forskning inom området behandlar traditionell röstlära, mer moderna sångskolor och socialkulturella normer gällande inlärning. Jag har använt mig av den kvalitativa forskningsintervjun som metod och mina informanter är verksamma inom området.
