This study reviews outdoor educational activity, its contents and qualities, whose basis rests on reform educators as Dewey and Freire. These Pedagogues? methodology is based on the interaction between theory and practice, reflection and action. It appears from previous research that: Nature has beneficial effects on human health; Physical activity has positive effects on schoolchildren's health and on their test scores in mathematics and swedish. Training in outdoor education for teachers has contributed to outdoor education having become part of elementary schools´ activities.The purpose of this study is to find out to what extent a School of Nature is useful for three primary school teachers´ activities.

In this text I will work on three situations from my daily work as a pedagogue at preschool. The situations are about how Pedagogues at preschool relate to children in difficult situations, e.g. when they pee in their pants or long for their pacifier. Those are situations which occur frequently at preschool, but they are still rarely coming up for discussions. The problem in the situations is difficult to describe which makes the essay a suitable form for me to explore and discuss it.

The purpose of this study was to investigate into the praxis based sociocultural tools that are utilized to enhance language development in early childhood education. Four pre-school teachers were involved in this study. Two were recruited from an independent pre-school "Maria Montessori", practicing the pedagogical philosophy developed by Maria Montessori. Two were from a public pre-school herein named "Kvasten", which has no official philosophy but where the teachers (like in many Swedish pre-schools) work in a general alignment with the principles of Reggio Emilia pedagogics. The theoretical fundament of the study lies in the general theories of language development and education of Jean Piaget and Lev Vygotskij, and the comparative element mainly concerns the variations in pedagogical praxis between the two pre-schools, and the way the teachers reason about language development.

AbstractIn this master´s thesis I primarily investigate librarians´ and teachers´ conceptions of collaboration between libraries and schools and their conceptions of childrens´reading. Secondary I investigate the contents of laws concerning libraries and schools and also the school curriculums concerning the subject field of the Swedish language. My theoretical point of departure is that of social constructionism. I use two models in my analysis. One is a model of collaboration created by Patricia Montiel-Overall, called TLC (Teacher Librarian Collaboration), which grades collaboration from the lowest level (A) to the highest (D).

Our starting point has been to use the football player Zlatan Ibrahimovic as a model person for individualism that seams to break the ordinary socialization pattern in Sweden. The purpose of this study is to examine how the team leaders handle the socialization of more individualistic focused individuals/young persons into groups, since the Swedish School Curriculum is designed to meet each individual on his or hers former experiences. Is the socialization of individuals within team sports affected by their cultural background? And, in that case, should those facts have consequences for the sport subject at school? Those are the questions we want to explore. Besides a survey of documents, we have been seeking answers to our questions through interviews with the team leaders Roland Nilsson and Peter Bergander, the Pedagogues/teachers Karin Jutterström and Håkan Jensgård and the professional football player Abgar Barson.Our study shows that the leaders and teachers of today have begun to change their view about individualists.

Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka pedagogers och barns samspel i relation med matematiska begrepp och ta reda på vilka matematiska begrepp som blir synliga vid aktiviteter inomhus i en förskoleklass. Arbetet är både en kvantitativ och en kvalitativ undersökning. Strukturerade observationer och intervjuer används som undersökningsmetoder. Intervjuerna kompletterar observationerna för att ta reda på pedagogers syfte med aktiviteterna och hur medvetna pedagoger arbetar. Dessutom jämförs observationerna och intervjuerna i analysen. Studien visar att pedagogerna har en stor betydelse i barnens matematiska begreppsutveckling. Språket är hjälpmedel för att kunna påverka barnens tankar mot utveckling och barnens användning av matematiska begrepp är beroende av hur ofta pedagogerna uttrycker sig med hjälp av matematiska begrepp.

Studien handlar om verksamma pedagogers syn på högläsning. Med högläsning avser vi när pedagogen läser högt ur en text, en bok eller ett läromedel. Bakgrunden till studien var att få reda på hur pedagogerna använder sig av högläsning i undervisningen då vi genom egna erfarenheter, från den verksamhetsförlagda utbildningen (VFU) under vår lärarutbildning, upplever den som tidsfördriv. Vi anser att man som pedagog ska kunna motivera alla val man gör gällande all undervisningstid. Vårt intresse för högläsning väcktes under en kurs som vi deltog i som behandlade hur barn lär sig läsa och skriva och en annan kurs som behandlade barn- och ungdomslitteratur. Syftet med studien var att ta reda på pedagogernas intentioner med att använda högläsning i sin undervisning och vad de grundar sina val på.

A substantial part of the Swedish outdoor education is being practiced in so called ?school forests?. The concept school forest was first introduced in the 1980?s by the organization Skogen i Skolan. The definition of a school forest is an area that is being used for educational purposes, over which the school and the land owner has reached an agreement of how the school may utilize it.

Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to investigate to what a few preschool teachers and mother-tongue teachers consider the influence mother-tongue training has on children. The thesis also looks into how these teachers cooperate and view about the mother-tongue training organization structure and what support mother-tongue teachers get in the concerned preschools. More specifically:What influences do three preschool teachers and three mother-tongue teachers consider that mother-tongue training has on the development of the children?Which support do the three mother-tongue teachers receive from the preschool principals and other preschool Pedagogues in their work? - Is there any cooperation between them?In what way do the three preschool teachers and the three mother-tongue teachers think that the mother-tongue training organization structure affect the children?s status in the group?Method: In order to achieve a deeper understanding of the context, a qualitative method based on interviews and observations was employed and relied upon. Three preschool teachers and three mother-tongue teachers from two different preschools in the same municipality were interviewed to acquire answers to the questions concerned.Result: The result of this enquiry shows a direct and explicit comprehension that mother-tongue is immensely important for children?s development.

The purpose of this essay is to explore how educators are supposed to prioritize their work at the preschool so that all children are listened to and the conditions necessary for kids to dare to express their feelings and thoughts are in place. How is the relationship important for the child's learning? How do I become a committed educator who knows how to interpret and prioritize my work so it benefits children's learning? I am developing these questions in two parts in my following text. Firstly I am writing about why it is important that we who work as Pedagogues meet the child on the child?s own terms.

My purpose with this essay is to examine the relationship between esthetic learning processes and language development to find good practices in my work with multilingual children. In my report, I describe a few activities from my work as a preschool pedagogue in a multicultural area, with a large group of children where age and knowledge of Swedish varies. The background to this essay is the problems I experienced in my work with children´s language development in an organization that, in my opinion, is limited by economic factors. The questions I poses are about the way esthetic learning processes can help children develop their language skills as well as their participation in preschool activities. I also pose the question whether there is a connection between the musical ear and children´s development of language.

Denna uppsats behandlar litteraturens samt några pedagogers syn på integrering av elever i behov av särskilt stöd i grundskolan. I inledningen beskriver jag orsakerna till varför jag valt att skriva om elever i behov av särskilt stöd. Syftet med arbetet är att belysa integrering samt lyfta fram vad litteraturen säger om integrering i en jämförelse med verksamma pedagoger ute på skolorna. Som bakgrund redogör jag för historiken, vad ordet integrering innebär liksom vad vi menar med särskilt stöd och vem som behöver särskilt stöd. I litteraturgenomgången redovisas vad olika styrdokument säger om elever i behov av särskilt stöd, om skolans mål kan tolkas som en ideologi eller en praktik, vad ett oriktigt användande av ordet integrering medför, den specialpedagogiska modellen, beredskap och ansvar för att möta dessa elevers behov, elevintegrering i praktiken samt vad ett åtgärdsprogram innebär och när ett sådant upprättas.

The aim of my examination work was to compare and research how russian respective swedish teachers make use of educational aesthetic methods such as drawing, drama, music and dance in the teaching of core school subjects ? mathematics and swedish respective russian languages. The aim of this work was to find out which of these methods are used by Pedagogues in the process of education and on what level are they integrated into the theoretical pedagogic work. The point was to also analyse the regulation documents used as pedagogical base in schools i've been doing my survey in. This was done to partly find out what arts perspective is given in the curriculum and partly to see what pieces of it are reflected in the process of education.
