Background and problem: In the last few years the threat against the environment and especially the emissions of carbon dioxide has become increasingly debated. The government have set up a goal to lower the emissions of carbon dioxide with 40 percent until 2020 compared to the level in 1990. The emissions in the transportation sector have, in contrast to the total emissions, increased since 1990 and will continue to increase unless powerful control measures are implemented. The lorry centres have to use strategies to answer to these external threats which lead us to the two questions of this thesis: - What methods do the lorry centres use actively and which do they consider as the most important methods for fuel saving? - Are there any differences which methods small, medium and large centres considers as important? Purpose: The main purpose of this thesis is to examine which methods lorry centres use actively and which they consider as important for fuel saving.

Samhället är föränderligt och påverkas av globala faktorer. Arbetslivet tvingas till kontinuerlig utveckling och anpassning till rådande omställningar. Företag och organisationer måste ständigt förnyas och utvecklas för fortsatt existens. Två begrepp som används i samband med utveckling och förnyelse i organisationer är kreativitet och innovation. Syftet med den här undersökningen var att beskriva och analysera vilka övergripande faktorer som ledare uppfattar påverka kreativitet och innovation i organisationen.

This two years master's thesis in Library and Information science, examines how the implementation of new technical equipment can affect how staff in public libraries organize their work and activities in the library. One Swedish public library in specific is the subject of research in this thesis, which has been anonymized as Kvarntuna city library. The study takes place in the beginning of the implementation of RFID-technology in the library. RFID, which stands for Radio Frequency Identification, is supposed to make the handling with different types of media in the library more efficient and in connection with the implementation one wants to reorganize work and activities in the library to make it even more efficient and also create a modern library.The thesis' method is qualitative interviews with six members of the staff. The theoretical framework of the thesis is a sociocultural perspective, especially inspiered by Roger Säljö, a Swedish professor in pedagogical psychology.

The idea for this project was initiated together with one of the leaders in the forest, paper and packaging industry. To get through an A/R CDM process the company is exposed to the risk of failing the process or that the overall costs will exceed the benefits of the project. This would delete the incentives to invest in GHG removals compared to purchasing emission allowances on the carbon market. The questions that have been raised and needs clarification in the thesis are the following:? From a company perspective, what are the incentives for implementing Forest Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) projects?? What is a likely financial outcome of a reforestation CDM project on degraded land in the Guangxi province of the Peoples Republic of China?? When does an investment like this break even with the cost of buying market based carbon emission allowances? The objective of this master thesis is to carry out a research about the incentives for forest, paper and packaging companies to invest in reforestation through the clean development mechanism.

The purpose with this thesis is to analyse the image of the Chinese that was constructed and maintained in the materials published in association to the Swedish Mission Covenant Church (SMF) missionary work in China between the years of 1890 to 1914.The analysed material is mainly from the periodical Missionsförbundet, the analyse also include various books, biographies and anthologies. Inspired by Michel Foucault I found my methodological starting point in his discourse term. Frome there, by the help of the texts of Torjer A. Olsen, I constructed a discourse analyses, by which I analysed my materials.The survey showed that the material associated to SMF foremost constructed a negative pictureof the Chinese as unclean, conservative, arrogant, liars, greedy, loud, bad singers and that the woman situation was seen as untenable. A more appreciative picture also emerged and the Chinese was described as polite and strong.

There's no doubt today that mankind has contributed to the changing climate byher use of fossil fuels. This must change in the nearby future. The Europeanleaders are expressing concern that renewable energy sources are not beingused to their full potential. The 2001/77/EC Directive on Electricity Productionfrom Renewable Energy Sources was accepted in 2001 to encourage thedevelopment of energy production from renewable sources, which isconsidered a step towards the fulfillment of the goal of the Union, that 12% ofthe gross energy consumption should come from renewable energy sources bythe year 2010.The objective of this thesis is to illuminate the common legislation of the EUregarding renewable energy with regard to goal fulfillment, judicial quality,conflicts with other goals of the EU and other faults. The objective is reachedby a hermeneutic study in which interpretation of written text is the mainmethod.

A budget consists of figures showing how much a particular activity has access to during a given year. With a balanced scorecard, these figures and guidelines can be converted in to more easily understandable non-financial instructions for the employees. One of the most significant differences between the budget and the scorecard is that the budget focuses on short-term results while the scorecard focuses on long-term visions and goals. With a long-term thinking the leaders can  set more long-term goals and also make more well-planned investments which increases the possibility for the organization to evolve and become better in the long term. By combining the two instruments a good balance between short and long term perspectives can be achieved, which creates a more effective steeringIn the 1990s, many of the municipalities introduced needs budget, one of them was Gothenburgs municipality.

I min essä utgår jag från en händelse i min verksamhet som är en stressig situation för mig. Jag upplever att vi har fått ett hårdare arbetsklimat på förskolan sedan den reviderade Läroplanen för förskola kom 2011 och undersöker därför hur samhällsklimatet idag är och bakgrunden till den reviderade Läroplanen för förskola och vad den innebär för oss pedagoger. Jag tar reda på vad stress är och hur det påverkar barn och vuxna samt undersöker vad begreppet pedagogisk kvalitet står för. I mina reflektioner lyfter jag fram olika sätt som jag och mina kollegor hanterar stress och vårt pedagogiska uppdrag på. Jag funderar även över om vi vuxna producerar stress till barnen samt vad barnen får för pedagogisk verksamhet under pedagogernas rådande arbetsbelastning.Avsikten med min essä är att förstå hur jag på bästa sätt ska kunna hantera våra ökade åtaganden och samtidigt undvika stress för barn och pedagoger och skapa de bästa förutsättningarna för barnen att få en verksamhet med pedagogisk kvalitet.Min undersökning visar att Läroplanen för förskola har reviderats för att barn ska få den kunskapsbas de behöver för att klara sig i samhället.

The motivation to conduct the study was that external project managers have become more common the last decades. At the same time trust is considered to be a key factor for efficiency and good results for the organisation. The group members? trust in the leader is built on past experiences of both the leader at a personal level, and the leaders? relationship to the task. Trust can also be built over time, when the leader earns trust from the group members.

SammanfattningStudiens syfte var att undersöka förskolans dokumentation utifrån relationen till barnet, verksamheten och det systematiska kvalitetsarbetet, samt hur detta relateras till utvärderingsarbetet. Syftet preciserade med följande frågeställningar: I vilken grad används olika underlag i förskolans systematiska kvalitetsarbete för att dokumentera? I vilken grad uppfattar förskolans lärare att det systematiska kvalitetsarbetet i dokumentation, utvärdering och analys utförs? Finns det några samband av förskolans lärares syn mellan utvärderingens analys till det konkreta utvecklingsarbetet?  Enkätundersökningen genomfördes genom att 14 förskolor besöktes och totalt 100 enkäter delades personligen ut till förskolans lärare, varav 78 besvarades. Enkäten bestod av olika påståenden utifrån syfte och frågeställningar, som förskolans lärare skulle ta ställning till. De statistiska analyser som används var univariat deskriptiv analys, ANOVA, multivariat variationsanalys faktoranalys.Studien utgår från ett postmodernt synsätt, där det förstås att det inte finns någon absolut kunskap i pedagogiska sammanhang, och där vår värld och kunskap kan ses som en socialt konstruerad process, där alla aktivt deltar.Resultatet visade att det underlag som förskolans lärare använder för dokumentation är verktyget ?foto? och att pedagogisk dokumentation ses som ett arbetsredskap, som synliggör förskolans verksamhet, och kunskapsområden.

The aim of my examination work was to compare and research how russian respective swedish teachers make use of educational aesthetic methods such as drawing, drama, music and dance in the teaching of core school subjects ? mathematics and swedish respective russian languages. The aim of this work was to find out which of these methods are used by pedagogues in the process of education and on what level are they integrated into the theoretical pedagogic work. The point was to also analyse the regulation documents used as pedagogical base in schools i've been doing my survey in. This was done to partly find out what arts perspective is given in the curriculum and partly to see what pieces of it are reflected in the process of education.

Companies and projects often face the challenge of creating something new to increase their competitiveness. In this process of creating something new creativity is an important factor. By using a creative approach and utilizing creative processes new innovations emerges. An industry that has grown in recent years is the computer games industry. Competition is fierce and for the companies to succeed, the product need that extra something to make it stand out among all the produced games.The project manager's role in the creative process and the ability to be creative within a distance based company is not something highlighted by previous research.

SammanfattningSyfte och frågeställningar: Syftet var att undersöka energiutgifterna vid användandet av en dansmatta respektive ett traditionellt danspass.Våra frågeställningar var: Hur skiljer sig energiutgiften för ett traditionellt danspass mot ett pass med dansmatta? Samt: hur förhåller sig energiutgiften i de olika aktiviteterna till de dagliga rekommendationer för fysisk aktivitet?Metod: Försöksgruppen som genomförde studien bestod av fyra män och fyra kvinnor i åldrarna 23-26 år. Försökspersonerna har sedan tidigare blandad vana av fysisk aktivitet. Metoden utarbetades utifrån sambandet mellan hjärtfrekvens (HF) och arbetsbelastning (w). Försökspersonerna fick genomgå tre olika typer av tester.

Vårt syfte med denna studie var att undersöka när, hur och i vilket syfte pedagogerna och barnen använder sig av lärplattan i sin verksamhet. För att få syn på det ställde vi oss följande frågor. Hur resonerar pedagogerna kring användandet av digitala verktyg i förskolans verksamhet? När, hur och i vilket syfte använder pedagoger och barn lärplattan i förskolans verksamhet? Vilka möjligheter, dilemman och/eller konflikter med digital dokumentation lyfter pedagogerna fram? När vi skriver pedagoger och verksamhet avser vi de två förskolor i Skåne som vi har gjort vår studie på. Vår studie bygger på en metodtriangulering, det vill säga att vi valde att arbeta med olika insamlingsmetoder för att ge oss en bredare förståelse för studien.

When examining luxury products and what drives men and women to pay premium prices for a brand and for a logo, a fascinating finding is that there are products that fundamentally lacks these attributes, but which are considered to be classic luxury products. An example of this is perfume.
