BAKGRUND: Bröstcancer är en av de vanligaste cancerformerna idag. Det är bara fem procent av kvinnorna som insjuknar som är under 40år.  Pågrund av den låga siffran av unga kvinnor som insjuknar finns det anledning att tro att vården till dem inte är anpassat till situationen de lever i. Pågrund av att de unga kvinnorna är få kan kunskapen kring deras upplevelser vara bristfällig och därför blir vården till dem svårare att anpassa. SYFTE: Studiens syfte var att undersöka hur kvinnor som drabbats av bröstcancer före menopaus påverkas i sin familjesituation och deras behov av stöd.

Till akutmottagningen söker patienter med olika sorters skador, sjukdomar och behov. Många är oroliga över sitt tillstånd och för många är det den första kontakten med sjukvården. Vårdpersonalens bemötande på akutmottagningen är därför av stor betydelse. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva patienters upplevelser av bemötande på akutmottagning. Litteraturstudien baserades på 15 vetenskapliga artiklar och en kvalitativ innehållsanalys med manifest ansats användes som analysmetod.
