According to the Conventions on the Rights of the Child, children have the right to make their voices heard and express their opinion in situations concerning them. With this paper the authors have chosen to explore social worker?s view?s on children?s participation and influence, and how these are manifested through the entire case process. The focus in this study has also been the positive and negative effects the children?s influence may have.To investigate this, a qualitative study using semi-structured interviews has been conducted.

The purpose of this essay is to describe what difficulties and challenges are for teachers of religious education at upper secondary school. The essay is written from a teacher's perspective, where the focus is on the teacher's perceptions of the difficulties and challenges of teaching religious education. The methodology for the collection of information was done through qualitative interviews. Previous research shows that one of the challenges in the teaching profession is the interpretation of the curriculum, and then which of those is correct. The essay shows that the biggest challenges that teachers experience in the subject of religious education is the students' prejudice against different religious groups, and also the difficulty of getting students to understand the purpose of what is being taught.

SAMMANFATTNING  Bakgrund: Patienter på kirurgavdelningar är komplexa såtillvida att de förutom den kirurgiska åkomman kan ha olika medicinska diagnoser vilket ofta komplicerar både vården, behandlingen samt medför svårigheter i att upptäcka ett försämrat tillstånd. För att kunna bedöma patientens tillstånd och få en uppfattning om hur denne mår måste objektiva och lätt mätbara parametrar användas.Modified Early Warning Score (MEWS) är ett poängsystem som mäter några av patientens vitala funktioner och baseras på sex mätbara/bedömningsbara  funktioner: andningsfrekvens, puls, systoliskt blodtryck, kroppstemperatur, vakenhet och urinmängd. Poängsumman varierar mellan 0 och 17, där 0 är normalt. Syfte: Att kartlägga fördelningen av poäng enligt MEWS hos akuta patienter med kirurgiska åkommor på två kirurgavdelningar på ett universitetssjukhus i Sverige samt undersöka vilka åtgärder som vidtagits vid respektive poäng enligt MEWS. Metod: Retrospektiv journalgranskningsstudie  där dokumentation av mätningar med MEWS för 94 patienter granskades. Resultat: Totalt återfanns 229 poäng enligt MEWS varav 76 var från mätningar vid ankomst till avdelning och resterande  153 från mätningar under fortsatt vårdtid. Antalet MEWS-mätningar per patient varierade mellan  1 och 31. Nitton åtgärder som ingår i sjuksköterskans profession kopplade till en poäng enligt MEWS återfanns.

Bakgrund: Personcentrerad vård är ett arbetssätt som nu implementeras i vården. Arbetssättet syftar till att se hela patienten med ett holistiskt synsätt. Att arbeta personcentrerat betyder att patienten ges möjlighet att inkluderas i sin vård. Delaktighet är därmed ett centralt begrepp för arbetssättet. Att öka delaktigheten för patienter som lider av schizofreni är en utmaning för den psykiatriska vården då sjukdomsbilden gör att patienten har bristande sjukdomskänsla.

Aim: The aim of this study was to describe how nurses experience meeting patients with self-injurious behavior in health care and the factors that influence nurses' attitudes towards this particularly group of patients. The literature study also contains a review of the articles included datacollection method. Method: A descriptive literature review of quantitative and qualitative articles published between 2004 and 2014. The articles were sought in the databases PubMed and PsycINFO. The result of the present literaturestudy was based on 11 articles.Result:The nurses experiences were mainly positive, however, the results also shows that they feel antipathy, negative emotions, inadequacy and obstacles in the care of patients with self-injurious behavior.

För att kunna utvärdera och utveckla de olika behandlingarna behövs kliniska studier. Innan en patient ingår i en klinisk studie krävs ett informerat samtycke som skrivs på av den ansvarige prövaren och patienten.Alla patienter har rätt till information och delaktighet avseende den egna vården och behandling. Det är därför viktigt att genom individuellt anpassad information förmedla kunskap, förståelse och insikt om hälsotillstånd, diagnos och metoder för undersökning och behandling.

The aim of this essay is trying to understand the ideological changing process over the last decades and the ideological meaning of the relatively new conception lifelong learning as well, and how it comes that the opportunities offered the individual pre-school child and the individual compulsory-school pupil to assimilate the so important learning, differs so dramatically all though the expressed ambition to offer each and every one equal opportunities. What are the ideological structures that are, and have been in function, that carries and have carried the perceptions of the use and value of fostering and education?In a time with the welfare ideology in a hegemonic position, it was seen important that the state took major responsibility for the education of the citizens. In our time, it appears, an economist ideology has taken the hegemonic position, and education is becoming an increasingly economic issue, and equality is decreasing along with, as in general society, the increasing of segregation within the educational system..

The study aims to investigate student participation as a tool for democratic development in secondary school from a student perspective. Furthermore, students' perceptions of the school's work with student participation in formal and informal contexts are also investigated, with basis in the teaching structure. The results are based on interviews conducted with students who all attend the same class in their last year of high school. Subsequently, an analysis is made based mainly on three different theories: democracy, curricula and sociocultural theory. The result shows that students feel that they are able to practice student participation but the amount of influence they get differs between individuals depending on devotion and commitment.

Bakgrund: Människor med fetma blir allt vanligare i vårt samhälle. Tidigare forskning visar att många inom hälso- och sjukvården har ett negativt synsätt gentemot patienter med fetma. Detta eftersom dessa patienter gör vårdarbetet tyngre och mer personalkrävande samtidigt som fetman anses vara patientens eget fel. Syfte: Syftet med detta examensarbete är att beskriva vad patienter med fetma har för erfarenheter av mötet med hälso- och sjukvården.Metod: En kvalitativ litteraturstudie med beskrivande syntes användes för att analysera elva artiklar som belyser erfarenheter som patienter med fetma har från hälso- och sjukvården.Resultat: Två teman presenteras: Utsatthet och medmänsklighet. Dessa delas in i fem subteman: Dömd på förhand, att inte få stöd, en kroppsstorlek som begränsar, bemött med respekt, att få stöd.Slutsats: Patienter med fetma är en utsatt grupp inom hälso- och sjukvården.

The purpose of this thesis is to gain a deeper understanding of Swedish companies? use of corporate sponsorships as a tool for communication. The research describes motives and goals of corporate sponsorships, the selecting process and methods used in evaluating its effects. The empirical data has been colleted through interviews with two companies sponsoring athletics at a top level in Sweden. The study shows that the principal objectives and motives companies have with sponsorships are related to brand exposure, image improvement and relationships.

Scientific research shows that humans regain their strength when they are spending time in nature. Ulrich, Kaplan & Kaplan, among others, has shown in their research that nature can reduce stress and decrease the after effects of stress. Lund University Hospital, USiL, is a big working place and has a large number of patients. To be a patient often means that you lose control of your daily life which could cause stress. For the personnel high workload can be a stress factor.

Bakgrund: Lungcancer är en sjukdom som har en dålig prognos och där ett stort antal människor insjuknar årligen. Det är en sjukdom som leder till många och svåra symtom vilket skapar stort lidande. Syfte: Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva patienters upplevelser av att leva med lungcancer i det dagliga livet. Metod: En litteraturbaserad studie genomfördes med en kvalitativ ansats. Tolv vetenskapliga artiklar granskades och analyserades enligt en modell för en litteraturbaserad studie.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur sjuksköterskor på en allmänpediatrisk avdelning disponerar sin tid gällande administrativa arbetsuppgifter jämfört mot direkt och indirekt patientkontakt. För att granska detta fenomen utfördes en aktivitetsstudie. Metod designen var icke experimentell deskriptiv observationsstudie. Där sju olika sjuksköterskor följdes under femton dagar där tidmätning skedde av på förhand kategoriserade aktiviteter. Kategoriseringsschema innehöll nio olika kategorier.
