Bakgrund: Varje dag möter sjuksköterskor patienter som drabbats av en sjukdom. Under sjukdomsförloppets sista tid är patienten känsligare och mer sårbar. Bemötandet blir då en viktig aspekt i en bra vårdrelation mellan sjuksköterskan och den döende patienten som bygger på tillit, trygghet och respekt. Syfte: Syftet med studien är att belysa ett bra bemötande med en döende patient ur sjuksköteskans perspektiv. Metod: En litteraturstudie utifrån nio kvalitativa artiklar.

According to the Employment Protection Act, the permanent employment is the main condition of employment in Sweden. Nevertheless, nowadays a large number of employers choose to apply other conditions of employment than the permanent employment in their businesses. The rapid technical development and the demands for shorter perspective investment in companies on the Swedish labour market have started the requirement for a more flexible workforce. On-call employment is one of the conditions of employment that is increasing the most. This condition of employment is adjusted by the parties on the labour market.

Bakgrunden till föreliggande studie är att stroke är en av Sveriges stora folksjukdomar och afasi kan uppkomma som komplikation. Detta kan medföra problem vid kommunikationen och vårdrelationen kan bli lidande. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att belysa vårdrelationen med strokedrabbad patient med afasi ur ett vårdarperspektiv. Studien grundade sig på sex vetenskapliga artiklar som granskades genom innehållsanalys inspirerad av Burnards (1991) analysmetod. Analysen resulterade i tre huvudgrupper med undergrupper vilka belyser olika aspekter för att skapa en god vårdrelation.

Syfte: Undersöka sjuksköterskors och undersköterskors erfarenheter, upplevelser och syn påanhörigas närvaro i akutrummet i samband med omhändertagandet av en kritiskt sjuk ellerskadad patient. Metod: Empirisk studie med kvalitativ ansats. 16 semi-struktureradeintervjuer genomfördes. Resultat: Vårdpersonalen har delade meningar om anhörigas närvaropå akutrummet. Generellt tycks anhörigas närvaro upplevas som positivt så länge det handlarom en kritiskt sjuk eller skadad patient.

This report addresses the growing need to adapt the medical healthcare to the new possibilities that can be accomplished by incorporating a web aspect to the personal treatment plans of patients. It describes what implementations that need to be considered in order to successfully convert to a partially web-based treatment.The report also reflects the potential economical gain that can be made by keeping the communication between the patient and the doctor frequent. Background: Various follow-up studies show that there are deficiencies in the care of patients affected by stroke. In order to provide good care according to the National Board of health and welfare and national guidelines for stroke care systematic quality audits need to be carried out.Purpose: To investigate if the local guidelines for stroke care in Örebro County are followed and to explore how people with stroke experience care and rehabilitation in hospital, primary care and community.Method: Primary health care records were reviewed using quality indicators in the local stroke guidelines. Samples of patients were obtained from the County´s three hospitals. Differences between men and women, younger and older, were analysed with chi-squared test. Eleven people were interviewed about their experiences of care, rehabilitation, support and participation.

Sports are often seen as costly polluter but in the same time the motor sports have encourages a large part of development, both for vehicles and other industries. Inventions like rear mirror and ABS brakes come from motor sports. One way to once again drive development forward while making motor sports carbon-neutral is to run the race cars on hydrogen. In this thesis, the goal is to convert a spark ignition engine for hydrogen operation.

Genom att känna till vilka misstag som görs och varför ökar, yrkeskompetensen och på så sätt höjs patientsäkerheten inom vården. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att jämföra vad som anmälts enligt Lex Maria på sjukhus i Region Skåne under år 2000 och år 2010. Metod: En empirisk studie med kvantitativ ansats. Lex Maria anmälningar hämtades från Socialstyrelsens regionala tillsynsmyndighet syd.

Controlled studies on how patient education influences subjective health in Parkinson?s disease are lacking.AimThe aim of this study was to examine the influence patient education had on drug requirements and on subjective health status of persons with Parkinson?s disease.MethodologyA short form of Health Survey, SF-12, was used to measure perceived health. SF-12 was administered before and one month after patient education (intervention group; n= 48), and in waiting list control (n= 48).

Aim: The aim of this study was to describe intensive care nurses? experiences communicating with patients during mechanical ventilation.Methods/design: A qualitative interview study. Interviews where analyzed using descriptive content analysisSetting: Nine intensive care nurses from two different intensive care units were interviewed using a semi structured interview guide.Background: Past research has shown that patients during mechanical ventilation in the intensive care unit, feel very vulnerable and the helplessness of being unable to speak. These patients feels that they are completely dependent on the nurses and their competence. It has been shown to be very important that the patient feels included, acknowledged and respected.Results: The analyzed data resulted in a theme; through communication strive to preserve patients´ dignity and three main categories; create relationship to the patient, minimize patients´ vulnerability and don´t give up.

Övervikt bland barn är ett utbrett folkhälsoproblem och att vara överviktig som barn är relaterat till övervikt också i vuxen ålder men även till följdsjukdomar. Syfte med denna litteratur studie var att erhålla kunskap om vad sjuksköterskor behöver kunna för att förebygga och minska fetma och övervikt hos barn. Granskning av elva vetenskapliga artiklar visade att sjuksköterskor bör ha kännedom av livsstils faktorerna som fysisk aktivitet, mat konsumtion och föräldrar rollen. Åtgärder så som patient undervisning, stödsamtal, motivation och empati torde vara omvårdnads åtgärdes som kan underlätta preventiv sjuksköterske arbete..

Dementia is a concept that describes different conditions when memory and cognitive abilities degenerate. Approximately 140 000 persons in Sweden suffers from some kind of dementia. Many are stricken with behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia, BPSD. The aim of this study was to illuminate nursing staff?s experiences of caring for persons suffering from dementia and BPSD within municipal and institutional care.
