This report describes the work process to an interactive movie addressed to children with neurodevelopmental disabilities, where Jippieserien is the client. The aim is to explore how multimodal media can convey Jippieseriens message to children with neurodevelopmental disabilities and their parents, by taking the users needs into account.It is important to focus on the people who will use the system when designing interactive systems. The company GEMS PET Systems produces cyclotrons which is a type of particle accelerator. The cyclotrons create log files that are analyzed by the company?s employees for different purposes like troubleshooting or installation. Background: The number of older people is increasing in Sweden. The elderly patient often requires a more complex type of care, than younger patients. The concept of frailty is often used to describe individuals who have a high biological age and a decreased physiologic reserve which could be associated with acute illness and an increased vulnerability. Emergency medical care today is not suitable for elderly patients and adaptions for these elderly patients and the demands this places on the health care is necessary. Mölndal Hospital emergency department has around 42 000 visitors per year, many of the clients have a high age.

The aim was to explore how the first page of a student newspaper has been changed over time since it was founded in the 1960´s.This thesis explores how the front page of the student newspaper Lösnummer has been changed since it was founded in 1966. It concerns the location and frequency of elements and it is based on theories of layout, the first page and visual communicationIn addition, the thesis develops a new kind of method for determining the location of elements on the type area. The method is based on the hexadecimal number system. It is formed as a grid which is placed on the first page to determine the location of the elements.It concludes that the frequency of elements had its peak during the 1970´s and has ever since decreased gradually. Image placement has gone from being scattered all over the front page to be centered and increase in size. .

Bakgrund: Kommunikation med patienter som vårdas med respirator är en stor del av omvårdnaden för intensivvårdssjuksköterskan. Otillräcklig kommunikation mellan sjuksköterska och patient kan leda till otrygghet och stress hos patienten. Syfte: Studiens syfte är att beskriva hur intensivvårdssjuksköterskor kommunicerar med patienter som vårdas med respirator, vilka möjligheter och hinder som finns samt om sjuksköterskans erfarenhet har betydelse.Metod: En kvantitativ ansats valdes och data till pilotstudien insamlades med hjälp av en enkät. Resultat: Sjuksköterskorna i studien ansåg inte att det är svårt att kommunicera med patienter som vårdas med respirator. Större delen av sjuksköterskorna använde sig av kroppsspråk, ögonkontakt och beröring som kommunikationsmetoder.

Upplevelsen av patientdelaktighet

I ett alltmer välinformerat samhälle, ökar individens kunskap om hälso- och sjukvård samt om patientens rättigheter och skyldigheter. Detta ställer krav på sjuksköterskor att arbeta aktivt för ökad patientdelaktighet. Syftet med denna pilotstudie var att undersöka patientens upplevelse av patientdelaktighet på en cytostatikamottagning på ett sjukhus i södra Sverige. Datainsamling skedde med hjälp av enkät, utdelad på mottagningen. Materialet bearbetades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys, vilket resulterade i två huvudkategorier: Kommunikation mellan patient och sjuksköterska och hantering av sjukdomsupplevelsen.

Background: Relatives are those persons who are closest to the patient, regardless of relationship and included into the patient´s life world. When a person is in a palliative stage this affects not only the patient but also the relatives, as it implies such a big change in life for all. The nurse has an important role for both the patient and the relatives. Aim: The aim is to highlight the relative´s needs of support for palliative care. Method: A literature review based on previous research. Ten articles were found, nine with a qualitative approach and one with both qualitative and quantitative approach. Results: The analysis resulted in six themes, these were the result of the study. The six themes were, ?to be seen an confirmed?, ?good communication?, ?continuous information?, ?availability and continuity?, ?to participate? and ?to share responsibility with the staff?. Conclusion: As a nurse we come in contact with relatives of patients in a palliative setting in any form.
