Background: Basic hygiene is an important measure to prevent healthcare associated infections, save patients? lives, and reduce economic costs for health care. Healthcare associated infections are a threat to patient safety. In community care persons who are the care takers are a risk group and nurses must make sure that basic hygiene procedures are followed.Method: Literature studies with descriptive design, article search in databases Cinahl and PubMed. The results found are based on twelve chosen articles.Aim: To describe factors related to adherence to basic hygiene and how nurses in community care can help to improve compliance with these procedures.Results: In the nursing staff and leadership in health care interest in and the understanding of basic hygiene is described as being of most importance.

Sweden is currently a country in which a large amount of children?s time has changed to be spent within institutions, for small children these institutions are preschools. These are places where notions are created regarding what children are, what?s good for children, what?s normal and desirable regarding children. The purpose of this study has been to decipher what?s considered desirable and what notions or ideas regarding children are prevalent in preschools with an I Ur och Skur profile.

Rollen som närstående till någon som vårdas i livets slutskede på en vårdinrättning innebär en mycket påfrestande situation. Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva upplevelsen av att vara närstående till en patient som befinner sig i livets slutskede. Metod: Litteraturstudien bygger på åtta vetenskapliga artiklar som har analyserats med innehållsanalys. Resultat: Det framkom att närstående ofta upplever att de befinner sig i en utsatt situation.

The overall market they are concentrated on is to different institution such as schools, hospitals etc.The purpose of this work is to investigate possibilities to improvement of material- and production control at JELD-WEN. The report will handle the master production schedule to and from the production divisions within manufacturing industry. Focus will be on the way for information- and material flows from arrival, transport within the company and further on to customers.Further a map of the flow was performed which gave a clearer picture of the connection between the flow of information- and material for the manufacturing process. On the basis of the mapping of the flow, the group discovered that the flow of material had some improvement potential.

This thesis is a discourse analysis analyzing public library librarians' talk on the subject of public library meeting places. Within the field of Library and Information Science the public libraries' functions as social meeting places have been scrutinized for more than a decade. Researchers in the Nordic countries in particular have looked at library users' use of the library space and have highlighted the sociologic dimensions of the public library and the meeting place functions. Few however have paid much attention to the library personnel's point of view. The discourse analysis perspective is about language use and how people construct the reality.

The report will focus on the comparison between the participators view of partnering with an emphasis on common partnering goals. The report will also focus on the economical benefits, the time benefits and the social environment benefits you can find in partnering.The principals of partnering are; participants together make the common goals for the projects, make ice breaking activities to improve stakeholder engagement and working with an open economy to find the profitable choice for the project. With a combination of the three principals the team together decide the best solution for the project.

During the 90s most companies organized and adopted routines for their environmental work. This work included for example eco-efficiency improvements and the introduction of environmental managing systems. At the UN conference in Rio in 1992 the concept Sustainable development was defined, but it was not until about the year of 2000 that companies in Sweden shifted their work from environmental management to sustainable management. A consequence of this is that they now have to focus on environmental aspect in conjunction with social and economic aspects.The purpose of this study is to gain understanding of what a change of focus to sustainable development means for companies. Has the environmental work suffered in the competition with social/economical aspects under the new sustainable focus? How will the new way of working affect the balance between environmental and social aspects? Changes were studied in five companies by analysing their annual-, environmental- and sustainability reports and through interviews of sustainable managers.

Problemformulering: Varje år avlider ett stort antal personer till följt av en cancerdiagnos. Patienter med en obotlig cancer vårdas palliativt och målet med den palliativavården är att uppnå bästa möjliga livskvalitet. Upplevelser så som rädslor och ångest är vanliga problem och har en speciell innebörd för varje patient. Det är därför betydelsefullt att belysa upplevelser av att stå inför döden för att ökaförståelsen och kunskapen hos sjuksköterskor.Syftet: var att belysa upplevelser av att stå inför döden hos patienter med cancer iden palliativa fasen. Metod: En litteraturstudie som utgörs av 12 vetenskapliga artiklar med kvalitativ ochkvantitativ ansats.Resultat och konklusion: Resultatet visar att existentiella upplevelser, upplevelsen av ångest och oro, förlust, hopp samt acceptans infann sig hos merparten av patienterna som stod inför döden.Implikation: Patienternas upplevelser vid livets slut är varierande och är viktiga att uppmärksammaav sjuksköterskor för att tillgodose patienternas behov. Utbildning och ytterligare forskning utifrån ett patientperspektiv krävs för att optimera denpalliativa vården för patienter med obotlig cancer..

Det går att fördröjasjukdomsförloppet och undvika komplikationer om man genomför livsstilsförändringar.Förändringarna kan leda till tankar och känslor hos individerna kring deras situation.Det är viktigt för sjuksköterskor med ökad kunskap om hur personer med diabetes typ 2upplever genomförandet av livsstilsförändringar. Ökad kunskap inom detta område kange personer med diabetes typ 2 förbättrade förutsättningar vid genomförandet avlivsstilsförändringar.Syfte: Syftet med litteraturstudien var att öka kunskapen om hur personer med diabetestyp 2 upplever livsstilsförändringar. Metod: Allmän litteraturstudie baserad på tolv kvalitativa vetenskapliga artiklar.

Patients in intensive care are often intubated, and therefore unable to speak, which leads to difficulties in communication. The ICU is a very stressful environment and can be experienced as foreign and frightening by both patients and their close ones. The ICU nurse?s caring responsibilities includes both the care of the critically ill patient and the support of relatives who are often in shock. This balance is not always straightforward, and acting professionally in both instances can lead to problems.

Patienter med missbruksproblem upptar mycket av hälso- ochsjukvårdens platser och resurser. Det är därmed viktigt attsäkerställa att dessa patienter får god vård och belysa vilkafaktorer som kan inverka på omvårdnaden. Syftet var att belysasjuksköterskors attityder gentemot patienter medmissbruksproblem samt att beskriva hur mötet mellansjuksköterskor och dessa patienter ser ut. Det användes 17vetenskapliga artiklar som grund för detta arbete varav 11 varkvantitativa och sex var kvalitativa. Det framkom attsjuksköterskor ofta uppvisade negativa attityder gentemot patientermed missbruksproblematik och detta inverkade på omvårdnadenav patienterna.

Bemötandet av patienter i livets slutskede ställer stora krav på vårdaren. Egenskaper som kan hjälpa oss som vårdare i vårt möte med döende patienter är en god självkännedom, självreflektion, empatisk förmåga samt såväl fackkunskap men även kunskap om patientens psykologiska och sociala förhållanden. Syftet med studien vara att beskriva vilka faktorer som är av betydelse mellan vårdare och patient i bemötandet med patienter i livets slutskede. Metoden var en litteraturstudie där sökningen i databasen utfördes för att få fram vetenskapliga artiklar som stämde överens med studiens syfte. Även en manuell söknings utfördes på biblioteket.

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to clarify and analyze the servicescapes impact on brand image and customer loyalty among general dealers. The research question that we have used in the study is what characterizes the connection between the servicescape and the possibility to maintain and strengthen the customer relation among general dealers. The study is based on a qualitative approach and we have conducted eight interviews with experts and special advisers within the field. We have chosen to focus our study on the fact the market for general dealers have changed and the demands from the customers are severed throughout the years. The servicescape consists of the physical surroundings where the service is produced, examples of factors that influence the servicescape is the employees and the customers.

SAMMANFATTNING I Sverige räknas diabetes som en av de allra största folksjukdomarna och idag finns det 300 000 individer som drabbats av sjukdomen. Av de människor som drabbats av sjukdomen lider 90 % av diabetes typ 2. Sjukdomen beräknas öka kraftigt i framtiden. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva hur patienter med diabetes typ 2 upplever sin vårdkvalitet. Att vårdkvaliteten håller hög nivå och att patienter med diabetes typ 2 får den vård de behöver är av största vikt för sjukvården.
