Syftet med detta utvecklingsarbete är att utforma och utvärdera en lektionsserie för att se om det är möjligt att lära geometri med hjälp av konkret material och vardagsnära matematik, för elever i åldern 8-9-år. För att utforma och utvärdera utvecklingsarbetet har intervjuer använts som metod. I arbetet planerades och genomfördes fyra temadagar tillsammans med 13 elever där varje lektionstillfälle hade fokus på ett område inom geometri. Genomförandet visar att arbetet med konkret och vardagsnära matematik inte behöver vara invecklat utan är fullt av möjligheter. Intervjuerna visar också att det är lustfyllt för eleverna och de visar stort engagemang och intresse för uppgiften.

SammanfattningSyftet med uppsatsen har varit att söka reda på huruvida keramiklera används som material för undervisningen i formgivning i högstadie- och gymnasieskolan, varför eller varför inte materialet används samt att se på lärares inställningar till materialet. Metoden har varit en enkätundersökning bestående av frågor till högstadie- och gymnasielärare rörande olika aspekter vad gäller materialet keramiklera och lärarnas inställning till materialet. De svar enkätundersökningen gett visar på att keramiklera inte är vanligt förekommande i undervisningen för formgivning. Resultaten visar även att lärarna i brist på passande lokal, brännugn och tid väljer in andra material i sin undervisning som skulle kunna ersätta keramikleran..

The prior object of this paper is to describe the project, it?s planning, it?s methods, it?s carrying through, and it?s goals. This study presents the district of Hovsjö in Södertälje.

This thesis project explores technologies that enable people to experience the world through animals' senses in order to spark interest in and awareness about the marine environment and its inhabitants. The project is carried out as part of a planned ocean themed science center. The purpose is to explore how a greater understanding of the marine environment can be achieved using interactive technologies. The thesis is based on a theoretical framework consisting of academic works on experience, learning in a museum context and sensory perception. Our proposed designs are a series of, primarily, wearable devices that translate sensory experiences and principles from the marine world to humans.

Hallstaviks papermill is an industry plant within Holmen Paper. Hallstavik is a mechanical mill and produce newspaper and journal paper. During year 2000, Hallstavik used approximate 1.200 m3f spruce, either as logs or chips from sawmills. Due to that the production is running continuously the mill also needs raw material at the same rate. At some periods the supply of raw material cannot keep up pace.

Children at the age of six, has since 1991 been allowed to start their tuition in the Swedish school system. Studies reveal that; the first school year (preschool) can be a stressful task dueto the new environment, new friendships and higher expectations.The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze how the teachers perceive their own role in the transitioning process from preschool to school. This purpose required a method of qualitative complexion and therefore qualitative interviews were used. The material is based on four interviews with four different teachers. The teachers were asked the same question considering; the transition from preschool to school from a pupil point of view, their own role in that transition and their opinions on different educational tools.

The purpose of this study was to to examine what teachers think about visual art and how the learning process in this subject does look like. To answer these issues, I made interviews with five teachers of visual art from different schools, and I examined several examples of pupils? artworks. The stories of the teachers were analyzed in relation to governing documents and with assumptions from sociocultural theory, postmodernism and pedagogical - aesthetic research as theoretical point of view.By the qualitative interview method, the observations of the pupil?s artworks, and by the analysis of the interviews with the teachers, I have come to the conclusion that teachers think differently about art but they try to keep themselves in line with the national governing documents.

This master thesis is the documented work of the construction process and testing of a three hour laboratory session in mathematics aimed at high school level students. The purpose of the thesis was to create an interesting laboratory session for the science education center ?The House of Science? that could be used as a part of their regular program directed to schools. The thesis explores the possibilities for how one can construct a laboratory session on the topic ?molecular symmetry? as well as the underlying pedagogical theories used to describe learning processes in creative contexts.

Kunskapen om växthuseffekten, regnskogskövling, energiförbrukning och människans hälsa är mycket högre idag än för några år sedan. Båtindustrin är en konservativ bransh och inredningar baserade på exklusiva ädeträarter från regnskogen har historiskt sett varit mycket populära. Dessa material är även idag populära men på grund av den ökande kunskapen om miljöpåverkningar har fler kunder blivit accepterande av alternativa material. Detta medför att båtproducenter nu kan lansera nya ersättande material med bättre miljöegenskaper.Denna fakta bas är grunden till detta examensarbete som handlade om att utveckla och formge en nya mer miljövänlig båtinredning baserad på alternativa material.

This paper concerns the treatment of people at execution places and it is focusing on Gotland and the execution place called Galgberget. The material in the paper comes from Galgberget and a gallow in Denmark called Slots Bjergby. Together with this the laws of Gotland during the medieval and later periods are discussed and also how the archaeological material (especially the buttons) found on the excavation site can help to understand the people buried on the gallow site. The result of the analysis shows that the laws and the material found on the excavation site often tells different things. The punishments are often softer then what the law says.

The purpose of this study has been to look how pedagogic process interacts in horse riding lessons. In order to research this problem I have used an ethnographic approach and during a week I observed ten riding lessons in two separate Riding house in the south of Sweden. In my theoretical frame I have used Michel Foucault ?Discipline and punish? as a toll to make clear how dominance and submission is present and active in the horse riding education. The conclusion shows how dominant power rules by its presence and creates submission, stability and feeling of security. The discipline is used to create a feeling that will bring the riders to new experience and develop their talent.

The historical aspect is given by a study of bibliographic data in different catalogues of a specific collection. The aim is also to understand what specific problems will arise in the work of cataloguing music materials and how the problems are discussed in the literature. The study is focusing of church music material and the history of churchmusic is therefore given an exposition. The origin of musical notation, which took place within the church, is also discussed.

Abstract (in English)The purpose of this work is to find out what the driving instructor who currently works as a transport teachers feel about today´s driving education to transport high school to how it works at driving school. I describe in the study on how to become a transport teachers and on their everyday work. Even what others have written on this topic on driver training. I also interviewed four driving instructor who currently works as a transport teacher, about what they had for opinions on this issue. The method I have used myself of where unstructured questions to get so descriptive answers to questions as possible.

Abstract: When playing in teams, communication is important, not just communication with words but also non-verbal communication such as gestures and body languish. The purpose with this study is to see how there is a co-op among communicating players , between leaders and players and to examine what meaning communication and culture got  in a youth team. The ambition with this study was to increase our knowledge about communication and communicationculture in the youth floorball team. This study is qualitative and was inspired by an ethnographical method so we got the information from observations of a youth floorball team, totally we made four observations. The result were analyzed and categorized from our observation papers.
