To be aware of the signs of depression, and how an authorized nurse can support the patient is therefore of great value. För personer som drabbas av sjukdom förändras livet och det kan upplevas som en traumatisk händelse. Personer med cancer har ett varierande behov av stöd under denna tid. Kontaktsjuksköterska är ett begrepp som innebär en kontaktperson i vården för patienter med sjukdom. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva upplevelsen hos personer med cancer av att ha en kontaktsjuksköterska.. Elva vetenskapliga studier analyserades med kvalitativ manifest innehållsanalys.

Background: Good communication is very important for the safety of patients in emergency situations. Few studies have been conducted regarding communication among health care staff. The aim of the present study was to investigate anesthetist nurses experience of communication among health care staff during a situation of emergency in a hospital ward.Methods: The study is explorative and based on interviews with six anesthetist nurses. A qualitative content analysis was used as an analyses model.Result: The six anesthetist nurses experienced structured communication as of great importance during an emergency situation. Three main categories appeared from the material: i) the importance of the organization ii) communication structure and communication patterns and iii) education and experience with nine subcategories.

Aim: The purpose of this study was to highlight in what forms and manifestations spirituality emerges in medical patients whether they consider themselves believers or not. The other aim was to analyse spiritual ideas of nursing scientists ? authors of the patients? oriented studies to come to the better understanding of the situation with spirituality in caring. Method: Descriptive meta-synthesis was chosen, in which 12 nursing studies were analyzed and compiled in a new integrity. Results: The analysis shows that caregivers must be ready to meet and confirm the spiritual dimension consisting of Faith, Meaning, Relationship and Questions without answers in the various forms and expressions they emerge in patient?s experience.

Diskrepansen mellan vad patienten upplever som behov och sjuksköterskans tolkning av behoven finns beskrivna i studier. Skillnaden tolkas som brist på patientens delaktighet i omvårdnaden.Ökar patientens delaktighet inom omvårdnaden ökar även vårdens kvalité. Upplevelsen av delaktighet postoperativt har studerats i begränsad omfattning, varför denna studie förväntas bidra till ökad kunskap av delaktighet inom den postoperativa vården. Syfte. Syftet med studien var att beskriva patienters upplevelse av delaktighet i postoperativ vård efter elektiv tarmkirurgi. Metod. En kvalitativ metod med fenomenologisk ansats har använts i studien.

Antalet cancerfall ökar för varje år, 2005 insjuknade cirka 50 000 svenskar i någon form av cancersjukdom. Hälften av dessa har så långt gången sjukdom att bot inte är möjligt. Dessa patienter erbjuds palliativ vård vars huvudsyfte är att skapa möjligheter till god livskvalitet. Syftet med studien var att belysa cancerpatienters upplevelser av livskvalitet i palliativ vård. Studien genomfördes som en litteraturstudie och resultatet baserades på 10 vetenskapliga artiklar som söktes i databaserna Cinahl, PsycInfo och PubMed.
