I och med min kontakt med invandrarungdomar i skolan har jag ställt mig frågan om relationen mellan muslimska tjejer och idrottsutövande. Den kontakt som jag har fått inom skolan med muslimska tjejer och idrott är positiv över lag och detta gör att den bild som media ofta visar med stereotypa bilder av islam inte stämmer. De frågeställningar som belyses i denna undersökning är hur muslimska tjejer ser på idrott och idrottsutövande och om idrottsföreningar gör någonting för att integrera dessa tjejer i sin verksamhet.För att besvara frågeställningarna utgår jag ifrån en intervjustudie med fyra muslimska tjejer. Resultatet av denna undersökning visar att tre av de muslimska tjejerna som blir intervjuade är positiva till ett aktivt idrottsutövande. Samtidigt är det en av tjejerna som säger att hon inte får hålla på med idrott på grund av religionen.

The aim of this descriptive literature study was to describe the patients? experience of the need for social support and the choice of coping strategies during treatment for eating disorders. Further, the authors wanted to describe the relationship with the parents and also to highlight the caring relationship between nurse and patient. Results that came to light, concerning the patients? experience, were that patients with eating disorders, in a majority of studies, indicated a deficient social network.

AbstractBackground: Relation means the relationship between two parts. By creating a good relation between nurse and patient you can conduce a better caring. Aim: The aim of the study was to illustrate the relation within palliative care from nurse- patient perspective. Method: The study is a literature review where ten articles were analysed with qualitative content analysis. Results: The findings showed that knowledge, communication, continuity, silence and availability were the most important thing for the nurse in the relationship.

For centuries Islam and Muslims have been subject to islamophobic attitudes in the west. The purpose with this study was to see into the making of open and closed attitudes against Islam and Muslims from a conflict in southern Thailand, and also to so see if Muslims are portrayed as more violent than the Buddhist groups in the conflict. The aim of the study is also to see if Muslims fall into a violent stereotype. This was studied by looking at five Swedish newspapers coverage of the conflict, during a given time. To be able to look into this, two theories will be used, the first one is the Runnymede Trust theory, which is about open and closed attitudes against Islam and Muslims.

Background: Relatives are those persons who are closest to the patient, regardless of relationship and included into the patient´s life world. When a person is in a palliative stage this affects not only the patient but also the relatives, as it implies such a big change in life for all. The nurse has an important role for both the patient and the relatives. Aim: The aim is to highlight the relative´s needs of support for palliative care. Method: A literature review based on previous research. Ten articles were found, nine with a qualitative approach and one with both qualitative and quantitative approach. Results: The analysis resulted in six themes, these were the result of the study. The six themes were, ?to be seen an confirmed?, ?good communication?, ?continuous information?, ?availability and continuity?, ?to participate? and ?to share responsibility with the staff?. Conclusion: As a nurse we come in contact with relatives of patients in a palliative setting in any form.

Syftet med vårat examensarbete har varit att göra en läromedelsanalys ur ett genusperspektiv i ämnet religion. Vi har studerat två läromedel som riktar sig till grundskolans senare år och två läromedel som riktar sig till gymnasiet. I analyserna har vi kommit fram till att det i läromedlen för grundskolan finns en stor avsaknad av genusmedvetenhet. Despite this, research has shown that nurses, for various reasons choose not to take up the subject with their patients. Aim: The aim of this literature-based study was to illuminate nurses' experiences of talking with patients about sexuality and sexual health. Method: A literature-based study where both qualitative and quantitative studies, have been used.

Acute myocardial infarction is a serious diagnosis. Both the patient and the loved ones experience an immediate uncertainty. To be able to emotionally support the patient´s spouse, the nurse in the coronary care unit must be prepared to also encounter the world of the spouse. The aim of this study was from a nursing perspective to illuminate how life was experienced during the first two months by the spouse of someone, who was stricken by a first time acute myocardial infarction. Interviews with six spouses were conducted.

Syftet med denna undersökning är att genom en kritisk diskursanalys av utvalda tidningsartiklar, redogöra för framställningen av Islamiska Staten (IS) i Irak och Syrien. Det avses genomföras i identifiering och analysering av framträdande diskurser i textmaterialet. Undersökningens kritiska ambitioner ligger i ett synliggörande av medias maktposition i samhället med fokus på diskursen om Islam och muslimer. Läroböckernas bilder undersöks på två sätt: i vilka länder som avbildade muslimer, islamiska platser och föremål befinner sig samt på vilket sätt de avbildas ? med blicken riktad mot bildens betraktare; underifrån, ovanifrån eller i ögonhöjd med betraktaren samt på nära, medellångt eller på långt avstånd.Uppsatsens slutsats är att det i de tre läroböckerna ges uttryck för en föreställning om ?vi? och ?dem? på ett sätt som framställer ?dem? som annorlunda ?oss?, att ?de? befinner sig på ett geografiskt och socialt avstånd från ?oss? och att ?de? är underlägsna ?oss?.

The main objective of this research was to examine description of Islam in two different schoolbooks about religion. The rapport starts with an introduction of the subject and discusses the background of the topic. After the presentation, aims, and the questions I present my methods and material used in this research. Following the method and material is earlier research where I mention some of the previous rapports and results of researchers within the discourse. The theory used to investigate the text is postcolonial and the orientalism theory presented by Edward Said.The intention of the research was to answer if the books representation contributed to an oriental description of Islam and Muslims and to see how the text and pictures where used and structured.

Fibromyalgi är ett kroniskt tillstånd av diffus smärta och trötthet. Syftet var att undersöka hur individer upplever att leva med fibromyalgi. Den forskningsmetod som användes var en litteraturstudie och Polit och Beck nio-stegsmodell användes. De sökord som användes var fibromyalgia, life experience och patient experience. Databaserna som tillämpades var CINAHL och PubMed samt manuella sökningar.
