In my work I have chosen to examine the profitability for small scale production of hemp briquettes. My study also includes a review of which briquette technique that is the most common one among small scale producers. The reason that I have chosen this subject is because of the discussions about climate and energy that we face almost every day. I also think the subject is extra interesting in these days when the grain prizes are at a historic high level. In order for me to achieve a reliable report, a hemp and briquette producer has given me the actual data from his farm. In that way I have been able to make my calculations from a concrete perspective.

When the producers? responsibility for packaging was introduced in Sweden in 1994 the industry set up public recycling stations to facilitate the collection of the waste material. In order to establish recycling stations at suitable locations the municipalities assist the industry?s service organization for operation of the recycling stations, the Package and Newspaper Collection Service (Förpacknings- och tidningsinsamlingen, FTI). The objectives of this thesis are to improve the service of the public recycling stations within Lidingö town and to increase the accessibility to these stations for the inhabitants of Lidingö.

Den här studien undersöker Miljöplanen 2010-2020 som tagits fram i Järfälla kommun för att underlätta och strukturera miljöarbetet inom kommunen. Frågorna som ställs är hur planens införande har förändrat arbetet i kommunen och om kommunen är på väg att uppnå de miljömål som satts upp inför 2020. Studien inriktar sig på en del av miljöplanens tre delar; Det miljömedvetna Järfälla.Frågeställningarna besvaras genom intervjuer med miljömålens ansvariga samt analys av kommundokumentation. Metoden som har använts är grundad teori som innebär att undersökningen inte utgår från redan befintlig teori utan skapar en egen teori utifrån resultatet.Resultatet visar att Järfälla kommun är på god väg att uppnå uppsatta miljömål och att miljöplanen har lett till positiva förändringar i miljöarbetet. Däremot behöver ytterligare insatser göras för att samordna och strukturera arbetet och skapa tydligare rutiner för planering och uppföljning av uppsatta mål..

As the actors inside them music industry find themselves in an ever changing climate where traditional supply chains are threatened by new technology, the record labels need to change the way they work in order to maintain their existence in the music industry. The study has been conducted by interviewing a number of people involved in the music industry, by using a qualitative method approach. The conclusion of the study shows that the traditional way of doing business by treating music as a product that makes revenue is gone. Instead the labels have to take on new roles formerly run by third parties in order to survive and be profitable, especially since artists can now in control of activities that used to be controlled by the record label..

Studien undersöker Peter von Möllers agerande inom jordbruksutvecklingen i teori och praktik för åren 1831-1883, en tid som i Sverige sammankopplas med det allra mest intensiva skedet av den agrara revolutionen. Von Möllers egna skrifter utgör grunden för undersökningens jordbruksteoretiska del. Det praktiska jordbruket på von Möllers gods, i Skottorp, har studerats utifrån ett flertal kvantitativa metoder i godsarkivets material. Studien syftar till att beskriva teori och praktik samt finna de sammanlänkande kopplingarna dem emellan. Det ges också jämförande utblickar mot regional och nationell utveckling för samma tid.

Abstract The increased focus on social capital theory has made its way into labour economics. This has led to the creation of a vast literature about the use of networks and informal search methods in the labour-market, a literature that to some extent also deals with immigrants search behaviour and their relatively high unemployment rate. Characteristic for the literature in the area is the lack of analysis of actual networks. Which types of contacts do these networks contain; how are the networks used in the labour-market; and which type of network generates a high amount of social capital. These questions are important for the general understanding of how social capital functions, within the labour-market, but also for the understanding of how immigrants use their networks in order to find themselves jobs.

At the beginning of the nineties, a new form of organisation, the process organisation, was about to be born. The features of the process organisation were a flexible organisational that works in a world where the pace of development is increasing all the time. Today there are many organisations that have mapped their processes, but in order to truly become a process organisation, the processes among other things have to be in harmony with e.g. organisational culture. Which effects the organisational culture has on the process organisation is yet unexplored, but however quite crucial.

Jag ville med denna undersökning se vad de tillfrågade gymnasieeleverna trodde att de skulle bli motiverade av på en arbetsplats. För att få svar på denna fråga användes fem svenska gymnasieelever och grundad teori som metod för insamlingen av information. Grundad teori valdes för att jag skulle kunna möta mitt intresseområde utan förutfattade meningar och skapa en för mig ny teori grundad i verkligheten. Att undersöka vad unga vill se i en framtida arbetsplats verkar inte lika vanligt som att undersöka vilken typ av person ett företag vill ha. Därför var inriktningen ungas önskemål mer intressant för mig.  Resultaten från undersökningen visade att det som respondenterna helst ville se i en arbetsplats för att bli motiverade var ett positivt och socialt arbetsklimat.

Syfte Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka och analysera hur läkemedelsföretaget AstraZenecas verklighet förhåller sig till begreppet first-mover advantage. Vi ämnar även undersöka hur AstraZeneca agerar för att behålla de first-mover advantages som företaget tillskansat sig. Det teoretiska syfte är inte att utveckla en helt nya teori utan att med ett konceptuellt tillvägagångssätt studera var företagets verklighet stämmer respektive inte stämmer in på av oss vald teori. Vi bidrar därför med en kompletterande teori för fallföretaget, utifrån de speciella förutsättningar som gäller. Slutligen ämnar vi kritiskt granska den nuvarande strategin för AstraZeneca med hjälp av befintlig teori och poängtera de eventuella brister företaget har i förhållande till befintlig teori där den skulle kunna appliceras.

Nowdays an efficient production is critical to achieve for companies competing on the market for steel cutting tools. One of such companies is Halmstad based Tooling Support Halmstad AB that manufactures threading-taps, threading-dies and parting off tools, towards a centralized warehouse in Schiedam, Holland. The large amount of different products, approximately 2500 is a big contributor to the problem along with a new order system that creates a demand of low setup times. Previously the company was forwarded orders through quarter based prognoses which enabled planning of the production over a longer time span. Currently the newer order system ZENIT is in use and the company thereby gets their orders weekly.

Jag ska i denna uppsats redogöra för och diskutera kritik emot George Dickies institutionella konstteori, såsom den framställs i the Art Circle (1984) och framåt, senast i Art and Value (2001). Det vill säga vad som brukar kallas för Dickies senare institutionella konstteori. Jag kommer att begränsa mig till denna senare variant av teorin då det är den enda teori som Dickie fortfarande vill försvara och då den av de allra flesta anses vara den bästa och mest utvecklade versionen av den institutionella teorin. Att jag väljer att diskutera en teori som kan tyckas gammal (om än kanske inte i jämförelse med många andra teorier som fortfarande diskuteras), föråldrad och hårt kritiserad beror för det första på att Dickie (2001) fortfarande håller fast vid den och försöker försvara den. För det andra på att många senare teorier om vad konst är på ett eller annat sätt är inspirerade av eller påverkade av Dickies teori, och det tycks därför som om den fortfarande borde ha vissa styrkor (om än också svagheter).

I vår uppsats vill vi belysa de icke västerländska konstnärernas roll i det svenska kulturlivet. Med hjälp av en postkolonial teori vill vi titta närmare på hur de och deras konst bli bemött och vilka förutsättningar de har att verka inom kultursektorn på samma villkor som de etniskt svenska konstnärerna. Konst är gränsöverskridande, men trots det så görs det skillnad på konst och konst, vi att undersöka varför, i förhållande till vår teori..

The attention on environmental issues has never been as huge as today. The climate is changing and more and more evidence suggest that the cause behind climate changes is an increase of carbondioxide into the atmosphere. The increase in turn is considerd to be an act of human activity. Therefore some companies have decided to become climate neutral and implement information technology in their business in order to reduce their emissions. This thesis has three aimes: to calculate a small company´s carbondioxide emissions, study whether or not information technology could help to reduce these emissions and furthermore find out why some companies decided to become climate neutral and describe the concept climate neutral.

Researchers claim that stress has become a word of fashion and is now frequently used. They also state that there is no accepted definition that can easily describe the concept. In this essay, I have examined children and stress. The aim of the diploma work is to illustrate stress more closely the stress concept, the underlying reasons that can influence children and how teachers and school staff support children in their stress handling. My three issues are: What is stress? What stressors put children, at home and at school, in a stress situation? How can teachers help children to manage their stress? The diploma work is based on a literature study in order to find out what has been written on the subject in earlier research.
