Security Council resolution 1325 (2000) is about women, peace and security. Since the resolution was adopted several countries has made their own National Action Plan for implementation of the resolution.Sweden and Denmark are two of these countries. Resolution 1325 is one of the documents that each countries armed force has to relate to in international work.These countries can get to work together in international operations within the framework of the Nordic Defense Cooperation, NORDEFCO. This study is done by looking at similarities and differences in the action plans and whether they can be an obstacle for the countries to cooperate in an international operation.In this paper a comparative analysis of Sweden and Denmark's plans for the Security Council resolution 1325 will be done. The comparison is made based on the clauses of the resolution relating to the member states actions.In this paper, a qualitative text analysis to be carried out with sections of Resolution 1325 as a model for the comparison..

Liberia har på senare tid präglats av instabilitet och misslyckat fredsbyggande. Vår ambition är att ge en välgrundad förståelse för inbördeskriget 1989-1996, och att på ett resonerande sätt besvara frågan varför man inte lyckades etablera varaktig fred efter krigsslutet. Uppsatsen är en teorikonsumerande fallstudie av Liberia med ett tvådelat syfte. Vårt fall analyseras utifrån teorier om krigsorsaker och fredsbyggande och empirin utgörs av tidigare forskning på området. De slutsatser vi nått är att kriget kan förstås som ett resultat av statens urholkade makt och de missförhållanden detta skapade.

My objective for this project was to create a short but thrilling 2D-animation intended as promotion for an online comic book. The purpose of the project was to learn more about animation and graphics, to further my artistic skills and to learn how to work in Adobe After Effects. I also wanted to learn more about scheduling, project methods and how to handle stress. During the ten weeks of the project I have created the story, the storyboard, the character design, the backgrounds and the animation. The voice over was recorded with the help of a fellow student who also made the music and the sound effects.

This thesis concerns the policy process of a proposed bill. The specific bill constitute a new penal law which is supposed to replace the old penal law from 1974.The questions asked considers what in the foregoing policy process that has proceeded, affected and also characterizes the proposed bill. In order to be able to produce a deep and reliable analysis to this question I use two different theories.The first theory being used consists of John W. Kingdons theory of ?multiple streams? which I use to answer the specific question ?what can be recognized to have proceeded and characterize the policy process that the penal law bill involve??.The second theory consists of Peter Santesson-Wilsons development of symbolic policy theories which is given a concrete form in the ?taxonomy of symbolic policy? which he presents.

Genusvetenskapen önskar att framhäva genus, med både fokus på enbart kvinnor och på maktrelationen mellan män och kvinnor, i fredsarbetet samt återuppbyggnaden av postkonfliktsamhällen. Kvinnor har länge exkluderats och ignorerats i fredsarbeten. I och med uppkomsten av resolution 1325, som syftar till att visa kvinnors avgörande roll i fredsarbete har genus blivit ytterligare accepterat i det internationella samfundet. Syftet med vår uppsats är att undersöka vilken betydelse genus kan spela i fredsprocesser. Genom att undersöka fallet Liberia och den fredsprocess som landet genomgår vill vi belysa de konsekvenser som genus har i denna fredsprocess.

Scania is constantly trying to improve their product development process, the PD-process.The company, along with others, is optimizing their development process in order to gainadvantage in terms of shorter lead times and larger market shares. For this to happen, a wellorganized process is required.The PD-process is divided into three different phases that are linked together by a hand-overprocedure. Scania Bus has experienced problems that stem from a lack of hand-over routines,and as a result the product development process has been slowed down. This has a number ofconsequences, one of them being the complication of new project initiations.The main purpose of this master thesis was to review the hand-over procedure. Since universities are important organizations where our future citizens get their education and become socialized, I found it interesting to investigate how a Swedish university handles the gender equality issue in the process of recruitment. The aim of this study was to contribute with a higher level of knowledge and understanding about the recruitment process out of a gender equality perspective. The aim was also to identify which stages of the recruitment process that was vulnerable out of a gender equality perspective.

Rational Unified Process (RUP) är en systemutvecklingsmetod som tillhandahåller ett modifierbart tillvägagångssätt för hur man skall fördela uppgifter och ansvar inom ett systemutvecklingsprojekt. Syftet med denna studie har varit att undersöka om RUP verkligen bidrar till framgångsrik systemutveckling, och i så fall även till att identifiera de vitalaste faktorer som lett till denna framgång. Fokus har legat på processkvalitet och genom en enkätundersökning, samt kvalitativa intervjuer med användare, har vi kunnat fastställa att metoden faktiskt bidrar till framgångsrik systemutveckling. De mest väsentliga bakomliggande framgångsfaktorerna som undersökningen har identifierat, är RUPs riktlinjer för produktion av dokumentation, konfigureringsmöjligheter av utvecklingsprocessen, stödet för projektledning, samt det iterativa tillvägagångssättet vid utveckling..

Den här uppsatsen analyserar och jämför olika konflikttransformerande organisationer som verkat i Nordirland och genom detta ges möjlighet att på så vis ta reda på om det skett en konflikttransformation eller ej? Analysen utgår från John Paul Lederach teorier kring fredsbyggande modeller. Jag kommer använda mig av två modeller, den ena är en pyramid över samhället, där det politiska toppskiktet ligger högst och gräsrotsnivån ligger i botten. Den andra är en modell över förflyttningen från ett stadium av konfliktövergång till en fullständig transformation av konflikten. Vidare kommer jag ta fram vilket arbete, metoder samt vilken målgrupp de konflikttransformerande organisationerna har använt.

As my final project I planned to animate a movie. Usually I work with illustration and I see animation as the next step in my design work, to investigate how illustration and movement can collaborate. The purpose with my project was to develop my technical skills, improve my design process and broaden my work to eventually be able to work with animation. My ambition was to make an abstract animation and my focus was mainly on my personal process and knowledge. I also wanted to explore how much one can abstract a movie while still communicating a story or message..

The creation of value is considered the core purpose and central process of economic exchange. Value creation is now conceptualized as shared by both producers and customers, and value is seen as fundamentally derived and determined in use, the integration and application of resources in a specific context, rather than in exchange, embedded in products and manifested as price. The field of research is abundant with publications but these do not fully further the understanding of value creation and co-creation in a way that is meaningful for theoretical development and decision making in business and marketing practise. Without a thorough understanding of the factors characterising value co-creation, the nature as well as content and locus of co-creation cannot be identified. In that case value co-creation easily becomes a concept without substance. Until now, individual publications on co-creation have focused on few or different aspects, have emphasized the process from either the customer?s or from  the firm?s vantage point, have different theoretical approaches and have ignored the complexity in interactions between actors.The purpose of this essay is to analyse how five fundamental aspects of co-creation of customer value are perceived in contemporary marketing literature. Discussing the different views on co-creation, this essay concludes that thoughthere are evident points of agreement, finding one generally valid doctrine of predestination or value co-creation is improbable.

Denna studie bearbetar hur vattenbrist i tredjevärldens storstäder kan innebära en ökad osäkerhet för individer. Genom att se till en breddad betydelse av det traditionella säkerhetsbegreppet är ambitionen med uppsatsen att visa på hur vattenbrist kan analyseras som en säkerhetsfråga och därigenom också öka förståelsen för många individers ökade osäkerhet i utvecklingsvärldens storstäder. För att göra detta har jag valt att använda mig av en teoriutvecklande metod, där fokus ligger på att bidra med kompletterande förklaringsfaktorer till mänsklig osäkerhet. Som komplement till mänsklig säkerhetsteori har jag valt att också lägga fokus på tre andra teorier: miljösäkerhet, utvecklingsteori och perspektivet om mänskliga rättigheter. Genom en kombination av dessa teorier anser jag att många nya och viktiga infallsvinklar, på såväl säkerhet som vattenbrist, kan komma fram och kanske också utmana gamla idéer och föreställningar..
